I decided to give Vivid Nails & Spa today after going to a different nail salon for 8 years & was NOT disappointed! Needless to say they gained a NEW customer! Upon entering the receptionist was welcoming & very informative with services. While getting my nails done they offered a complimentary drink & it was absolutely amazing! I went with the Vietnamese hot coffee & IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! To top it off they put in on top of a warmer so my coffee stayed hot the entire time! The level of unprofessionalism I have received is just so uncalled for. This is a long one, so I received a 10% off coupon for my birthday which was perfect because I had a wedding to attend so I needed a pedicure, I have been here many times I've never had this experience as they have always been very friendly and on point with their services so it was never a question about where I was going to go. I went it and wasn't greeted I stood there for a bit before they approached me, I asked for pedicure I was sat down and I told them the service I wanted which was the CBD one which is about $88 with card which is the one I always get because they do hot stones, a 20 minute foot massage and scrubbing with hot wax. At first everything was going well until it came to the foot scrub, the lady only scrubbed the bottom of my feet I thought she was guna do the top last so I waited she then proceeded to drain the water so I told her she had forgotten to scrub my toes and top of the feet so she went back and quickly did it still leaving dead skin on, she moved on to the other services I told her I wanted a French tip. I sat there and let her do her thing she then began rubbing my feet which was horrible there was zero effort very lightly more as caressing rather then a massage, she then went on to the hot stones which she rubbed once on each side of my leg then put them away. She didn't finish the 20 minutes before she stopped and started drying off my legs with a towel. When everything was finished I looked and my toes were completely wrong the French tip was different, a piece of my nail was sticking out, the gel was bumpy. I went to the front to pay for the service and they asked me how it went I said I was unsatisfied with the way they came out I showed the polish and the piece of my nail that was sticking out. At first the lady up front tried to fix it but still wasn't able to I however had to leave because I was heading out of town which I said I had to go. She then told the lady who did my nails and comes back saying the lady told her I had a chip in my nail which is why the polish shape was off, she asked me if that was true as if I was lying about something or it was my fault. I paid and left they had texted me to which I left a review fully explaining what had happened. They then blew up my phone which I was at wedding, I then received a text which I posted below stating I could go in for a redo or get a refund, I declined the service because I had already gotten my nails redone when I went out of town so I asked for a refund. They then tried to offer me a $43 voucher to which I declined and then again asked for a refund, they then offered me a $43 dollar refund however they were also taking off the full 10% which only was going to be a $38 refund. I said no that was unacceptable as I was only getting a partial refund so adding the full 10% off was not okay. They then stated that was their policy. At this point I was done with the conversation as they were being rude and blaming me. I then let them know I would just be contacting my bank to dispute it through them. They then told me to go ahead and that the bank would contact them and they would let them know my services. I did not respond at that point then I received another message saying that the boss would not be arguing with me over 10% and that I could come in and get my $43 via cash. Again I did not respond. My services were $90 and the level of disrespect is so disheartening. I've come here many times I've spoke nothing less than highly of them and the treatment I have received over this. I will never be coming back here. They are nice people until something is done wrong then they flip and start being so rude and blaming the customer. read more

I was a loyal customer to another shop for years but they closed down shortly after Covid & this place meets my last place's standards. The nails look pretty good, I think next visit they'll be even better as the techs learn my style & preferences. If you pay credit card / debit you are up charged a few dollars more. The prices are very transparent & made clear to you. They have signs everywhere about that & it's on their little menus. I'll start with the pros: This nail spa was very accommodating. We made an appt for three Mani pedis and one kids Mani pedis. Everything looked clean inside. They offered drinks and a snack to everyone who was getting serviced. They even gave my 4yr old one even though he wasn't getting anything. They were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only ones in the entire nail place. I didn't really know what design I wanted but I wanted to try gel-x. It was super hard to communicate with the female owner. She wasn't understanding that I wanted different designs on each nail. The male owner understood and took over. My nails looked beautiful and I was happy with them. I also got by eyebrows done and the Indian lady who did it was great. I really loved how gentle she was and the fact that it didn't hurt. They also gave a little satchel with a hand lotion as a departing gift. Now for the cons: The man who was doing my Pedi did not speak English at all. When he asked me what I wanted to drink, I specified that I don't drink alcohol and that I would take the sparkling apple cider. I've drank sparkling apple cider before and what they gave me was not it. It was extremely bitter and tasted nothing like what I am used to. I just put it aside thinking it went bad or something. She then asked my daughter what she wanted (she is 7yrs old) and she also asked for sparkling apple cider. I was like ohh wait you won't like it . Here try mine. She took a good 2 sips and said ya that's gross. Then my 4yr walks over and tries it too and also says no that is gross. Then my sis took it from me to try it and she goes whoa ..that's flat out tequila! Mind you, the entire store saw my UNDERAGED kids taking sips of this alcoholic cocktail they made and didn't try to stop them or say a word. After realizing it was alcohol, I was livid. Then the female owner said, oh you didn't want alcohol? I said no, I wanted sparkling apple cider. Anyways she said ok is that what your daughter wants? I said yes. So she comes back out with a cranberry juice which was fine . At least it didn't contain alcohol this time. If you are going to give alcoholic beverages to your customers, the least you can do is pay attention and have someone who fully speaks English to take your order. Anyways the cons about the nail portion..the female owner started doing my Mani. I was sat at the first table across the door. There were cut nails all over the towel. It was disgusting. After she couldn't figure out that I wanted a different design on each nail, the male owner took over and he did a great job. He did argue about having gold on my hot pink nails and kept saying I should do silver because most people did that but I really wanted gold and I am glad I stood my ground. I just didn't really like how the female owner who was doing my nails was completely oblivious to the fact that there were nail clippings all over the towel. It was gross . I don't think we will be coming back here. It's been a month and I finally got my gelx taken off (by a different salon) and my nails are so damaged from it. The glue they used was too much and it was so hard to get them off. Although my nails looked gorgeous, the whole alcohol to my kids and the fact that I told them up front that we don't drink, it just left a bitter (literally) taste in my mouth. Since I can't reply to the owner, here is an update: Firstly, very mature way of responding! Secondly, we had 2 female Mani/pedis, 1 male Mani/Pedi, and a child mani/pedi. In the salon, we had my 4yr old and a 6month old too. Our bill was $299.05. You can do the math on that one! Thirdly, we have 3 adults and 2 speaking kids who can tell you, you had absolutely NO other clients come near the front door so please don't make things up. Regarding the alcohol, I told you from the beginning that my brother and I do not drink. I've never had a sip. I had no idea that was alcohol. As a business that is giving free alcohol, it is your establishments job to make sure you aren't giving it to minors or people who don't drink. You saw my kids sip it and still said nothing. Regarding not having a design chosen, I was very clear that I've never done gel-x before. I showed you a photo of the dress I am wearing for the wedding I was going to. I asked YOU for suggestions on what would look nice and you kept asking what design do I want . Many nail salons I've been to will normally suggest things and get creative if given the creative authority to do so. The male owner of the store did exactly that. When I said to do random designs, he did exactly that without any complaint. I even wrote on my review that you all were very accommodating so to respond with a bunch of lies, is very distrusting. I have changed my review to 1 star because I wouldn't recommend a business who just accuse me of paying less to make sure we are the only clients in the store (which makes absolutely no sense). I stumbled on this place looking for a last minute pedicure. It was a few minutes after 6pm and most shops were closed or closing. I called and Amee told to come on in and gave me directions. It was nice and clean. The staff was amazing and so nice. I was given a choice of drink and given one of the best pedicures I have ever had. I seen they also do waxing and had my eyebrows done as well. They were perfect. Pineapple oil was used to massage my eyebrows after the wax not only smelled amazing but was so soothing as well. Im not sure if it's because it's still new and there still trying to get a hand of thing, but the two times I went I was not pleased with the outcome. The first time I would have liked my nails but she kind of did them to fast and in the process over pigmented the color instead of blending it out. The second time my nails looked Bloch I thought it might have been the color combo and he might have need a bigger. And in order to fix it he wanted to put another layer of polish but that would have made the color even darker which is not what I wanted. They tried rectifying the issue and re did my nails. Which I appreciated but that meant doing the process all over again so my nails ended up thinner and shorter and spending even more time to end up with outcome. I came here thinking that I wanted to try a new salon, however I should have went else where I got a pedicure and manicure. The guy who did my pedicure didn't speak English but I tried my best to communicate with him anyways. The manger comes over to fix the French tip because the gentleman that was doing my pedicure was having a hard time and she fixed it sort of. the attitude from the guy was atrocious it felt rushed. I never received the hot stone massage that he was going to make me pay for and I explained that I didn't receive it. He said that he didn't have time because it was busy but his intention was for him to charge me for it until I said something. The manager told me that I should have spoken to staff about my issues. Which I did but they didn't care then tell me I should have spoken to a manager.this place isn't a mansion and everyone in fact heard the issues she offers me 10% which is nothing for having a cold water pedicure, being lied to, not having the same service as everyone else. She tried her best to fix the issues but left a bad taste in my mouth and I've sadly been thinking about how I was treated for days since I left which made me write this review. It's much more to the story but this review is already too long. She offered things to help the situation but honestly none of those things mattered. I'm done at, after three times of asking them to fix my nails and met with all of the workers pointing giggling and laughing at me I decided just to take the L and finish with the service when I got to the counter, I asked if the nails were normally supposed to look like that, and even she said no. The person who was supposed to do my gel manicure didn't ask how long or short I wanted my natural long nails to be trimmed...he cut my nails almost down to the quick and he didn't understand when I told him that he cut them way too short and trimmed off even more after that.
