"Let me know if you have any questions!". We had questions about her menu items, and she answered them nicely and thoroughly, in detail. Okay, so we order two things: the S3 and the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and here's what U think about each: Tonkotsu Ramen: -The Meat doesn't have a huge initial, impactful taste, but the flavor settles in a couple seconds after you bite it and it's a very soft, warming feeling. -The Broth is where the spice is, and it's not like "oh my mouth is on fire" it's the type of spice that hits you in the back of the throat, so it's bearable but I couldn't chug it personally, I had to take sips which is nice for someone who devours their food like there's no tomorrow (like me). -The Noodles are.. just your typical Ramen noodles, nothing special to add there but nothing bad to say at all! -The Egg, although not marinated in soy sauce like some places do, was cooked well. The inside was soft and gooey, but the white was fully cooked. I have no complaints! -The Mushrooms added a nice texture to the noodles and the overall dish, and worked to make it even more satisfactory. The S3: -I don't have much to say because my cousin ordered it and I only had a few bites, but the veggies were cooked nicely... -The big boom about it was the noodles. If I had to describe it, I would say it's like.. an Orange Chicken type of Tater Tot, it was really unique and fun to eat. Next time I go, it'll be hard to decide what to order.. Okay, don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself! いただきます!

The broth had the perfect kick without overpowering the depth of the ramen, and everything came out hot and fresh. Parking was easy, food cart was easy to find! When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and were promptly seated. The food arrived fresh and very quick, and everything was delectable. We've been through Sichuan/Szechuan restaurants all over the world, and I have to say while this place doesn't disappoint, the food does have a more muted flavors for those not as used to spice. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the standout was definitely the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp. It arrived fresh and hot with plenty of salted egg yolk flavor. They're very casual here, especially with the cute drawings on the walls. My kids loved it. People were coming in and out grabbing plenty of to go orders, they're likely a local favorite. For an introduction to the spices in Sichuan cuisine, I'd recommend. If you're looking for things heavy on spice, you'll be satisfied but might've had better.

The pad see ew and green beans also stood out for us. Wish there were more eggplant in the holy basil eggplant dish, as it was so good. Brussels sprouts were good too, but probably wouldn't need to get them or the masala fries again (also good flavor, just not that crisp and the sauce distribution was on the top). The only dish we didn't care for was the rainy Rangoon, but I enjoyed trying it all. Overall, amazing flavor, and will definitely be back, but wish portions were a bit heftier- though, between our party or 8, 4 apps and 4 mains were good enough.

Since it was my first time, I asked the staff for a recommendation. They suggested the bibimbap and mentioned it was on the spicy side, which I was totally okay with. While their cocktails looked really tempting, I ended up getting a Mexican Coke, and I loved that they had it. The bibimbap was absolutely delicious. It had so many different flavors and textures, and somehow they all worked perfectly together. The waiter also suggested mixing everything together before taking the first bite, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was super cute, with a cozy little tiki-bar vibe inside, and they also have a few outdoor tables. The service was exceptional throughout. This is an easy 5-star review from me.

The employees were super friendly and really helpful with the menu if you have any questions. Great ambiance overall and plenty of outdoor seating. Came by with a friend for an early dinner and got one of the last tables in the place; fair warning, it seems to fill up pretty quickly during peak hours! My caveat for the vegetarian review is that there is honestly just 1 main I could order -- the veggie curry + roti set. If you are vegan, you will need to sub rice for the roti fyi. The curry was overall pretty good and the roti was crispy, flaky, soft in all the right proportions. Satisfying to eat overall on a cold day though I will say portions are a tad small for the price point. My friend really enjoyed her hat yai combo and can you blame her? The fried chicken did look/smell amazing so kudos for that! I will say it's unfortunate that no other menu item or special menu item is vegetarian or has the option to be made vegetarian. But definitely do acknowledge that certain cultural cuisines are inherently meat/seafood based and changing that can detract from their authenticity. Hat Yai is a great option for omnivore groups and you won't have to make your veg friends feel like they are missing out or have nothing to order. However, as a vegetarian, given the 1 menu option - I'm not quite sure how frequently I will return. I will however, direct my omnivore friends right on over.

It's definitely a nice spot for dinner. The service was great, and our food came out pretty quickly. You order at the counter first, and they give you a number to take to your table. There's complimentary water and utensils available on the side, which makes everything pretty convenient. You can also choose to sit inside, outside, or get your food to go. We ordered the pho with steak and brisket, and it was delicious! We also got the vermicelli with pork, which had a lot of flavor. The portions are pretty generous, so the vermicelli would be great to share. Overall, we had a great experience at Luc Lac. Let me tell you, if they had this place in Seattle, it would be poppin' for sure. Loved the decor, and the service was amazing. We were a party of 8, and they did the most to get us seated. They even combined two tables for us without too much wait. We appreciated this so much! This is one of those places where you order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table, although they also seat you. So you wait in line to order, and then you wait a little longer to get a seat. The menu is on a huge, lit-up billboard behind the counter, so you'll see folks crowded in that area trying to read it. The food was alright, no one was particularly blown away. I got a pho, and I would say it was okay. I think you come here more for the vibe and scratching that craving than for out-of-this-world food/flavors. The music is good, the servers were all super friendly, and it's a great vibe. Fyi, there's mostly street parking.
