Ramen was delicious. We found the spot on ig and had dinner here while visiting Portland. I got the Tonkotsu and my gf got the beef ramen. Large portions we even got to take some to go and eat the next day. We also had some Karage chicken and that was so good too. We ordered at the counter and chose our seats. The staff is kind and attentive. The vibe is very chill also romantic. Definetly could be a date spot. It is bar style seating so not very intimate. Stop by if you want some amazing ramen at a good price.

Cool little spot "very little" spacious though maybe holds 15/20 people inside? Cool vibe service is good order first then food brought to you! Food was good too! Gyozzzaaaaaa!

Very cozy ramen spot. Inside is small with exclusively counter seatings but super well-decorated. Staffs were very friendly. I enjoyed the Nest Ramen and appreciated the super generous portion but I did think their classics bone broth was a little bland for my liking. The chicken breasts were also dry but the grilled chicken was great! Would recommend going for their Miso Tonkotsu instead. The broth looks more intense and flavorful and the chashu pieces are also super big and meaty. Their bowl options were enticing as well. Overall, a nice spot for ramen, especially on a rainy day. They do get very packed though so come prepared to wait or be cozy with people.

I'm still on the hunt for good ramen in portland and tomorrow did not satisfy my cravings. the bowl was fine, I dont think i enjoyed it enough to finish it but the sake flight was really nice. I love a lil flight so, for that, I would say this is a nice spot to check out if you want to try a couple of sakes and the tofu dish my friend got was pretty solid. the staff was quick and efficient, took orders swiftly and got the food out and the interior is fairly cute so if its your vibe its definitely worth checking out but don't hype up the ramen too much

Top of the line Ramen place. Great for meat eaters or vegetarians. I recommend that you come in during slow time since the seating is limited. They have a great drink selection, options for vegetarians, and the food presentation was incredible. You order at the bar or front door so it's not table side service but you're still expected to tip which I don't agree with. Overall great spot for small group and large bowl ramen!

I waited a while to try this place, let me tell you IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! I haven't had ramen this good. You know when the food is so good you start to catch the itis. I love the whole self serve kiosk gave me enough time to make my order where I did not feel rushed. GENIUS I don't even remember what I ordered but it was so delicious. And the decor, omgg I would had photographed the entire room haha but people was staring

Awesome service and even better food. The broth was perfect and I would highly recommend the beef. Ramen comes with sides to enhance the flavor to your liking. We stopped in 30 mins before closing and the owner was great. Food comes very quickly as well. 10/10!

We always pass this little hole in the wall but it's always at the small time they are closed for break! We finally caught them after the break! We were maybe second in the door and you order on the iPad style menu when you first walk in. Easy enough, then you go and find a seat which is communal seating. The inside has an island table seating and the two walls are also seating. Definitely not a big group style unless you get there right when they open. Food was delicious and servings were LARGE. Definitely sharable plates. Service is quick but they don't really go around except to drop off the food and drinks you ordered so you have to get their attention for something. Will be back for sure :)

It may look small from the outside, but Tomo has more than enough seating! It's all communal, but you'll have more than enough room from side to side. Walking past the large table was a little difficult, and we were bumped a few times by people passing by from behind, but it really did encompass the small ramen shops like in Japan. It was cozy and lively with beautiful decor to create that traditional Japanese atmosphere. We had ramen and karaage which was wayyy more than enough for the two of us. The portions here are HUGE, probably the largest bowl of ramen you can find in Portland. Both of our ramens were delicious at first, but it does get to be a lot towards the end. The pork was really good and I love how they were thicker pieces rather than the normal, slimmer pork slices. The noodles were great consistency as well, and I love the small side toppings that came with each bowl. I added extra garlic and some chili flakes to mine!

Stumbled into Tomo Ramen on July 4th, thankful it was open. We ordered at the kiosk and dined in. Got the gyoza and Teriyaki Chicken Don and shared and it was a great lunch. The portions are fantastic, so we were able to make a lunch out of one app and one entree.

Another meant to go to one restaurant but it was unexpectedly closed so went here randomly next success story! I got the Next Shoyu which is chicken shoyu broth with a fried chicken leg, quail eggs and sliced chicken. It was wonderfully satisfying. Sake was served under a small candle to keep it warm. Squid leg kara age don was very nice. I'm a fan and will be back! Oh really interesting ambiance and vibe. It's a little crowded reminding me of Asian street market seating but not an issue unless you have a big group

The inside of the restaurant was very nice. The lighting was dim and warm. The walls were lined with with vintage Japanese art prints and movie posters and traditional Japanese elements. Their ramen was okay, nothing life changing in my opinion but still decent ramen. Their service was quick and easy, ordered on their screen.

Cozy little spot, friendly staff, reminds me of Japan. The ramen bowl we had was HUGE with so many toppings - could have definitely split one bowl between two people.

The Ramen is excellent. Your order at a kiosk in the front when you walk in. What time is usually about 20 minutes?

I searched it up, and came back later, so glad I did. I got the deluxe Ryoma ramen with shoyu broth and a hot green tea. The broth alone was incredibly delicious. While a few things stood out, the meal as a whole didn't quite hit the high marks I was hoping for. Here is how it broke down: The Starters (The Highlight): Karaage (Fried Chicken): This was easily the best part of the meal. The pieces were large, juicy, and had a great, ultra-crispy crunch on the outside. Takoyaki: Decent texture and well-presented on a long plate with plenty of bonito flakes, making it a solid appetizer to share. The Mains (A Bit Average): Spicy Ramen: The noodles had a good chew, but the broth lacked the deep, rich complexity you expect from a really stellar ramen. Even with the spicy paste mixed in, the flavor profile felt a bit flat. Chashu Don (Rice Bowl): While it was a generous portion packed with chopped chashu and minced meat, it ended up tasting a bit monotone after a few bites and could have used more balance or a punchier sauce. Overall, it's a fine spot if you want a quick, filling meal, but the flavors didn't quite wow me enough to make it a standout. Solid, but nothing mind-blowing.

There were dragon on walls, umbrellas in the ceiling, a huge full service bar. Our dishes came out within few minutes. We got the chicken skewers, chicken pho, chicken luc lac and steak rolls. We liked the small plate dishes, but the entree ones were disappointing. The chickens were chunky and dry, bland flavor. As much as we loved the vibe of the place, we didn't enjoy the food as much. I liked the curry and rice a lot. The pork had a nice texture that was fun to chew. It had some bite to it. It also felt meaty and satisfying. The rice was cooked well too. But unfortunately the bowl was super small. It's a $4 add-on to the curry that you can finish in like 3-5 spoonfulls. Maybe that's not terrible as an add-on; I dunno.
