Never had a problem, lily and Kathy are always amazing and detailed with my pedicures. Finally today I went for a manicure for the first time and Jennifer was the nail tech. I asked for a Deep French tip and it was too much of a task for her. I'll Impatient when I asked to adjust the shape of the French tip. Would gaslight me when I told her to fix something and she'd say "where?? I don't see anything" over-trimmed my cuticles & ended up cutting me. There was no quality in her work. Just did nails to get paid. Left upset bc getting your nails is to pamper & relax during your appt, it's not just about looking put together. I would not book with Jennifer. read more

So disappointed! I love my usual place I get a mani/pedi from in Long Beach but I took my niece this time since she had no school on Friday and they live close by so I thought we would try this spot. First of all, I'd just like to say Im not new to getting a pedicure done. I go frequently and have used the same person for the last 10ish years. I say that to say the guy who did my pedicure was terrible. You can see in the pictures just what the problem is. Dead skin around the nail beds/sides he didnt remove, polish that didnt cover the whole nail, and sharp sides of my nails he didnt file. I put on a pair of socks last night and the side of my toe nail was a sharp edge that got caught in my sock. After i took pictures i ended up having to file down the sides of my nails. When he used the pumice on the bottom of my feet he barely did it and not even long enough for them to be smooth (you can see the cracks in my heels in the picture's) Pedicures are my way of relaxing and i love having my feet/legs rubbed during my pedicures but i was so disappointed. I hardly felt it. It seemed like he was scared to put some effort into it. Again I'm very familiar with pedicures and know what to expect and this just wasnt it sadly. Now, the lady who did my nails. She was friendly. She did okay, theyre not terrible. My hands have been really dry so she talked me into getting a paraffin with steam for $10 extra. She had me sitting with the paraffin on my hands and lotion/oil dribbled on my arms while she got the steam machine ready. The first one she couldnt get to work after plugging it in and playing with it for a minute so she went and got another one. She was having a tough time with the second one also. 10ish minutes went by and the paraffin was already cool and starting to slide off my hands inside the bag. A lady(who worked here) behind her was just sitting down watching her struggle not offering her any help. I told her, it's fine dont worry about it. By this time my niece had already been done and was waiting on me. She finally got the steam to come out but it was way too close and burning me so i moved my hands back. She then picked up the steamer and started going back n forth, up and down to steam my hands/arms. It was way too much and hitting me in the face, i could hardly breath. A guy who sits in the front who she called her teacher walked over and showed her how to raise it and she was thankful but by that time i was already annoyed, hurting and ready to leave. I get bad migraines and that steam smelled like it had essential oils or something so my head was hurting pretty bad I just wanted to get back to my sisters house and lay down. My niece is 10 and doesnt like to make a big fuss but she waited until her mom got home and told her the guy didnt put the top coat of polish on her left hand. Her right hand was shiny and smooth but her left hand was dull and rough. As i said my head was hurting pretty bad the rest of the day otherwise i would have said something or went back to have them fix our nails if i lived in the area. This was one expensive trip to not be close to satisfied, but I definitely wont be back. I told my niece ill take her to my lady next time! read more

I've been working on growing out my nails for a couple weeks and finally got them to a beautiful length. I asked for a gel manicure with almond shape, which was what my nails were pretty much already shaped as. About five minutes in and I noticed she starts filing my nails as a square so I remind her I want them almond and pointed. She continues to file them shorter and shorter, and they're still square. I had to ask for another nail tech to come over and shape them. my nails are extremely short now so all those weeks of growing out my nails gone. She starts putting the gel on and I can tell it looks messy, but I assume she's going to clean it up but she doesn't. This is the messiest gel manicure I've ever gotten. The gel is on my skin and the polish doesn't even go to the end of some of my nails. read more

I had high hopes for this place I wanted to try them out. When I first came in the nail tech shook her head and laughed at my nails I know they were bad but you don't have to be rude about it. I felt uncomfortable from the start she gave me colors to pick and I always get somthing with glitter, none of the choices she gave me really had any, I asked her if that was all the colors they had she said yes but then came back with more more options...I was like okayyy so you guys do carry more colors I finally picked a dark sparkly red and she was quite the rest of the service which I didn't mind I don't really like to talk anyways. I will say she did do a good job shaping them but the appointment took wayyyy too long my normal place I go to I'm in and out of there in 40 mins and the color always comes out right I had somewhere to be this took well over an hour There was an issue with the color not matching the nail color sample they gave me I finally agreed because I just didn't have the time anymore I was pretty stressed out at this point. This is what I get for cheating on my normal place never again I'm done trying new places just because they're closer to my job I always end up disappointed. I have been going to this nail salon for quite some time now and my last visit was the worst. My cuticles still looked horrible after my manicure. Slapping oil on it didn't hide the fact that they were untouched during my visit. The tech often forgot which hand she was working on. The dip manicure is uneven. Terrible service, not very cleanly, they aren't nice, and your nail polish will chip/peel within a couple of days. Expensive for no reason. They also did the next package up than I requested and charged me for it. Best nail salon in town!! I've been getting my nails done at L3 for over four years and I have never once had a problem. I always make an appointment with a specific person, and I have never had to wait. Since using the dipping powder, I have not lifted or broken a Nail in years! It really breaks my heart to read the negative reviews on this page, especially if you think you're going to walk into any nail salon, without an appointment, three deep and expect to get three spa pedicure chairs next to each other at the exact same time. That is just asinine and anybody who leaves a negative review for that should go somewhere else because the clientele doesn't want to hear your snide comments while we're in the shop. But did not come out beautiful. Called back the next day and when they told me to come back so they could correct it. Her way of correct her awful ombre was to buff out my thumbs and put a gel top cop, and Rudely walk away without another word. I came here for a soak off and as I get in the chair the nail tech tried to proceed using another acrylic nail to take off my acrylic nail even after i requested to get a soak off because it hurts more. I am very good at taking care of my nails which is irritating that something like this happen earlier after paying more than $70 for this set. So much lifting on all the nails. Really disappointed in this place as it has good reviews but terrible service. It's clear that this is one of those nail salons that cater to people who they think will spend more money. I made an appointment for 3 - me and my two younger teenage sisters. I waited about 15 min before I was taken to a chair. I watched at least 4 other older white ladies get serviced before my two sisters although we had appointments. It was clear that they really didn't care about the two I was already getting my pedicure so all I could do was communicate to my nail technician who communicated to the front which responded "We know."
