I love Uncle Fluffy 's cheesecake. I first tried it in Dubai and I remember thinking what's that long line and why is it expensive for that small piece of cheesecake. I asked my bf if we could fall in line to check it out and it didn't disappoint. I immediately checked if we had it in California coz I'd love to have some again. When I saw the sign that it was about to open close to my home I got excited. I couldn't wait for it to open. When they finally opened I was one of the first patrons. Sad to say I was a little disappointed, first it's a little smaller than what it's supposed to be in the size that I ordered and it doesn't taste as good as what I had in Dubai. So disappointed. Very happy that an uncle fluffy opened in the IE! Been wanting to try them since i first saw them on yelp while in OC. However, it was near closing so i opted out. I was looking at places to get something sweet and saw they had opened a location in riverside. Their cheesecakes are delicious and im not a cheesecake fan! The texture is different from regular cheesecake. Its more cake texture but you bite into it and it somewhat melts into a cheesecake texture...i dont know how to describe the uniqueness of Japanese cheesecake, but there is. Havent tried their coffee though, id say one star goes off to the large drink menu which is nice, but the menu screen kept changing and it was pretty annoying. Not only that but the way it's programmed. Both screens were the same exact menu, then changed into a different one with the same menu (ex hot drinks on one screen and hot drinks on the other, changes into cold drinks and cold drinks). Itd be more convenient if one screen was hot, and the other was cold. Or one stays showing the sweets and the other interchanges between drinks. My son and i tried the tarts. We got one of each, minus the regular one (buy 4 get 1 free). They were pretty good. Blueberry kinda tasted like blueberry cream cheese though, still delightful. read more

I walked in to a bright clean and roomy eating area with a large table in the middle equipped with charging ports for phones etc, and several smaller tables around it. The staff seemed friendly enough. Came back after my delivery to try it . I tried what I'd call a single size. It's cool they have name baked into the cake, but if you like traditional cheesecakes this is not the place. What I got was more akin to regular cake only with a different texture. Since they are $9.99 each I called to inquire and inform them. They already knew something was off because their count was off, so that was cool that they keep track like that. Compared to Uncle tetsu, I'm team Uncle Fluffy. The cheesecake taste like a light fluffy cheesecake. It's very delicious and I highly recommend this place. This my second time coming, the first time I came at like 2 pm during the week and they sold out which was crazy to me. I assume they don't keep making them thru the day. That was a star off just on that experience alone but today I came in no issue. They had plenty. They offer three sizes, a small, Xl and large size. I got the large which was 22.99 I believe and an additional dollar for a tiny cup of chocolate sauce. The cheesecake is good definitely and if it was cheesecake alone I would say 4 stars. But compared to their main competitor Uncle TESTU they win. If your in the area and have no other Japanese cheese cake options then yes come here it's worth the hype but if you can I would recommend testu over uncle fluffy. The price point is just way high here. I can get two same sized ones and different flavors for what I paid here. It's just a lot more expensive here and it doesn't come with anything additional. The service itself was great and the people are very nice. If you have never had a Japanese cheesecake by all means come here but if you have the choice between the two brands I recommend their competitor. They do taste different as well. This cheesecake is more dense and more like classic cheesecake but with some fluff vs original Japanese fluffy cheesecake it's a bit more light but less like cheesecake overall. read more
