N1. Pad Thái. Very sweet
Tom B.

First time in. Very large space I ordered the pad Thai with beef, was fine. Very sweet. Wife had the Thai fried rice with chicken. This was fine also. Paid by credit card. On the way home glanced at my email and had a receipt from the restaurant showing my bill, etc.. How the hell did they get my email address. I never offered it to them. I guess it's just proves how much of your information is available to people. Some people might find this handy. I find it very intrusive. If we ever come back, I will definitely pay with cash.

N1. Pad Thai C4. Panang Curry

We had a wonderful experience! Mek was our server and he greeted us right when we came in the restaurant. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and the Panang curry with chicken. The curry comes with white rice, which was really nice! We ordered a level two spicy and it was just right. We wanted our noses to run just a little bit while still being able to enjoy our food and level two was great. Both meals were $15 each and I found that to be really good pricing! The restaurant is huge so it can accommodate a lot of guests. I highly recommend you try this Thai restaurant!

The food was excellent. The service was great, and the portions were perfect. Also, the place was spotless. I highly recommend this place for a wide variety of Thai and Vietnamese food.

This cooked beef was spoiled! I had to spit out the piece I was chewing on!

This place seems to have only one beef pho noodle soup which is called a Super Bowl at my regular PHO restaurant Pho Hung 82nd but it's Thanksgiving Day and this place was open. I had to stop eating after taking a bite at their cooked and sliced mystery meat which was "SPOILED"! Another thing is the hot tea other restaurants give for free, this place will charge you $3 for it, and their tea tastes like plastic! You know that burning plastic smell? That's what it tastes like! This place seems to sell Chinese and Thailand foods too and haven't tried them yet but make you wonder their business ethic if they're willing to serve spoiled meat into one item on their menu, what else are they willing to do? I will not be returning to this place again!

5 stars... because this place was so much better than the expected. It's odd to find a good Thai (fusion) restaurant around this location that has actual Thai spice. This location is a hole in the wall. I found out they've only been opened for about a month, so it was definitely a silent opening. I had a few friends try this location and vouched for the good food, so I brought a group of friends (7 total) to try it with me, and they all loved it! We got many varieties of dishes that I got pictures of minus the beef noodle, pepper salted squid and pad kee mao. I did sub the noodles in the boat noodles for fresh wide rice noodles. I was ecstatic when they said yes to the option when I asked!! Every dish had so much flavor that it tasted like home made meals to me. This is something I always look forward to finding in trying a new Asian restaurant. The restaurant was empty when we arrived on a Friday night around 6:30pm and had a couple customers trickle in after us. The inside of the restaurant is very wide and open. This location is located in the plaza with a Bi-Mart and Chase bank in the corner near the road. Not the most friendliest looking plaza, but plenty of room to park in the parking lot. Although it seemed slow, the customer service is great. They're very attentive and ensures that you're taken cared of. I've been to many restaurants where it is slow and it seemed so hard to reach the servers. There's no issue with this restaurant! I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Pho with pork rinds

My first time at this location..was skeptical at first because of the location but I'm glad we gave it a try. We probably tried every local pho/asian place in the area.. this place would be up there. The price is cheaper than other locations, service was good/reasonable, and the food was good. Definitely deserves more attention! trust me! I eat pho a few times in a month.

The service was great but the chicken pad Thai was too sweet I couldn't even eat it unfortunately. I was bummed.

Our most recent curry had only about five pieces of chicken, which was surprising. I'm not sure if this is because we ordered it to-go, but either way, it didn't feel like the same value we've experienced in the past. For now, we're going to pause on returning and try some other spots in the neighborhood instead. Hopefully this is just a temporary hiccup, because the flavors are still there

In fact, a majority of dishes I see at a Thai restaurant back home weren't on the menu. And they had an odd plate of sweet and sour anything. So they have that in Thai? I ended up getting the pad Thai. It was safe for me. I wasn't so sure about this salmon curry or avocado with any curry?!? This place seems to be a mix of Chinese and some Thai cuisine. I mean it's a fusion I have never seen. Overall three stars. The food was ok and the service fine. Plenty of seating and very clean. I'm not so sure what I paid for since we were a large party but everyone left happy. They just don't know what they're missing. Evil Jungle baby.

I thought Esan Thai looked the most promising. I asked which curries could be made vegan, and was told they all could. I opted for Mussaman curry. It was ready fairly quickly. It was pretty hot when I received it, which I appreciated. The flavor was just okay. I might try a different curry the next time I'm in Troutdale.

I recently had a pretty good experience at the Esan Thai food cart with the pineapple curry with chicken. After spending several days hanging out with my cousin who is "just not a curry person," I needed to have some good curry. Ideally, Thai food is best when shared with enough people to order curry, Pad Thai, fried rice, Satay, and dessert, but, if I had to pick just one thing, it's always curry. This cart had a wide selection of all my favorite curries, including pineapple, green, red, yellow, massaman, and panaeng, so it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with pineapple. For $15, I thought the portion of curry was decent enough (about a quart), although the side of rice was only about half a cup. Still, I was able to make it work by letting the rice soak in the curry for several minutes before eating it. The fish sauce flavor was barely discernable, which is how I like it. I only really noticed it on one particular basil leaf. The chicken was perfectly cooked and marinated in the curry. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, but I just wished there was more of them. Customer service was friendly but not over the top friendly. It only took about six or seven minutes for my order to be ready. Overall this is the most legit Thai food spot I've found in the area so far, so I would definitely stop by again to try some of their other curries.
