Drunken Noodle Combo

Stopped here to check out this cool little spot We grabbed The Wings With Pineapple Fried Rice and the Drunken Noodle Combo. The Wings were good, a little dry but delicious. The Fried Rice was perfectly seasoned, and it had tomatoes in it, the first time I've ever had fried rice with tomatoes, but it was actually delicious loved the fried rice. I haven't even tasted the Drunken Noodle yet, but based off the Pineapple Fried Rice, the noodles should be excellent too Friendly staff, no parking, unfortunately, so DoorDash, Uber, Grubhub do whatever you need to do to get your hands on the Pineapple Fried Rice!

Pad Se Ew is my absolute favorite, and this was excellent! Spice level was spot on as ordered, generous portion (including the protein), great value for the $.

5 star food with excellent service - very welcoming and knows how to upsell lol…read more Food Orderd: 1. Fried Chicken Roti Combo - holy fried chicken crispy, combo comes with 1x leg and 1x thigh cut into two pieces. Curry was delicious and balance, excellent when dipped with the crispy roti or fried chicken. Pickled veggies were a great pairing and sweet and sour added another dimension. 2. Pad Thai - glistening noodles served inside an egg omelet. Very solid pad thai - sweet, sour, salty. Don't forget to add the fresh shrimp, these were cooked perfectly and plump. I recommend the restaurant should take the shrimp tail shell off for us. 3. Thai Basil Lemonade - solid lemonade, NEED more basil flavor. Overall, I'd come here again to eat and try other items as well. I'll give it a 5 star for now but more 4.5.

Popped into Hat Yai this evening for the first time and very glad we did. The food was delicious…read moreand vibe was bustling. I'll start by saying this place is definitely not big so come with the expectation that you might have to wait for a table. There's only about 8-10 tables in the place and it's definitely geared towards smaller groups. Regardless we ordered at the front and then were able to find a seat. Wound up ordering the combo to try and get a taste of everything. The portions were solid and everything was super tasty. The chicken is perfectly breaded and delicious. It's a bit of a messy meal so just come with that in mind. Have a bunch of different options that also looked tasty. Will have to come back and try again. Service was fine. They were kind and cleared the table. Water is self serve at front of the restaurant and they clearly do a fair amount of takeout. Cool local spot to definitely check out.

Incredible!! The best Thai food we have ever had. To be fair, I haven't been to Thailand yet, but I…read morehave tried a variety of Thai places across the U.S. This was amazing and I will definitely make a special stop here next time I am in Portland. Service was efficient on a weekday for lunch. I was very impressed that the woman serving us also cooks. She said she has one other person helping her over the weekend. The food was SO DELICIOUS. This was the best pad Thai we had with such depth of flavor - not too sweet or oily, just perfect. We also had the pad kra pao, eggplant and tom kha. The tom kha had good flavor and with a thinner broth that I'm used to which was fabulous. The eggplant was so delicious - the consistency was incredible. Not too soggy, just right. I also tried the mango sticky rice. For drinks we had the Thai lemon tea which tasted like Thai iced tea without the milk and lemon added - delightful! We even bought an extra dish to take with us to go. Amazing place. Ambiance is casual. I can't wait to return.

We had an awesome experience at Zaap! We went at an odd hour but they were ready and on their game!…read moreSuper friendly service and we had a tall beer in no time. The egg rolls were really good, so was the Duck Curry, but the fried rice stole the show. Something so simple packed with so much flavor. Very laid back vibe, with a bit of a dark subtle decor that allows for a solid date spot as well.
