Original review: After researching nail salons for a couple of weeks, I decided to book with The Nail Salon. I scheduled my appointment through text and was asked to send a $20 deposit through Zelle, which I did during our conversation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told I didn't actually have one scheduled. I showed the text messages and proof of the deposit transaction. She explained that because I didn't specifically tell her the payment had been sent, she didn't realize the deposit was from me and never added me to the schedule. At that point, I probably should have left, but since they weren't busy and I had already paid the deposit, I decided to continue with the appointment. The pedicure was honestly very relaxing, and the massage portion was excellent. Unfortunately, the manicure experience was much different. I requested a full set, showed a couple of inspiration photos, and trusted the tech to choose the best products. During the application process, I noticed the nails were crooked and mentioned it. I was told they would be fixed, but the final result still looked uneven and nothing like the inspiration photos. What made the experience more uncomfortable was that multiple times during the manicure, the misunderstanding about the appointment was brought up and framed as entirely my fault, with no acknowledgment of the communication issue on both sides. I'm admittedly not someone who likes confrontation, so after bringing up the crooked nails once, I stayed quiet, paid, tipped, and left. I left disappointed because I had really hoped to find a salon I could return to regularly. The pedicure itself was great, but between the appointment confusion, the interaction during the service, and the quality of the manicure, I unfortunately won't be returning. I'll now need to pay another nail tech to correct the set. read more

I've been here twice now and both times were honestly amazing. I got a Gel X full set and a pedicure, and everything came out so clean and perfect. You can really tell they care about their work and take their time to make sure everything looks good. The surface felt very personable, genuine and everything was so clean and professional, which made me feel very comfortable!!! I'll 100% be coming back again!! Staff were really friendly and nice. Atmosphere really nice and cute. However, I did not like my pedicure at all. My cuticles were drowned in polish and the corners of my nails were left unpainted. I paid $55 for a poorly done pedicure. This was the only service I got done there, so I can't speak for manicures/full sets. read more

This was my first time stopping by this nail shop. I was looking around for a nail shop in Riverside and this nail studio came up and had excellent reviews. I called and was assisted by John and he was able to service my husband and i today for two pedicures and a gel manicure. From answering the phone to coming to the shop, John had been very kind and had great customer service. He made sure i was comfortable and everything was good throughout the service. My manicure and both pedicures were excellent between him and the other lady (I believe her name is Nini or Mimi?), nonetheless, she was sweet and kind, did a great pedicure as well. Services are by appointment only, but it was great because we didn't feel rushed and felt that we were able to be well taken care of within our appointment. 10 out of 10 service, we will definitely be coming back. read more

I was really disappointed with my pedicure. It was an older lady that did my nails and I have never gotten a pedicure that was painful! Not only that, the nail polish on my toes had bubbles and it was just a very poor job. I finally asked the person who did my manicure (who did a much better job) to fix it for me.
