    Veggie Tofu Bowl

I was so happy to come to this cute little place. I moved to the Midwest a few years ago and we are severely deficient in Teriyaki! The man who helped us was so kind and the food was delicious!

I wanted yakisoba, he wanted teriyaki. That's how we came across this place. The menu looked good, the prices right, and it wasn't far for delivery, plus they had a deal on gyoza. When it arrived the portions were big and it all tasted so good. He didn't realize when he ordered that he got a little salad with his and it made him very happy (especially since he wasn't getting veggies like I was). The mac salad is a little different. Was like someone adding a bit of coleslaw to the mac, which gave it a different flavor than I've had before. Personally I liked it, but it was a little sweeter than say Hawaiian style. We enjoyed it very much.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out they're serving poke bowls now! The selection isn't huge but it's just what I needed! We also ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and it was so much food we were able to feed the whole family with this meal. The restaurant also sells lots of beautiful plants which will greet you as soon as you walk in. The service is fast and friendly, definitely my go to for lunch now!

The cutest little teriyaki shop! The man at the counter gave a warm welcome and was very kind to everyone that came in, especially kids. It was very sweet. The teriyaki chicken breast was delicious, probably the best I have ever had and was a very large portion. I would say you could split between two and still feel full. So good!

It's a different vibe when you enter the place, it's a plant shop/restaurant. The food honestly was pretty good, the Katsu chicken curry was almost a 2 meals in one, the chicken was moist and tasty but it lacks side items, it came only with rice. They don't have a Mac salad or other sides to elevate the dish. It's a good to go place to order for sure.

I was working in the area for a month, and I decided to try this place out on my lunch break. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The portion is big and the price is cheap! Everything was made fresh to order too. On top of it all, the owner was so friendly and nice. He remembered me after going there one time. I kept going back throughout my time there and told him that I'll definitely come back in the future if I'm in the area. I've tried their bulgogi, curry chicken katsu, bulgulgi veggie bowl, and bulgulgi fries. They're all so goood!!! Hands on 10/10 recommend!!! Stop reading now and go already!

For the low price of only twelve bucks, you can enjoy enough chicken teriyaki with rice and vegetables to last you two meals. It's delicious, and insanely economical. A nice, friendly family run business that recently started to double as a plant store. Big on taste and also smiles here! The mom, the dad and the son all work here. I bought a very unique indoor cactus for $14. Also try the Katsu here or the yakisoba. I am very partial to the yakisoba!! The plants add a lot to the unique ambiance- and they are all so healthy!

I ordered the Dragon Roll and Las Vegas roll. Both were quite tasty. We also ordered the Agedashi Tofu as a starter, a 6 piece of the Oysters, the Salmon Sashimi Flight, and House Tonkotsu Ramen. The oysters were pretty small, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Sashimi tasted very fresh and we loved the assortment of pieces.

Mirakutei occupies the same space that a previous sushi restaurant occupied. If you are familiar…read morewith it, it has the same super upscale, swanky vibe and décor that the previous place had. If you want scenery, Mirakutei is probably unbeatable. When we arrived, the place was completely empty, save for one table. We should have taken this as a warning and left (Clackamas Town Center is ALWAYS crazily busy, and for a fancy restaurant there to be almost empty speaks volumes). Since we chose this place specifically based on the many positive reviews, we figured we'd give it a go. It pains me to write this review, but one star is what Mirakutei earned. The menu is, well, let's just call it "unexpected". I don't know what they're going for, but "pesto" on sushi doesn't seem like a fusion that should exist. We ordered a variety of items, and across the board, they were all terrible. Prices are also REALLY high. The "salmon flight" consisted of four pieces of salmon nigiri, each of a different variety. I don't know what any of them were, but only one of the three had any semblance of flavor, and one was probably the toughest piece of fish I've ever been served. The yellowtail fared slightly better, but it was garnished with what appeared to be off-cuts or scrap that had been chopped to oblivion. This garnish did NOTHING to add to the flavor, texture, or appeal of the nigiri. We also made the mistake of ordering the "Hello Kitty". Don't do this. It is a typical California roll sullied by a pressed patty of, again, what appear to be fish off-cuts that are chopped to oblivion, pressed into a patty shape, overcooked, and draped on top of a cut CA roll with each piece turned on its side. Again, this was just gross. The most egregious foul was the "salmon" that was in one half of one of the rolls. It had spoiled, and literally was a slimy fall-apart mush. There is NO excuse in the world for this, and much shame is due to the chef (or management for forcing the chef to use spoiled items). We pointed this out to our waitress, who was very apologetic, and brought out a complimentary piece of mochi ice cream to us in an impossibly short amount of time. It happened so quickly that it seems to have to be their standard procedure that everybody's at the ready to do ("If a guest calls us out for serving spoiled fish, bring them a piece of mochi ice cream"). We were extremely disappointed, and left with a lot of what we'd ordered uneaten, and both of us feeling queasy. We won't be back.

And most importantly, the sushi was fresh and delicious. The presentation was on point, and we all agreed that it tasted even better than some high-end sushi restaurants we've been to (we eat sushi at least once a week and have tried many different places). The restaurant itself is so cool and interesting. If you have young kids or teenagers, they will love it, but honestly, I'm an adult and I loved it too. It is connected to a tea shop on one side, which we also tried. The Thai iced tea with boba was so good! And on the other side, it connects to a fun claw machine/gaming area with great lighting and an upbeat vibe. The restaurant made me feel like I was in Japan. There is an additional conveyor belt above the regular one, with a miniature boat that delivers water and orders directly to the booths. Another thing that we thought was very helpful was that the sushi on the belt had signs with the name and ingredients. I hadn't seen that anywhere else before. I am so excited about this place and love the concept. We will definitely be coming back many times. I only wish it was closer to my house!

This ramen actually takes the cake as my least favorite ramen I've ever had :( When they don't give you a spoon with your ramen, I'm assuming it means you're not supposed to want the broth.
