These are my results from a microdermabrasion treatment done on 4/23/26, I reached out to the business via email because I was really unhappy with the treatment since a chemical peel was added on my open cuts, which caused pain and discomfort. I was looking for a refund and a cancellation of my membership. Thankfully the membership got cancelled but no refund because of their contract. But the business claimed no wrong doing and insisted that these are normal results after a mircodermabrasion. You be the judge of that. I naturally have thick brows and the middle was over waxed- eyebrows look nothing alike. I was referred to this place by a friend. I have been looking for a place where I can get both my Brazilian and my eyebrows done. This cute little place fulfilled that need. Madison performed my Brazilian and underarm wax and was amazing! The most painless Brazilian wax I have EVER had. I got the numbing treatment beforehand which really helped, but she was quick, efficient and distracting. Giselle wax and shapes my brows and I am so grateful to have found her. My previous brow tech moved out of state and I have had a hard time finding someone ever since. I think I found someone though! Giselle shaped my brows perfectly while still leaving them beautifully full. I am so happy. Oh and did I mention they hand out margaritas! Yes! You get a drink while you wait. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 star rating is because they are a bit pricey. You can definitely get cheaper waxing at Pretty Kitty or European Wax Center, but I have been to both those places and have not been able to find anyone that I would stick with. You DO pay in advance but that didn't bother me. I thought the prices were very reasonable. An The business does look like a house so I drove by it a few times. It's a cute, very clean place. They do have some strict Covid policies so don't bring anyone with you and mask up! Service was very fast, very professional and surprisingly not very painful. I needed my eyebrows done bcuz they were just getting wild! Lol If I had known about this place before COVID I would have been going here instead. It's extremely clean and cute inside. (read the fine print too) They call if you're late - which I was to an appointment because I'm a ding dong, and they were quick to help me out. The new location is beautiful, and hides some spacious parking in back. Reception is always on point - quick to welcome, and quick to get me situated. Services - I just have a great experience with all of gals. I don't usually pick my specialist, so I've seen probably everyone here - and consistency in results as well as service have been 100%. Booked an online appointment for a Brazilian wax through their website. The process was really easy, you do pay in advance which I understand. They email you a patient form to fill out about 14 pages long that you just insert your initials and signature. It wasn't letting me submit the application, so I just had it left open on my phone when I arrived. Upon entering the business I was greeted right away. The shop is super cute! I explained to the receptionist about the pt forms, and she handled it for me so I didn't have to re-fill them out. They showed me to my room right away. Clara did my service, and she was amazing! I explained to her it was my first time and I was a bit nervous being so vulnerable, She calmed my nerves instantly and was so welcoming and made me so comfortable. My experience couldn't have been better honestly. Clara also recommended some products, but was not pushy at all. I am so grateful my first experience was so easy and pleasant. I rarely post, but I definitely need to give credit where credit is due. Tried The Wax Lounge (Feb 2022) with a Brazilian. I was nervous, as it was my first time in 7 years attempting to try a Brazilian again (first time was with the not so Pretty Kitty place in the OC area). Madison did an outstanding job! I knew it would be painful getting the wax but the aftermath was what I was waiting for- that would show me REAL results. Hands down, the end product was amazing! After 4 weeks I saw a dramatic change! I couldn't be happier. Decided to go back a month later for a follow up wax and to try my legs and underarm for the first time ever. Now this is the REASON for my 5 stars: I walked into my pretty much full body wax with a pretty flakey face from a chemical peel and post care treatment nightmare done by a separate company about a week prior. I jokingly warned Madison that I would be flakey all over and would try to wear a mask to cover up my peeling skin- she instantly told me not to wear a mask to avoid hyperpigmentation and I thought, lovely this wasn't told to me by the other company I got my chem peel done by! I def listened to what Madison suggested and thought maybe she could help me out since I obviously wasn't setup for success after my chem peel. So, upon arrival I explained what took place with the other unmentionable company and desperately asked if she had any suggestions. Madison suggested 3 of their products TWL carried and was able to explain why I would need them. I was desperate to try anything and went for it. I can say 24 hours post my wax sesh, I have a freshly waxed , amazingly waxed legs and underarms AND MY FACE HAS BEEN SAVED! Madison's suggestions worked and I am on my way back from what could have been a destructive path. The thing is, Madison didn't come off as trying to push any product or service on to me. She listened to what my needs were, genuinely cared about my struggles, and quickly knew what products that were needed. That was it. Straight to the point, no fluff added...She was amazing and provided a genuine and wonderful service. So, if you read this far...just take my word for it and book that appointment! I've been getting Brazilian waxed for over 10 years now - it's nothing new to me. When I came to live in Riverside I looked up nearby waxing locations and it was pretty much here or The Pretty Kitty in Rancho. I by default chose The Wax Lounge due to proximity and it's been gravy ever since. In full disclosure I've never tried The Pretty Kitty or the new place European Wax Center - The Wax Lounge was a great experience that first time so I have not felt the need to try other places. I've only had one bad waxing experience here and that was my last time....I reserve judgement though....I don't know if it was just a bad mixture of wax that day or if it was my technician (first time with her and me) - I think if it starts to consistently be bad the next fees times then maybe I'll look for a new place, but not yet. So they have some pretty consistent staff/waxers that have been there for years but every now and then they get a new face. Brandi is definitely my favorite but I use whoever is available at the time I need my service done, I've even had trainees observe my wax! The wax mixture they use is more pleasant/not painful like others. I'd put it on the same level as a quick slap. I've even got waxed while pregnant and right before my expected due date for each of my babies. So in conclusion , try this place out, those new to waxing, those veterans to waxing etc. read more
