They also have teppanyaki there so if you like the whole grilled teriyaki chicken/shrimp, fried rice etc you can do that too! We did not have a reservation so we arrived early before they opened. They noticed us outside and opened the doors early for us. They got us sat at grill top table! We had the Filet Mignon and Chicken with Noodles, Tofu and Vegetable Fried Rice, Kids Chicken Teriyaki, Tempura Fried Vegetables, 3 sushi dishes and Salted Edamame for a family of 7! I love this place. Dani was my server and she was amazing. It was my first time there and she recommended some really good stuff. I got the sunny side special which had a little bit of everything- shrimp, chicken and steak. so tasty. She was so chill and impressionable with me and very patient when I needed time to look on the menu. The salt and pepper calamari with the fuji sauce? SOOOO good. We ate dinner here with friends last night. Service was good and the food was tasty. Generous portions resulted in leftovers. The paper sushi menu is the MOST challenging to read. They must use size four font. Try reading that in a dark booth. I was tempted to walk over to the assembly sushi at the counter but I didn't know if that was cool or not. Our waitress told us later it's fine and most people can't read the menu either. Not to owner -- fix it! lol Other than that, overall good experience with easy parking. Expect a VERY long wait. I placed an order togo and had to wait 30 minutes for my order to be ready on top of the 1 hour ETA time. Sat there waiting while the workers took in a bunch of customers. The food: We got ordered both sushi and the teppanyaki. The fish quality isn't the best and the rolls weren't that good either. One of the fish used in our rainbow roll tasted kind of fishy. The noodles were average. The protein (we got calamri and chicken) were both really dry. The worst part of the entire meal was the fried rice that comes with the teppanyaki. I'm not sure if this is how teppanyaki fried rice is supposed to taste like, but the rice was very mushy and soft, imagine if sticky rice got way overcooked, and had a weird flavor. I tried really hard to finish it but couldn't. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because of the long wait and mediocre food especially since it's high priced. Giving it 2 stars with the benefit of the doubt that I should've ordered better sushi rolls. read more

Don't ask for extra sour cream ON THE SIDE for your nachos because they blob it all on top. We could not even eat the nachos because it was so soggy and cold from all the sour cream on top. Not sure what happened and why they did it that way. I do not like to complain and send back but I wish I would have. This is my first review on yelp and decided to do one for fujis. I go here pretty often, it's close to me and the food is usually really good. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is cause of the portion sizes for the prices. I sometimes get food to go and they never mess up the order but I will say the chicken katsu for $16 is ridiculous since they give you one measly scoop of rice, it's not even worth it. For that price you should get two decent size scoops of rice. Anywhere else I get katsu at, you get two fat scoops of rice, so I'm not sure why they are being cheap on the rice. The chicken portion is decent for the price. The other complaint is they never give you chop sticks or utensils for Togo orders, which they used to so I'm not sure why they stopped. read more

My husband and I love going to Fuji's during happy hour 8:30pm we always get the same thing, spider hand roll, the Fuji special with the little quail egg on top, calamari, drink lots of sake and my daughter gets ice cream after the meal. Delicious food and excellent service. We bring our friends for a really fun tepenyaki experience and it is always a great time. We come there on date night and we have loved everything we have tried. I love the prawns, he loves the fried rice and scallops. He also raves about the calimari. They have a full sushi bar as well that is over the top. We are pretty certain they refried our calamari from an earlier order, causing my partner to feel sick to her stomach immediately after eating it. Had to rush home so she could up chuck her food. This used to be my favorite sushi place. But after today's visit I will never be returning. The plates that I got were dirty. The waiter barely checked up on us. The rice on the sushi is not real sushi rice. I also ordered the udon stir fry and the kitchen chef came out to the front asking the sushi chef if he knew how to make the stir fry because he has never made it before.
