The last time we ordered we ordered dinner from Uber, order said it was being prepared, then said it was READY. Husband drove down to pick it up and waited in the cold and rain for 20 minutes while he and others stood confused because the cart was closed. Knocked, no one answered. Called 3 times, no one answered. Our order was ready for pick up at 6:22pm, had to spend time with Uber customer service to cancel & refund, husband had to quickly rethink dinner and drive to get it elsewhere. He finally got home with dinner from somewhere else at 7:40pm. He drives a Tacoma and gas in this hellscape is over $5/gallon. Time and money we wont get back. All could have been avoided if the restaurant was honest and canceled our order instead of processing it. I've never been tempted to submit a formal complaint against a restaurant before..I considered in this case, but honestly..and rightfully so..they should be out of business asap anyway and that would be the right ending we can only hope for. It is disgusting what they are doing to customers and they do not deserve to be a business in our community.
