I got nail fungus from their unsanitary place

I had gotten the #3 pedicure service. Everything was great! My nail tech did such a great job and was very polite. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing which as a mom I desperately needed . Overall the whole experience was 10/10 I will be coming back for sure!

If u want your nails to brake within a week this is the place the go. Within a week I had 4 nails break in half just doing simple tasks. When I went back and got them fixed he fixed them free of charge, which i appreciate but then within a week two more have broken. They do them to thin.

Vy did my nails and he did an amazing job as always. The place is welcoming and comfortable. If you're looking for a new nail place I fully recommend here.

I absolutely love this manicure! The ladies were so friendly- the shop was clean. I will definitely be back! I was able to walk right in. They offered champagne or water. Such a pleasant experience. I didn't take a pic of my toes, but they were also very well done. 10/10. read more

The girl I had been going to for manicures & pedicures for 9 years sold her business so I needed to find a new spot... That's how I discovered unique salon. And wow! Was I impressed.. I had my dip manicure done by Vy and my pedicure done by his lovely wife.. They both did the most amazing work, that looks absolutely beautiful. I am so happy. First off, let me say that I've been getting gel manicures and pedicures for many years. I decided to give my nails a break from acrylic and gel polishes. I went here to have my acrylic nails removed and get a regular mani and pedi. The nail tech had me place my fingers in what I believe to be 100% acetone to soften the acrylic nails. After removing my fingers from the acetone the technician proceeded to wipe off the remaining acrylic and then do my manicure. I had to ask her to let me wash my hands because my fingers were stinging a bit, the acetone was drying white on my fingers and the smell was strong. The finished product looked good until a day or so later when the skin on my fingers was dry and peeling, so the acetone literally burned off a layer of my skin!! I wish they would have taken care to ensure that there was only enough acetone to cover the tips of my fingers, where the nails are, duh, and not have it where my most of my fingers were in the acetone. My plan was to start doing my own nails anyway, so it's definitely one and done for me at Unique Salon. read more

I rarely right reviews, but I wanted to take the time to note my positive experience at Unique Salon. First of all, they were immediately ready to take me for my manicure and pedicure appointment. Kathy even had the water running for the pedicure as I walked in. For the 5 minute massage, she used this adorable duck timer to ensure I got the full 5 minutes (I've never seen that). For my gel manicure, Alex did some intricate designs on every nail for a very reasonable price. After being charged $15 for VERY simple designs on 2 fingers in Moreno Valley I was impressed and grateful. They earned the position as my go-to salon. I hope they remain as good for long .I'm starting to feel like if you want good service you should go to a shop where the owners are the techs. The 5 minute massage was more of a rub, but me mentioning that is just being me being particular bc I'm a perfectionist lol read more

sense Brian left I was trying to stay loyal but I go in the morning she can't do my nails she says come back at 3 it's like 4 hrs from now I go in the early evening she says I have no openings I spend 70$ and up every time I go in, now they only do older white ladies now I would not go here service use to be good and they were loyal now nothing why stay open read more

Overall, it was a good experience. The nail tech still took me even though I was a little late to my appointment. Some pros: - They accept credit card payments without an added fee, plus you can tip with your card too - Great customer service - They had a playlist of 90s/early 2000s music videos playing which is always fun - They had a lot of color options, even for regular polish - Massage for manicure and pedicure was really good Some cons: - Cleanliness was questionable. It didn't seem like the cleanest salon. The towels that were used had nail polish on them. - Small salon, so not great if you and a few girlfriends wanted to go together read more

I honestly would not recommend this salon. Although they were very nice I did not like my services at all. I have been getting dip nails for several years now and it felt like she wasn't sure how to remove the dip bc she ended up filling my nails super super thin to the point that the drill started to burn my nail. I also asked for a coffin shape but she only made it square. I also felt that the color didn't come out even. Also the worst part is my nail chipped today and it hasn't even been a week which is extremely disappointing. In terms of my pedicure I HATED that the lady dug in my toenails for sooooo long it started to get painful and uncomfortable. also they literally took a lemon and rubbed it on my leg it was very strange. again I thought they were really nice but in terms of the actual service it was not good or up to my standard. I would not go back. read more

This is a nice place to get your nails done. The pricing is fair. I got acrylics with gel and chromatic nails. My nail tech explained the prices before paying. It was $45 for acrylics +$5 for gel and +$5 for chrome. The lady asked if I had a photo reference (and I did!) and she was able to recreate it. I didn't give the place 5 stars because after my pedicure, I got an ingrown nail. But I still loved the polish and the service. I don't usually get pedicures but I will definitely come back for a manicure read more

I have been going to this location for 20+ years with my sisters and mom. I have had multiple hit…read moreand misses but today after I got my eyebrows done, I felt a burning sensation on both of my eyes. After seeing some burns from the wax, I told the girl in the front that I had burns on my eyebrows that were not there earlier. I never got a sorry, but instead "would you like to pay with cash or card". After paying for my service and even tipped the waxer, I asked to speak with the owner. I left my number and received a call from the owner, Kary. She asked me to send pictures of the issue. She told me that I had sun burns on my face and sled if I went to the beach. She continued to tell me that it does not look like there was any burns. When I told her that I did not go to the beach, or have sunburns, she continued to tell me that I had. I told her that I would not be returning and just post my experience. She said that she will just post my pictures that I sent her in response. I asked her to delete MY photos that I took on my personal phone and sent her in confidence, she continued to refuse and said "it's my proof". She continued to refuse to delete the photos and said that her employees said I have caused problems before. I only come here in a blue moon when I'm in the area and have never had an issue. Just don't waste your time and avoid at all cost. It seems like new ownership does not care about the experience.

I personally don't want my hair to my butt and they have 32 inch hair which works out to 16in when braided. They also have bundles available. I think they are priced a bit high, ~$50 however in terms of the braiding hair, I think the pricing is on spot averaging six or seven dollars for a pack. Service was nonexistent so even though I knew exactly what I wanted, there was no one available to help.
