Second time I come place and they always tell me they can't do my pedicure or full set

Salon is typical. Nothing to write home about and could use bedazzling, but I don't care esthetics nearly as much as I care about the service I came for. They do a great job and the work lasts long. read more

I only came for a gel removal, she said $15 which sounded very high. I look at the price sheet while she's doing the service and it's says $5 so I'm already irritated. Then I said I don't want a file off so she pours a big pan of acetone to soak my nails into. My fingers are literally shaking because of the acetone so I just tell her nevermind and to do the drill. She missed quite a few spots. At the end I told how outrageous the price gouging is and she defends it by saying it was the acetone, when that was before even the acetone. She also says because of the time mind you I was there for maybe 15 minutes tops!! Then no one wants to cash me out and everyone's working on some one nails, I should have walked out but I didn't want them to do something funny. NEVER GOING AGAIN! Very rude read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I'm so disappointed. I went to get a fill in and cuticle cleaning. I also wanted periwinkle French tip. As soon as I let the lady know she told me it's 65$. She starts the process and once she's done pretty much tells me she doesn't have the color I asked for. I asked if she can mix violate and earth blue. She said no pick another color because she's not comfortable doing that. I said I can mix it she still said no. I ended up not getting my nails done. It's disappointing because I've gone here before. This is how I left with my nails OH and also. They use the same powder for everyone that's unsanitary. Anyways what I ask for vs. what I got. I even showed her the colors and numbers we could mix. She said no still. It's crazy to be so quick to give a price but so underserving. I literally paid extra for a fill cuticle clean and French tip. I was visiting my niece in between her classes and we decided to get pedicures together. ND Nails & Spa was one of the best rated nail salons by UC Riverside, so we decided to come here. We were honestly having such a stressful day so we needed some pampering and that was exactly what we got and more. The ladies working here were so sweet and friendly. We love them! They welcomed us in and started the spa pedicure chairs while we selected our colors. My niece picked white and I picked black. My cute niece got the Signature Pedicure ($32) which includes the typical nail trim, shape, cuticle grooming, buffering and light massage with the addition of the sugar scrub and callus remover. My poor baby is walking around that huge campus all day her feet deserve the pampering. Also the sugar scrub will allow for a better closer leg shave for her glorious weekend plans. I got the Reflexology Pedicure ($47) which includes everything above and a paraffin treatment and an additional 10 minute massage treatment. I was sooooo stressed before coming here and I felt completely better after. It was so enjoyable to have the warm paraffin treatment to help with my aching feet and improve circulation. It is also amazing for my skin. What I love love love the most was how sweet the lady was with my niece. My niece had a few scars from mosquito bites since we both happen to be O+ and the bugs find us sweet. After the pedicure, the lady went and got Neosporin and applied it for my niece. came in here for a simple fill and manicure and was told a set price, from the start the staff was very rude and had an attitude, they cut me and the work was mediocre at best, and to top it off, they up charge me for a set at the end when u asked for a fill. I love this place....my toes always look amazing when I leave here. I used to be able to just walk in on a spur of the moment trip, but they are by appointment only now. Not much of a big deal, but now I have to plan to come here, instead of being a walk in, like I normally was. They still honored my stamp card, which I was afraid they wouldn't, because they had been closed for so long. No reason why they should have, but you still never know, especially with businessed losing so much money during the pandemic. Only 2 pedicure chairs open and 1 nail station, so i see the need for an appointment. No more picking out your nail polish on the wall...you now have to pick from a plastic display and the majority of the colors are gel. I don't put gel on my toes, so my color choicr was very limited, from the regular polish selection.....which I get it, since gel is more in demand now. Came here while out visiting a friend in Riverside. This is a delayed review. My gf and I decided we wanted to get our nails done totally last minute. Being that Riverside is cheaper all around than beach cities, we knew we were going to get a great deal. I'm simple. Got the gel nails in a natural color while my friend got something festive--bright red--and the callous removal. It was a nice experience. We were the only ones in the shop late in the evening. I'm not familiar with the area but something tells me we may not have been in the best place in town when the nail techs had their door locked during business hours. I was able to pay via Venmo. Simple enough. This was my first gel nail experience. Probably wouldn't do it again tho. I now prefer dipped nails. Lol. Received one of those frequent customer cards where they mark for each visit. I've come here a few times for pedicures but this last time (a few weeks ago) the nail tech was digging into the side of my big toe nails. As she was doing it, it was painful and I even audibly let out a noise from the pain. I didn't think too much into it, but two days later (the day I leave for vacation) I see that both of my big toes are swollen and red on the inner sides where she ripped out/cut the sides of my nails. The left one wasn't as severe but my right toe was painfully red and swollen my entire vacation. Even now, (almost an entire 3 weeks later) my toe is still red and swollen on the entire side of the nail and at this point I think I have to make a doctors appointment. I came in about two weeks to get a pedicure. The experience in the beginning was great. When the lady started to clean my nails she started to dig a little too deep. There was a few times I pulled my feet back and that was the end of that. Later that day I went home and my toes were hurting pretty bad. By the end of the day I realized she had cut me on both toes from digging too hard. So I decided to soak my feet in an epson salt water bath to try to relieve any pain or possible infection. Fast forward to now I'll be go to urgent care because one of my toes are still hurting and possibly an infection. The nails are nice but just a bit upset because now I might end up on antibiotics (I'll know tomorrow for sure) and i'm also breast-feeding so then there is now that to always worry about. I wouldn't say not to go here but I would just let them know not to dig so deep to avoid the situation I'm in. read more

They typically only book by appointment only; however, I was a walk-in on my lunch break and they not only were able to accommodate me; but Julie also finished my fill and gel polish change so quickly that I was able to get back to work before my hour break was over! After reaching out and requesting an appointment for a gel pedicure on Yelp, I was asked to reach out via text to an employee. She said she would get back to me when she was at work. I waited a week before reaching out again and was offered a same day appointment. I arrived and was asked to wait while she set up the spa. Everyone wants a clean nail salon to avoid infections. It seemed clean until I saw her bring a tray with tools that I could not verify were sanitized and clean. By the end of the pedicure, I can guess with a 90% certainty that they probably were not clean as she used a previously used paper towel to separate my toes for the paint portion of the service. She never turned on the massage chair or gave me the remote. When she attempted to remove calluses and dry skin with the pumice stone, she left scratches on the side of my foot that are still uncomfortable. I asked for a gel pedicure but got a regular (as she called it) which made it hard to drive home. I was never given a price sheet with options. Sadly, one of the worst pedicures I've had. First of all I showed up at 10am to get my full set and no one was there. Someone shows up at 10:20 and then doesn't start on my nails till around 10:30 then stops midway through to tell me someone else is coming in. I told her I had work and she still procedes to tell me that someone is coming. I had no time for a color just enough to put the nails on and of course on my way to opening the door to my Car , a nail breaks off. As I was getting the shape done, one of the nail techs cut my finger with the scissors. She was trying to put crazy glue on it when I repeatedly kept asking to wash it off since I couldn't stop bleeding. I don't know if she didn't plan on telling anyone, but it was until I got up that the other nail techs asked what had happened. The cut was deep & I couldn't stop bleeding. Paid extra for gel and ended up with a terrible pedicure. My friend and I walked in, were greeted, and soon scolded by one of the employees who appeared to be in a terrible mood. I chose a color and the lady doing my nails grabbed a musty green color and I hadn't noticed until after she had done one of my feet. I asked if she could change it to white and apologized because I wasn't sure if I was the one who messed up. She started going off on me about how hard it was to remove color and her mood after that was terrible and unprofessional. I'm unsatisfied with the thickness of the polish; she did about four coats since it appeared to be of low quality. I really wish I could've gotten and maybe gotten them fixed elsewhere. read more
