I went to Dalena's Nail & spa to get my pedicure and manicure before a vacation trip. I had 2 different nail technicians working one on my hands, one on my feet, In the middle of the process the lady working on my hands, cut me on my pinky :,( Too bad for me, right? She didn't even apologize for her carelessness. I kept bleeding and she kept working, she paint my nails on top of my own blood. Not nice. The lady working on my feet did a better job, but still their demeanor is not the best, probably I'm asking for too much. Idk. But nice manners and a bit of conversation would be cool. Went in to get a full set. Asked for square and french tip and they came out too fat, not narrow at all. They look like duck nails. The lady was super rough and cut me while cutting my cuticles, didn't even care. They also burnt my mom's eyebrow while waxing them. Will not be coming back. Who hurt you, Dalena's Nail Spa? I had thought I found a hidden gem when I found you a few months back, but now I see you're just like the others. It truly is very hard to find a good nail salon -- especially during a pandemic. This place was decently priced and I was here only a few months ago for a $35 dip. I came in to have a pedicure and dip powder and was told that the dip powder was $45. I thought that was crazy, but I have a wedding this weekend and figured I'd pay it anyway. What I found interesting is my nail tech did the most to talk me out of it! When does this happen?? She said the gel manicure was much cheaper which I thought was weird to talk me out of an upsell, but I begrudgingly said okay. After some time, I realized my nail tech was rushing through and presumably wanted to be off on time at 7pm since she still tried to upsell me on other services. I understand wanting to be off on time, but why accept my 5:30 appointment if the services requested will be rushed? It was really disappointing. Additionally, I wanted a nude or cream color to match my dress for a wedding. The variety was another disappointment. I could've sworn there were more nails to choose from the last time I visited, but I tried to make a selection from the choices given. The "nudes" the nail tech suggested were not nude at all! They were pink or mauve. After trying three different colors on my nail, I opted for white since the nail tech was visibly frustrated with me. I don't like being a hassle and just did the white color like the nail tech previously suggested. I didn't like the color at all, but I just let it go. Next came my manicure and another let down. I had two broken fingernails and notified my nail tech. She agreed to fix them with dip and charged me $7 which was fine. Upon completion, I disclosed that I had another nail which was broken and the nail tech glared at me and said, "why didn't you tell me sooner?!" I couldn't believe her tone. I told her it was fine and that I didn't need it fixed even though I really wanted all my nails the same length. She also continued to make inconsiderate remarks about my nails. I had recently painted my room so my nails needed some TLC, hence, the nail visit. She proceeded to be extremely rude throughout my manicure and I stopped trying to make polite conversation altogether. Once my nails were dry, I tipped her, paid and made a note not to come back again. Nails are a service. Customer service is important. I'm so disappointed with this place. My family has been coming here for years and it's stayed the same. The same people have been working here since I was a little girl! This is the only place I will get my nails done comfortably without worrying about infections and such. Lisa is amazing and probably one of my favorite people here. She is so sweet and always caters to your needs. Victor is also really nice and great with the nails! The quality of their work is really worth the price and beats other places. The acrylics last a while and the colors never chip/fade. If you are debating whether or not to come here, just do it. Prices are decent but the service is great. :) read more

I had such a great experience and I was truly so relaxed. Diana and Lisa double teamed my mani pedi and I got massages from both which was a bonus! Let me start off by saying I like my pedicure done by Justine. She's very meticulous. My manicure (gel) was done by another girl. It was a botched job. Uneven , blurred tips, mediocre. I wish Justine did my mani too. This is my first time here, mixed feelings about coming back. I was pretty upset after I had left. Ended up calling them and asking if they could redo my gel manicure. The kind man who answered said yes. I came back and they fixed it. Justine graciously and professionally re-did it without any attitude. She has been pleasant. Customer service is superb. Tom did a great job. It took long but I didn't mind because he was very detailed and I could tell he was proud of his technique. He cleaned each nail after the polish job and didn't rush it at all. I got my eyebrows done too and they were perfect. Pedicure was great too. Only took 1 star off because I thought it was weird that I had to pay $5 to get my feet scrubbed. Isn't that a part of the experience ? Next time I come in I will definitely book an appt. instead of walking in. I have a really important event in Las Vegas this weekend, and I really wanted my hands to look beautiful. That's not what I got here. The nail technician was more focused on bashing the person who did my nails previously (and I loved their work) than focusing on giving me a flawless nail application. The technician cut my finger so deep and applied a lotion to it promising that it will heal. My nails are extremely thick and have many bubbles on them.
