She basically "OVER FILED" with using the "NAIL DRILL" on my "NAIL BED'S"and did not know how to use the tool to do cuticle treatments. I had to ask her if she was even gonna do the nail soak since I was getting a manicure. She was extremely slow. I was there over an hour and she still has not painted my nails yet. I decided to try this nail salon based on recommendations from the Nextdoor app. I drive by here daily and finally decided to give it a try'. They were busy and I was so glad they were able to squeeze me in for a gel manicure because my nails were a hot mess from a place I went to previously. Dan, the owner did my nails and he did a great job. His wife worked on someone's nails right next to me and her nails were gorgeous and very detailed. The vibe was chill. Had my nails done today as a walk-in. When I arrived the salon was busy, but to be expected on a Friday afternoon, and they said it would be 45 minutes. I live close so just went home for a little bit and returned. Jesse did my nails and she was not very talkative but I didn't mind. Gave me time to relax and enjoy the treatment. I've been a few times this summer and I love it! Dan the owner is very kind and I love that he talks with you when working on your nails! He is very personable which is hard to come by at nail salons. During this hot summer, his kids have been working a lemonade stand outside of the salon. The kids are so cute and respectful, plus the lemonade is tasty! I don't get any intricate nail designs so I can't speak on that. This salon used to be my favorite, especially after change in ownership, however, each of the last four times I've come they have lacked service, attitude, care. I've had the gentleman that is there at times be rude just in answering whether they can accommodate a walk-in, other instances when I've come they do a quick pedicure and send me on my way until I asked why I'm never asked what type of service I want ( I will own this one) today unfortunately, I came in for my pedi. I was taken in and treated by the young girl, I asked for the deluxe pedi. And she kept looking at the clock, she skimmed through the treatment, did not do callous since I requested not to use the cheese grater, she passed the pumice 3 times on my feet. I asked her to please do the treatment she argued a bit with me then said she had another appointment and was visibly rushing. I told her not to worry to just do the polish as I didn't want her rushed...well, she did that and no other appointment came for her and she is still there. It's 4:55pm. Not sure what happened. At any rate, I wish them well. Meantime, I need to go get a proper pedicure. read more

I am from Pacific Paliasades CA and during a weekend visit with my parents, my mom raved about the customer service and quality of care of V-Nails. My nails were awful and I could not get an appointment at my regular salon Mailan Nails, Studio City CA whose service is exceptional. My mother had been bragging about the staff at V Nails and I was excited to try them out. They did a decent job but not necessarily to my standards, but I was satisfied, opting to return again the next time I was visiting Riverside which is often. This morning, I was very sad to hear about an incident that occurred in which my mother was banned from returning to their salon due to her concerns about certain customers not wearing a mask. Long story short, the owner insisted that she wear a mask, an effort she fully supports. For whatever reason her mask kept slipping, and he continued to admonish her to wear one. Finally, he offered her one to wear. Further upon entry she was emphatically admonished to wash her hands twice, a practice she does consistently even before the Covid mandate. Meanwhile to Caucasian teenagers walk on completely maskless. She observed for a half-hour waiting for him to equally admonish them to wear a mask, however he said nothing, no admonishing, no offer to give them a mask to wear. He never insisted that they was their hands as well. They simply sat down and began their service. She finally asked the young lady who was doing her pedicure about the discrepancy, who then communicated her concern to the owner Bryan. As my Mom went to pay the $108.00 bill, she decided on this day not to tip because she felt discriminated agains. He then begins to argue with her about not tipping, alleging that she had not tipped on her prior visit and indicated that her business is no longer welcome. Not a problem, fortunately there are over 1,229 nail salons in Riverside County so its not a thing to find a new one, thats' higher end that offers exceptional service and are not discriminatory in practice. read more

I decided to try this place out(gel nails). I also decided to get a pedi. They literally took less than 10 minutes for my pedi, didn't bother to scrub my feet with the pumice stone for more than about 30 seconds each foot. Plain and simple did not like the service. My gels that's another story didn't even bother to let me wash off the dust or even clean my nails with anything. So rude and I will never be back there read more
