    Crunch Munch Roll
    Asha B.

A Sushi-Fueled Saturday Success! We walked in on a chill Saturday afternoon--party of four--and scored front-row parking like sushi royalty. No wait, no fuss. Service? Super speedy and genuinely kind. A+ hospitality. Let's talk food (aka the stars of the show): Caterpillar Roll - Fresh, light, and beautifully presented. The kind of roll that makes you feel like you're eating healthy... even if you follow it with fried gyoza. Spider Roll - Crispy? Yes. Flavorful? Yes. But the flavors blended into each other a bit too much--more "symphony" than "solo act." Still enjoyable, just not a standout. Clam Miso Soup - A delightful surprise! Big, juicy clams swimming in a savory miso bath. A must-try if you're into seafood. Regular Miso Soup - Classic, comforting, no complaints. Fried Gyoza - Golden, crispy, and flavorful. Honestly, I could eat a whole plate solo and call it a day. Shrimp Tempura - Massive, crunchy, and satisfying. You'll want to share... but you won't want to. Seahawk Roll (aka Volcano Roll?) - Came in HOT (temperature-wise and vibe-wise). Bold flavors and satisfying heat. Crunch Munch Roll - Smoked salmon + shrimp = interesting combo. Tasty, but the smoked salmon kind of hogged the spotlight. Final thoughts: Everything looked great, tasted fresh, and came out quickly. A few rolls were more memorable than others, but overall it was a win. We'd definitely return for another round--especially that clam miso soup and shrimp tempura!

This is my go to order. Agedashi & the sweet and spicy edimame. I've been here several times and the freshness of sushi has always remained consistent. We live in Portland, OR but choose to go to Vancouver, WA as this is my sons favorite sushi restaurant as he is a "sushi connoisseur." The service is always stellar & the atmosphere very calming.

    Citrus mayo was delicious!

Second time here and they have a great menu to choose from. Ordered the jack in the box with real crab, loved the citrus mayo! Staff stopped by frequently. Would come again!

Eel Nigiri, Yellowtail, Toto, Octopus, and Tuna. And they have Nigori Sparkling Sake now! Yum!

Amazing as always. And new Sake choices for 2026! Great service as well. Highly recommended.

Back at our favorite sushi place! :) The food was fresh and delicious as usual, and the presentation made it even more appetizing! We came with our six months old baby, and the server gave us spacious seating so that we had enough room to place our stroller by us. He checked up on us several times to made sure we were comfortable.

Sushi Mo brings it every time! Best sushi in Vancouver. The fresh wasabi, presentation, and spaced seating brings me back every time. There's also plenty of natural lighting as well. Moderately priced for amazing quality, especially for the simple rolls. Lots of sake options, cider on tap, and Sapporo is served in a chilled glass. Service is non intrusive and anticipates needs before they appear! I appreciate the respectful nature the staff. The paradise roll and agedashi tofu are my top recommendations.

(Left to right) Jack in the box, Vancouver and creamy oyster..not so creamy

Yall lied to me on these reviews! This was NOT good. We even tried the sake and it was so bitter that it tasted like hand sanitizer.. We ordered the Vancouver, jack in the box, and the creamy scallop sushi. It was so BAD. The only okay one was the jack in the box. The "creamy scallop" was not creamy and was drenched in taptio hot sauce and the scallops were so over cooked that it was like dehydrated chicken. The Vancouver and Jack in the box were lacking actual sushi on top or in it. The rolls presentations were good but still, won't go back to try again. The place was cute inside and waiter was so nice! But had to leave an honest review. They wouldn't refund the "creamy scallop" one but had us pick another one so we picked "monkey crunch munch" and it was supposed to be smoked salmon, but it was smoked salmon from a package. Not an actual seared smoked salmon flavor. We spent $100 with tip and it was not worth it. Vancouver just seems to be missing the mark with food.

    What fresh wasabi should be

The pictures on Yelp are accurate. Lots of unnecessary flourishes that detract from the taste. The yellow sauce drizzle is a citrus aioli but instead of elevating the dish, it managed to make every bite just taste bland. The sauce was dyed yellow and had so little notes of citrus that we asked the waitress if it was correct. We ordered the "fresh wasabi". I've provided a picture below of what we got (chopped frozen wasabi from a tube) and what fresh ground wasabi is. Probably should have realized that it wasn't going to be fresh at that price point but still felt a little disingenuous. Note the color of the spicy tuna. The only thing I can guess is red food coloring to "make it pop". The service was great. The hostess and waitress were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the softballs like tempura and the spicy edamame. But for the cost, I'd unfortunately recommend trying a different place.

Went here for lunch, I've only don't take out but I finally had the chance to dine in. We had one of the eel rolls and the katsu. The katsu was incredibly crispy and delicious, it was served with a ton katsu sauce, which is on the sweet side I would prefer a bit more spice. It said it came with steamed vegetables which consisted of 2 pieces of broccoli and 2 small pieces of carrot, miso soup and salad (which we did not receive) I feel it could have had some more for the price. The roll was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Their rolls are pricey, but high quality. The space is nice and big and service was great. I will definitely be back, mostly due to location, speedy service and high quality.

$18 toro nigiri - partially frozen
    Autumn A.

Came here for lunch this past weekend. They were having a lunch happy hour which was 20% off rolls. Their prices are pretty steep so it ended up being the cost of normal sushi. Ordered the 1012 and the salmon tataki rolls along with an order of toro nigiri. Both the rolls were OK, one of them had a mustard like sauce that wasn't described on the menu, it was all over the roll and I think it took away from the flavors. For the price I thought there would be a decent amount of fish on each roll but the piece barley covered the top, didn't fold over the sides and was very thin. The toro was good, $18 for 2 pieces of nigiri which was a lot but I get that it's a sought after fish.. the presentation was great but unfortunately the fish we were served was borderline frozen. I felt the ice crunching in my mouth, the flavor was good once it warmed up but it was a letdown that it was icy.

Starting at top left: Volcano, Wild Fire, Albacore Tataki, and Hawaiian rolls.

Outstanding! Nice ambiance, FAST friendly service, and delicious sushi very artisically presented. Only thing that was a turn-off was to find a $2 charge on our check for a tiny ramekin of a Sriracha-type of hot sauce. ‍

The sushi was good - we liked the rolls we got! Asparagus roll had 5 or 6 pieces in there instead of just one. The simple tuna roll was good but a little large and clunky. The hibatchi chicken had that nice maillard crust on it and the flavor was good. Chicken may have been dethawed in the microwave prior to cooking as it had a bit of a springy / rubbery interior. The price was good and the servers were nice even though they didn't seem super informed on the menu even though they had worked there a few months.
