    Yakisoba noodles
    Robert K.

9/17/17 Came in again for my yakisoba noodles fix. They always have nice hot food here and it's normally delicious. However this time it seemed to have a weird taste to it. I think the cabbage might have been bad. It's tasted as if was spoiled cabbage or something in the food was off. Maybe it was the teriyaki sauce that I put on it. It might have been bad as I wonder how long it had been sitting on the table. Today the free egg drop soup was especially good. Maybe just an off day but I will come back on another month of so. This is my go to place for good teriyaki food. I always get the yakisoba noodles. Today I found out you get a free bowl of soup when your place an order to eat it there. Always good and always hot. I have been coming here once a month for the past year. When I wanna get my teriyaki on this is the place I go to. The lady at the counter is super sweet too. The food is always good and delicious with fresh veggies too. No wonder this place is always busy. I will always come back here. Check it out for yourself. This is the rea

This teriyaki establishment is near my home in the Orchards area of Vancouver, WA. Besides being very convenient the food is always delicious. As you walk in you can't help but notice that it is always clean and well kept. There is plenty of seating. Tables can be joined to accommodate large groups. The staff here is always friendly and inviting. Any special requests are eagerly accommodated. After placing your order, don't forget to help yourself to a complimentary cup of Egg flour soup. The food is always brought out quickly and before you finish your soup. I ordered the Chicken and Pork Teriyaki with Gyoza combo. My wife replaced the pork with beef. The dish is served with a small salad. The food was out quickly and it was delicious. The pork and beef was on point. Overall, a great meal.

Great little spot. Portions are huge. Free soup. I can't say much else. My kid loved it.

I don't usually like teriyaki, but this place is AMAZING. Had the Beef Teriyaki. Outstanding. The sauce they serve with it is great too. Between the huge serving of beef, the rice, salad, and free Egg Flower soup, it was more than one person could eat. And, I was super hungry. Overall, a very good value. Under 10 bucks. Place was neat, and clean. If you're looking for friendly service, probably not the place for you. The lady taking the order was super busy and all business. Almost to the point of unfriendly. She greets guests, takes their orders, serves the food, grabs empty plates, AND cleans. All on her own. So don't expect to be treated like the "1%" here. I been coming here in the past 3 years. Have never had a bad experience with them. I prefer take out though, because at seemingly random times the place will just fill up with people quickly. Call ahead, and pick up later. Usually it takes 10 15 mins.

Thank you so much for staying open for me to grab dinner! Your food was delicious and your customer service was top notch! Just so that everyone knows, they were locking their doors and told me they were closing. I went out and sat in my car contemplating on where I wanted to go eat, the lady then came out and ask me what I wanted. Gave her my order and said we can get that going for you right now. Obviously she got a fat tip 6-18-20

The restaurant is clean and the staff is super friendly, but the test was the food. I wasn't let down at all by the yakisoba I ordered. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was very good nonetheless. I also appreciated the appearance of the restaurant it was very welcoming. The staff cleans up quickly after customers leave and there was a sense that they too pride in their establishment. The food selections is what you would expect consisting of teryaki dishes with both rice and noodles.

Summing up this place in three words: Too Much Salt I like salt. It's probably negatively contributing to my blood pressure. Still... Too Much Salt. There are some good things though. I came in for lunch and food was delivered very quickly. I didn't even make it through a cup of Egg Flower Soup (free if you dine in) before my lunch arrived. The Teriyaki Chicken and Gyoza combo was a generous portion. I was able to save half for lunch the next day. However, back to the salt issue. The gyoza was too salty, the sauce for the gyoza was too salty, and the teriyaki chicken was too salty. Also, the salad add too much dressing on it. Worth a try...maybe it will be less salty for you.

Meals have gotten smaller and prices got larger. The Mongolian chicken was good but the teriyaki chicken was lacking flavor.

The Godzilla roll definitely lives up to its name, it's huge. I'm not usually someone who prefers fried sushi, but this one was actually pretty good: crispy on the outside, flavorful, and filling enough to share. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mango roll. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but the sweetness worked really well and made it feel lighter and more refreshing than I anticipated. The White Tiger roll was another favorite! yummy, well-balanced, and easy to enjoy. One small thing I wish they did differently is I would love to see separate servings of ginger for each roll. Sometimes when you order multiple rolls, the ginger gets squished into one tiny container and split between three rolls, which isn't ideal if you like to cleanse your palate between bites. Also wish they had more raw options than just crab options. Overall, the sushi is good, portions are generous, and it's a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. A solid option if you're in Vancouver and in the mood for a quick bite of sushi.

The downtown places can be hit-or-miss so we thought we'd try something new. We stumbled upon Hokkaido on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Greeted immediately, friendly staff, nice ambiance, no complaints there. 4-stars simply comes from the lack of a bar. Good sushi deserves a good martini. That part was super disappointing for me. The Tempura Veggies, Tempura Shrimp, and Sushi was all lovely. Freshly cooked / prepared and served promptly. Price was on-point and the overall experience was great. We'd be regulars if they had a full bar. If you live nearby and can tolerate dinner without a martini, give Hokkaido a try - it's worth it!

I've been trying sushi within the area and this is my favorite restaurant so far. As soon as we stepped in around 4pm on a Saturday, we were greeted and seated right away. We only ordered sushi, but they have many other options for those not a fan of sushi. Honestly, I'm use to waiting for sushi to be made when a restaurant has multiple types of food on the menu, but we got our sushi made around 5 minutes. And everything was so fresh!! Amazed by the time and super happy with the food lol The service is great. Each person that stopped by our table were super nice and efficient. I would say we got seated, ordered, received our food, ate and checked out under 25 minutes. My partner and I love dining in restaurants, but we also love when we can be in and out. This isn't very common in non-conveyor belt restaurants. The restaurant itself is Japanese themed and feels authentic. It's a smaller restaurant but they have a covered patio to seat more guests. Overall, I was super impressed and can see why their ratings are so high. I hope to be back soon.

Tons of chicken, hearty noodles, and plenty of mushrooms. It was comforting, flavorful, and perfect for taking leftovers home. The rose matcha latte with boba was the surprise star though. Prices are reasonable, especially now, with how many restaurants are price gouging. One little thing: the soy sauce they use is really great quality and tastes so much better than what we've had before....need to ask the brand next time.
