Cozy area in the back with bench seating.

We came because we saw it in passing and checked out their menu online. Lots of interesting teas we hadn't had anywhere else, so we stopped on on our way home. We were wowed with the decor and soft lighting in addition to the great drink options. Drinks were ready very quickly and they were beautiful. In addition, there were board games to borrow next to the pastry case. Instead of grabbing a drink and going, we settled in and enjoyed the ambiance. We'll be back!

Umbrella Tea House is one of my favorite places for boba and teas, and I was glad they opened a new location in Mount Prospect. They have the same offerings as their other location, a variety of teas, coffees and smoothies. Their brown sugar milk tea is one of my favorites. Service was excellent and fast. The place is nicely decorated and the aesthetic is clean, yet warm and welcoming.

Umbrella Tea House has quickly become one of my favorite spots to work and relax. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful--cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I spent a few hours there working, and it was the perfect environment: free WiFi, comfy seating, and plenty of space to spread out everything I needed. Service was quick, they were very attentive open to suggestions and recommendations. He even offered to make us off menu items if we wanted it. They also have games available if you're just hanging out, which adds such a fun touch! As for the drinks--wow. I started with the brown sugar milk tea (delicious), and had to come back with my family to try more. The ube coffee, taro milk tea, and ultimate ace milk tea were all hits. Every drink was packed with flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. So glad to finally have a legit milk tea and coffee house in the area. Highly recommend, and I'll absolutely be back again soon!

Pink Peach Matcha and Coconut Matcha Cloud

Super cute interior. We got the pink peach matcha and the matcha coconut cloud. It was my first time here so I asked if the pink peach matcha was too sweet, I was told it wasn't and they were right! No adjustments needed, just make sure to stir it very well. It tastes like a white peach drink. As for the matcha coconut cloud, it was really tasty but a little on the sweeter side for me! I would probably get it 75% or 50% sweet if that's possible. We were also given these adorable pompompurin cupcakes. They're to die for. The staff is super sweet and helpful plus their drinks are delicious. I'd definitely come back again (:

beautiful cafe! i walked in not expecting much since it's in a tight plaza (nestled between mr cabinet and fedex) but the decor is absolutely beautiful! i can't wait to go back just to sit and admire it haha i tried the viet egg coffee and i thought it was pretty similar to altea which is also a great option in the mt prospect area. so good! i also tried the thai tea with sea salt foam which was a mediocre experience. it had more of a powdered cream taste and i wanted it to be sweeter service was fantastic, pricing was decent .. i will definitely come back to tru other items!

I heard a lot of exciting things about this place and the interior is so cute so I was really hopeful about my drink! However, I was pretty disappointed. The ube cheesecake was great but they barely had any sweets stocked (on a midday on a Tuesday). I got the earl grey milk tea with cream cheese which tasted as you would expect but also watered down and barely any sweetness with 75%. It didn't have anything special to it. The cream cheese foam wasn't blended well and would get chunks of it in the sips. The service is quick and inside is beautiful to look at but overall, the drinks aren't anything exciting.

Great assortment of fresh fruit tea, sea salt cream tea, hot tea, milk tea, smoothies, bubble waffle, cookies, and cheesecake. I usually get the umbrella ace milk tea. The mango and strawberry smoothies are the best for the kids. Ordering is quick at the counter and you can use your credit card. Online ordering is not here yet, but in the process soon. Great tasting and refreshing drinks here! Every drink tastes good here as they are made fresh to order! They call out your number on your receipt to pick up. The inside area has plenty of room for your family to enjoy your refreshing beverage with tables and couches spread out. I am looking forward to telling my family and friends and bringing them over to have a drink together here more often!

Egg coffee and Thai Lychee lemonade.

Establishment is clean and very aesthetic. Perfect for a little coffee/boba drink. The music isn't too loud so it's perfect for sitting and talking. The drinks were delicious and beautiful. We had the egg coffee and the Thai lychee lemonade.

Amazing boba and coffee! Perfect balance of flavors, a cozy vibe, and super friendly staff. A must-visit spot!

new favorite boba shop! so far i've tried the grapefruit lychee jelly, ultimate ace milk tea, and strawberry matcha milk - all are delicious! i got the strawberry matcha milk with oat milk - i could equally taste the strawberry and matcha. the bits of strawberry at the bottom of the drink were my fav. the sweetness of the grapefruit lychee jelly was ideal for me - not too sweet nor bitter, and they give you a good amount of jelly. the ultimate ace tasted like a solid standard milk tea with a variety of toppings. the boba was cooked/tasted perfectly which not every boba shop executes well. can't wait to try the other drinks and maybe eventually the bubble waffle!

Not only are the drinks really good, but they come in these really cute reusable cups. Definitely a return customer.

Something for everyone! Ample parking lot AND a drive thru window! Satisfying portion sizes. The bad: if you snooze, you'll lose on the donut variety, so plan accordingly! I actually got up mid meal to purchase our donuts bc several customers came in between the time we arrived and the time we would've been ready for dessert. You can catch me snoozing at 6am, but not at donut o'clock! The ugly: the cream in the Boston cream donut used to be (atleast a couple years ago, at another location) reminiscent of a true vanilla, pastry cream or custard, but this Boston cream was an IMPOSTER! The cream inside was a slightly greasy, artificial tasting whipped topping that was atrocious. My 7yo rejected the French twist donut she picked bc it was a bit dried out and tasted nutty for some reason. Maybe it was touching other donuts in the process of being made or had some kind of cross contamination. I don't mind nuts, but the staling texture was off putting. This visit didn't live up to the Niles location, and can't wait until the little Glenview shop reopens.

There was plenty of seating, the tabletops were a little dirty, the floor had crumbs, but nothing gross. Approx. 5 mins later a girl popped out of the back wearing a T-shirt, called my name (yes - there was still no other customer in the store) handed me a box, and didn't say anything else. I asked her for a bag so I wouldn't lose my mochi donuts as I dodged traffic on AH back to my car. She bagged up my box and handed it to me. There was no hello, no thank you, no have a good day, not a sound except for my name. For about $40 a DOZEN (after tax), I would have expected some sort of customer service. I really hope this was a one off, not the normal for business. The donuts were good. They were fresh and chewy. The flavors popped and were a nice treat. However, for the cost and lack of customer care, I'm going to keep looking for another mochidonut location. At almost $4 for a donut, come out and say HI! We sampled a couple different chocolate pieces and as far as I can tell, they were good.
