BIG RED FLAGS! I went to NV nails for the first time yesterday, I will NOT go back. I did not see any individual licenses for the nail techs!!! The pedicure was fine, but the manicure took so long because the guy kept leaving cracks in my nails with the chrome. He got really upset when I mentioned that it needed to be fixed. The shaping work is awful and makes me want to go to a different nailshop to get it fixed. But my nails hurt so bad right now that I don't think I should. When I went to wash my hands for the manicure, the water smelled like sewage. The place was super busy, but it also looked like they never took the time to clean. Very unprofessional. The music played 10 ai cover songs on a loop. It felt like a fever dream. It's a shame, they greeted me nicely when I arrived! I will not go back. read more

I went to this salon on Sunday for a gel pedicure and to get acrylic applied to both of my big toes. The very next day, my sister pointed out that acrylic had only been applied to one big toe and not the other. It was extremely noticeable because one toenail looked completely different from the other, and I was disappointed that such an obvious mistake was missed. Later that same day, I started noticing redness, irritation, and swelling around my big toenail. By Monday night, there was pus coming from the side of the nail. I had no ingrown toenail, infection, or any issues with my toe before my appointment. And of course they're closed on Monday's so I called the salon Tuesday morning and told them what i was coming in for and what the issue was. they looked at my toe and told me they couldn't work on it because of the pus, which I completely understand. What upset me was that when I tried to explain that the problem started after my Sunday appointment and that I came in with a healthy toe, they immediately denied any responsibility and repeatedly told me to soak it in salt water. There was no attempt to address the missing acrylic application, no concern shown for the condition of my toe, and no effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I felt dismissed and blamed. Between the poor quality of the service and the way my concerns were handled afterward, I am very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. read more

This had been my favorite nail salon for over 10 years, and I've always supported them. When new owners took over, I respectfully shared feedback that the salon had become poorly maintained and unhygienic--because I genuinely wanted to see them succeed. Unfortunately, instead of taking the feedback professionally, they retaliated. During my most recent visit, the staff spoke in another language and laughed while looking at me, which made me extremely uncomfortable. After I paid (and even left a tip despite being charged more than usual), the owner waited outside to tell me--on behalf of his wife--that they no longer wanted to service me because of the feedback I gave. I've never been treated with such disrespect as a loyal customer. If you're looking for a place that values cleanliness and professionalism, I wouldn't recommend this salon under the current ownership. read more

Been here twice. Loved my nails for both. One issue though, the past time I came in my manicurist finished a client then immediately took me without cleaning anything from the previous person. There were nail shavings all over the station and equipment. While he was shaving down my nails he cut me. I thought he'd apologize and we'd address the wound but he ignored it completely and kept going. Went over the cut with acetone and nail polish. It BURNED but it wasn't so horrible and he did good with my design so I didn't complain but it was very unprofessional and rude to not address the issue and potentially give me an infection from unsafe practices. My cut healed and it's fine. Again live the design but the experience was messy read more

I have been going to Nina for years for acrylics on my hands & for years she's had an attitude problem, but it has been the worst this last year, you literally can't ask her for anything without her rolling her eyes and giving you attitude & saying everything is your fault like your fingers or toes are shaped like that. She acts like I'm asking her for favor like I'm paying you & I tip you really good because I have been in the hair industry so I tip above and beyond. Over the years it's gotten worse each time!! She no longer says hi or bye just sit down not even a smile or talking or any kind. If I notice something wrong with my nails she gives me major attitude and acts like it's a huge deal, I can't even ask her to make my nails shorter without the attitude, a couple of times she even told me no I will admit I got very comfortable with her horrible attitude because she's fast & convenient (close to my house) and does a decent job most times, but today she did my toe nails (which she normally doesn't do) because the other girls were busy. She did acrylic on my big toes & a polish change, when she was done (because she doesn't like me asking her anything during the middle) I noticed my left toe nail was completely turned sideways...she told me it was my toe that was the problem!!! The same toe that I get done once a month & it's never done that. When I went pay she told me I need to find someone else to do my nails from now on because of the toe nail situation!!! She was pissed that I was accusing her of doing it sideways which she did!!! The disrespect from the lady is crazy! I'm glad this happened so I can move on to someone who doesn't make me feel horrible when I need something fixed. As you can see from all the reviews of Nina, I have the same story as a ton of other people, which I'm sure there's way more just never left a review What a horrible way to do business & yes I still tipped even though she was rude & made my toe nail completely crooked. I will be taking my business else where, where I don't feel like I can't say anything and feel welcomed because I haven't felt welcomed in a long time. I settled for disrespect and being treated like crap for comfort & convenience. so I'm so glad this happened. But the nerve of this lady is crazy to me. (Lastly Tina & the other women are so amazing and sweet!!! I've been coming here for about 4 years now since my co-worker introduced me to here. I even drove here to get my pedicures when I moved to Lancaster to get my pedicure. I can't speak for other workers that are working here. But out of all the pedicures I've gotten from the people here, Tina does the pedicure the best. What's amazing about Tina's pedicure is her massages. I love the hardcore Asian deep tissue massages. Her pedicure massages are just like that. Also, she does an amazing job getting the ingrown nails out. Even my mother-in-law thought it was amazing. She's not amazing at the nail arts though. So usually, if you want something painted nicely, she'll switch with someone so they can do it instead. I usually go for a basic color, so it doesn't matter much for me. Of the 4 years I've been here, I've always gone for the $45 dollars (now it's $48 dollars) pedicure. It lasts about an hour long. Honestly, the best pedicure you'll have if you like a good massage and good nail care. read more

Although I've never had my nails by male staff there this I'll be the last. He was very rough when drilling and handling my hands. He forgot the number of polish I wanted so he guessed and gave me this color. It looked like the color while he was painting them but it turned out to be this instead of a pinkish nude. Until it was gone. We started looking for it and the guy doing my nails asked if we were ok. I said no we are looking for her bracelet. He stays quiet.
