Adding more pictures to show our food, drinks, dessert and the inside decor. They also offered a free Thai tea when you sign up on their app.

The food is incredible good! Nice service, very friendly. The ambiance is beautiful and classy. But you can go casual. Good price! The restaurant is in a cool neighborhood.

Been here three times, this is a good place with good service. Most of the dishes here are delicous and well presented. Just don't order the fried rice, it's not a typical Asian fried rice. The rice was dense, soggy, and drenched in too much sauce, making it overly heavy. It lacked the light, fluffy texture and smoky flavor that a good fried rice should have.

We've been checking out Thai spots all around Portland trying to find the best spots. Thai bloom came with high reviews, and I'm always looking to try Kao Soi noodles at any Thai places I checkout. Came for early dinner so the restaurant was fairly empty. Quickly sat and ordered a nice spread. To drink some Thai teas and a spicy cosmo. For starters- coconut prawns, edamame, potstickers. And for mains- pad Thai, Buddha delight and of course Kao Soi. Everything came out quickly and was very fresh and flavorful. We had also ordered the fried calamari appetizer but they had forgotten and by the time the mains came we reminded them and cancelled that order. Kao Soi was good but not my favorite I have had in Portland. But still great food and popular for good reason.

Hungry for Thai food this place had a spot open right out front, like it was meant to be. Upon entering the restaurant which was very clean and had great aroma we were promptly greeted and seated. I ordered the special of the day a fried rice with shrimp and various sides. Our orders came out fast hot and fresh , very tasty and completely satisfying. I do recommend this place the ambience and great customer service along with the food and very reasonable prices. Thanks for your time and happy dining.

Thai Bloom! is a nice and modern restaurant located in Alphabet District downtown. After shopping, my friends and I came across Thai Bloom! for a late lunch before heading home. We arrived at around 2pm and there were only a few other tables full. The restaurant is quite spacious with both bar and table options. As other Yelp reviewers have noted, they have an extensive menu that includes many unique dishes like crispy duck and Khao Soi as well as favorites like pad thai, pad see ew, and pineapple fried rice. Their prices are on the higher side (with their most popular dish, crab pad thai, priced at $26), but most dish portions (espeically their rice and noodle dishes) are GIGANTIC and can easily feed two people. They also have weekday lunch specials, but we were unfortunately there on a weekend and so this was not an option for us. I ordered the PAD KHEE MAO (approx. $17 plus tip) with chicken. They don't ask for spice stars here, but they will bring homemade hot chili oil and paste upon request. I have to say that this pad khee mao was very different from any other pad khee mao I've had in the past as it was very saucy and didn't have any tomatoes. The sauce was also different (in a good way) and reminded me more of a slightly creamy pasta sauce than the usual vinegar and soy sauce. The vegetables consisted of green onion, peppers, and onions, which were quite good, but I wish the dish was a little less heavy on the onions and included broccoli or some other vegetable instead for more variety and texture. The chicken was moist and they were quite generous with the amount! As noted above, the portions were HUGE and I had to share some with my friend to finish it as it would've been enough food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me! Service was okay. Our waitress was friendly and they brought our food out piping hot. However, it took a while for them to bring the bill and ring us all up at the end of our meal and so we were just sitting there for a while. Note that there is an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 6+, which is fair. The interior and bathrooms are clean, so no complaints there. Overall: 4/5 for food, 3.5/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

Ambiance: 7/10 casual sit down place. Service: 8/10 server was super nice, helpful, and patient Food: 6/10 this was a dish I would order again but wouldn't recommend getting the beef with it. The beef is slow cooked and offers a darker flavor than the light, warming flavors of the curry. The curry was super thick and creamy and the veggies were delicious especially with the cilantro. Next time I'll get the chicken but all in all a good dish

I love their summer rolls! So fresh so flavorful and the peanut sauce is incredible, they usually give you two versions and both are delicious. the staff are always nice. Menu is EXTENSIVE so it can be overwhelming. Food itself can be a hit or miss, their appetizers are always a hit ‍

Spicy chicken wings were phenomenal! Best wings I have ever had; crispy on the outside but juicy. And the sauce was an amazing contrast of sweet and spicy. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were also wonderful. Service was amazing! Very attentive, answered all our questions, and checked in often. A cute spot with outside seating right in NW 23rd. Highly recommend!

We went for Happy Hour. The highlight is the service. Super friendly, attentive and present. Our favorites were the edamame, drunken noodles with tofu and tamarind margarita. We asked for everything to be hot spicy across the board and it was still manageable The pad thai was a bit too sweet and the thai fried rice didn't have much flavor to it. Price was the only reason why I brought it from a 4 to a 3. Their happy hour prices are now as much as the full menu price in other nearby decent thai places - but with half the portion Their normal price is almost double for the same dish or curry, and I don't think the food nor the ambiance is worth that even with the service.

I'm from California visiting and this is The best Thai food I have ever eaten! The flavors are on point! The chicken satay was cooked perfectly and the yellow curry is delicious my favorite was the pad See Eew with barbecue pork and prawns a bit spicy but the flavor is on point10/10 Yum. The chicken wing was savory and tasty broccoli beef yum. The he iced tea perfect the service was great the atmosphere nice. The place was clean and especially the bathroom. Can't wait to be back and definitely be looking forward to eating here again!

    Yellow Curry (Tofu)
    Alea A.

Very nice staff. Extremely attentive. The servers refilled our waters 3-4 times without us needing to call them over which was a nice change compared to other restaurants. They had no issue splitting our bill 3 ways which is always a plus. I ordered the Yellow Curry (with tofu) which had a mild flavor. The tofu and veggies were much harder than I like and the rice was mushy. The noodles my friends tried (Drunken Noodle and Bangkok Noodles) had better seasonings and tastes but were not anything spectacular. The observant and polite servers were appreciated but the food was underwhelming. Especially since the restaurant is on a busy and popular street, meaning there are many good dining options just steps away.

Paid Thai, appetizers (2 pcs eaten already!)

The burnt ends brought that deep, savory, slightly charred flavor, while the curry gave it a completely different dimension. The flavors worked well. I just wished the burnt ends were more fatty. I love the interesting combination! You can watch them frying the roti in front of you, they have a great flavor (they're a bit on the thick side), and the curry is absolutely sublime, with an incredible depth of spices without being hot. I also really enjoyed the freshness and textural blend of the "rice salad," with great cucumbers and herbs, although it was too spicy for my dining companions. I admit I didn't think the fried chicken was anything special--the chicken was moist (even the white meat), but the outside could have been crunchier. But I'm not the biggest expert in fried chicken, nor in pad thai, and both were certainly competent even if not as exceptional. Sticky rice was also cooked perfectly.

There is only one vegetarian item on the menu, the veggie curry. It's sort of an afterthought, throwing a bone for the vegetarians in the group. (Could they not make a vegetarian version of the Southern pad thai, just to be a pal?) The curry sauce is tasty, but the veggies were completely undercooked. Raw, tough, spongy pieces of underdone eggplant. It was like the person cooking it did not know what to do with a vegetable. The roti is tasty (I'm not familiar enough with Southern Thai to critique it). But if there's just one veggie item on the menu, and it's just vegetables in a curry sauce, I feel a restaurant should take pride in getting it right. Seating is a little tight, but somehow that adds to the atmosphere as you end up sharing a table with strangers, which is fun. Service is fast and food came out fast (too fast, in the case of those poor eggplants).
