Hat Yai is a spectacular place to visit with a group - servings are medium sized, so sharing as many different menu items as possible is a real treat. The spice levels are, for me, pretty much perfect. There's lots of flavor without anything being painful. It's not a huge space, so their order-at-the-counter arrangement works beautifully for cutting down the amount of time spent sitting at tables with nothing to do. They have self-serve water and to-go container stations, so this is a very efficient operation. The cauliflower with egg dish was delicious with the tender cauliflowers at the perfect texture and the creamy egg with all the flavorful spices.
