Smelled So good I forgot to take pictures before eating. Hearty K-Bop is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the space strikes you as super clean, relaxed, and very casual. It's not trying to be fancy--it's approachable and comfortable in the best way. The temperature was perfect, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal without distraction. Parking is the only tight spot (literally). The lot isn't big, and it can be a squeeze, but once you're inside, you forget about that. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming--the kind of people who make you feel right at home. The menu is simple and extremely easy to understand. No overwhelming options or confusing layout--just straight to the point. It's great for first-timers who might be new to Korean dishes or for anyone who just wants to make a quick, confident choice. The Food * Fries & Fry Sauce: The fries themselves were solid--crispy and salty, but nothing out of the ordinary. What was unique was the fry sauce. Unlike the typical ketchup-mayo blend, this one had a sweet tanginess that stood out in the best way. Totally different from anything I've had before, and it elevated a simple side into something worth talking about. * Sweet Wasabi Fried Chicken: This dish stole the show. The crunch was perfect, with juicy, tender chicken inside. The wasabi flavor had a real kick, better than what you find at most sushi restaurants in America. The sauce gave it a bold, memorable punch--sweet, spicy, tangy--and together it created a tastebud-exploding experience that I'd come back for again and again. * Beef Bulgogi with Mondu: Absolutely phenomenal. Hands down the best bulgogi I've had in America. The beef was super tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with fluffy rice. The mondu (dumplings) were a great complement--savory and satisfying, rounding out the dish beautifully. Final Thoughts I honestly have no complaints. The food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded expectations. Hearty K-Bop delivers high-quality Korean comfort food in a casual, welcoming setting. If you're craving bold flavors and perfectly executed classics, this spot is a must.

Very flavorful, fresh, and packaged with care Korean dishes!!! I really enjoyed these items and the kimchi was delicious. Service was excellent and very hospitable. I met the owner today and she was very nice. For a grab and go establishment I thought the ambiance was very clean and pleasant. I will definitely be back!!!

First time here and we really were impressed with the food and service. It was super clean and cute as well, my husband loved the Dragon Ball Z wallpaper! We ordered the Macho King wings, the original boneless wings and the Bulgogi with a side of rice, fries, kimchi and pickled radish. My son demolished his chicken and fries which comes with a sweet sauce that reminded me of the famous chicken restaurant sauce. The Macho wings were seasoned well and had a nice level of spice to them. We eat a lot of spicy food so for us it wasn't too spicy but paired really well with the pickled radish which cools your mouth right away. The bulgogi was really good as well and we loved the homemade kimchi with our meal. I really wanted to buy a jar of it!

Yang Yum with spicy sweet sauce, after I had eaten most of it

This is a fun place for a quick and yummy meal! We were waiting for our car a block down the street and wandered this way instead of hanging in their waiting space. We were greeted with helpful service who explained the menu to us, since it was new to us. My wife and I each told her what we like and she gave us a suggestion which ended up being spot on. It's bright and open inside, with an open bathroom that works for everyone, no matter who you are and what your abilities are. I had Yang Yum with sweet and spice boneless fried chicken with a side of potstickers. My wife had the same with a side of rice. The chicken comes in wing form, smothered with really fantastic sauce. They were very crispy but not at all dry. There was plenty of chicken for each of us, my pictures were after I had enjoyed quite a bit. The potstickers were crispy too. That was new to me, and I rather enjoyed them. The sauce that comes with them was just as spicy as my spicy chicken, that was a nice surprise. Her side of rice consisted of two large round scoops of rice. Plenty for her and enough for her to trade me half a scoop for a potsticker. I would definitely come back here if I lived close, I will make note of this place if I'm ever in the area again.

What a fun lucky stop we had!! I was not sure what to expect of Hearty K-Bop, and we all loved our food, the fun comics on the wall, and charming host/owner! We had the fried bone in yang yum chicken - DELISH! Fried shrimp tempura - yum with with dipping sauce, beef bulgogi with rice, my daughter loved it - and the spicy fried chicken- soooo good! I can't wait to go back and try the bibimbap and ramen! Charming owner, loved it all, and highly recommend! AND the kimchi was sooo good - made by the owners mom!

This is THE spot for Korean fried chicken. Move over Bonchon, you've got someone else in town doing everything way better. The sides are even awesome. I'm looking forward to trying the bulgogi, but the teokbokki and mandu are freaking amazing. Really friendly service. This just became my new regular spot. The dining room is also really awesome with lots of manga on the walls. Fun to sit and stare at!

This place is far better than the Korean fried chicken spot at the Clackamas town center. Better quality, homemade, and price is on point.

Mirakutei occupies the same space that a previous sushi restaurant occupied. If you are familiar…read morewith it, it has the same super upscale, swanky vibe and décor that the previous place had. If you want scenery, Mirakutei is probably unbeatable. When we arrived, the place was completely empty, save for one table. We should have taken this as a warning and left (Clackamas Town Center is ALWAYS crazily busy, and for a fancy restaurant there to be almost empty speaks volumes). Since we chose this place specifically based on the many positive reviews, we figured we'd give it a go. It pains me to write this review, but one star is what Mirakutei earned. The menu is, well, let's just call it "unexpected". I don't know what they're going for, but "pesto" on sushi doesn't seem like a fusion that should exist. We ordered a variety of items, and across the board, they were all terrible. Prices are also REALLY high. The "salmon flight" consisted of four pieces of salmon nigiri, each of a different variety. I don't know what any of them were, but only one of the three had any semblance of flavor, and one was probably the toughest piece of fish I've ever been served. The yellowtail fared slightly better, but it was garnished with what appeared to be off-cuts or scrap that had been chopped to oblivion. This garnish did NOTHING to add to the flavor, texture, or appeal of the nigiri. We also made the mistake of ordering the "Hello Kitty". Don't do this. It is a typical California roll sullied by a pressed patty of, again, what appear to be fish off-cuts that are chopped to oblivion, pressed into a patty shape, overcooked, and draped on top of a cut CA roll with each piece turned on its side. Again, this was just gross. The most egregious foul was the "salmon" that was in one half of one of the rolls. It had spoiled, and literally was a slimy fall-apart mush. There is NO excuse in the world for this, and much shame is due to the chef (or management for forcing the chef to use spoiled items). We pointed this out to our waitress, who was very apologetic, and brought out a complimentary piece of mochi ice cream to us in an impossibly short amount of time. It happened so quickly that it seems to have to be their standard procedure that everybody's at the ready to do ("If a guest calls us out for serving spoiled fish, bring them a piece of mochi ice cream"). We were extremely disappointed, and left with a lot of what we'd ordered uneaten, and both of us feeling queasy. We won't be back.

And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!
