We stopped by Liquid Fusion after dinner since we were in the area and wanted to grab some dessert to celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered the bingsoo and the waffle dessert, and both were delicious -- huge portions and perfect for sharing. It had been a while since my last visit, but it was just as good as I remembered. Great place to hang out, enjoy some sweet treats, and end the night on a high note. Always happy to come back here!
Liquid Fusion Cafe was recommended to me by my neighbor. There are many cafes near my home so I decided to take a trip to business location. I ordered my favorite flavor: Brown Sugar Boboa, regular size. The parking lot is small, however private. The staff was friendly. There was a wait for orders, however the staff was quick and fulfilled many orders at the same time. Nice vibes with a great selection of drinks, snacks and sweets. My Boboa was o so tasty! Cheers!
Yummy boba place! Lots of flavors to choose from but Thai Tea is my favorite! Quick service and easy street parking!
Love that this place has bingsu, a delicious Korean dessert. We got the red bean fruit bingsu and it was a bit pricey but once we saw how large it was we felt we got a good bang for the buck. Huge portion with tons of fresh fruit, ice cream and delicious red bean. We absolutely loved the honey drizzled on top. Friendly service, too! The reason we only gave 4 stars is my boyfriend felt they forgot the condensed milk.
Absolutely love love love Liquid Fusion! They use fresh fruit and they are not stingy with their boba. This place is also one of my kids favorite boba places as well. Today I shared a strawberry, blueberry, banana, boba with my husband. I had to give myself some pause because after having the first sip, I wanted to drink the whole thing myself. They also have a rewards program, which is always a plus for me. It is a little bit hidden in this strip mall, but it's definitely worth the stop in! Parking is easy and we've never had to wait very long for our drinks to be prepared.
Stopped by for a late night boba run as this is one is open late. It is small but they have a wide variety of options and they have some seating but It is very popular. There were no tables available because it was packed. Parking can get tricky depending on how busy it is, you may need to park in the back. I ordered a regular size brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba. It was on the sweeter side than I'm use to. I enjoyed the tapioca balls they had a good consistency to them. I'd be curious to try some other flavors and items on their menu.
Literally in back of the laundry I visited, and while I probably wouldn't go back there, I'd definitely make a return trip to Liquid Fusion. I enjoyed a thick mango smoothie with boba. Quick service, comfy seating.
I'm currently obsessing over their frozen peach drink with mango boba. It's always so refreshing and I really love the flavor combination!
If you're over 21, you might feel very out of place here on a Friday night - I know I did. I came around 10:30pm because it's the only late night spot I could find in the area. There was a line of young people out the door. I assume because this might be the only hangout spot on a Friday night for the local kids. Parking seemed limited as well. They had an impressive menu, but I opted for a taro tea with tapioca because I didn't want anything caffeinated. The tapioca had an unusual texture, so it wasn't my favorite. There is limited seating indoors and no outdoor seating.
Always fruit freeze. Avocado and coconut smoothie is tasty and consistent in this location. I feel comfort with this drink. The good thing is you can also adjust the sweetness. I usually choose less sweet with boba. Because the boba is already sweet. They have a point system that you collect points if you register. I got free drink using the points because I have so much points. This place was busy when I visit. I guess it's due to weekends. But the line moves fast.
Cute little spot we hit up after dinner at Iron Age right down the street. They're drinks are consistently yummy but their Red Bean Bingsoo... so good and worth every penny. It's huge. Definitely shareable and delicious. They do have some seating and we've been and have been LOUD. Haven't been asked to leave yet so that's a major plus. They do have a lot for parking.
Popular and busy cafe located near the Glenview/Northbrook Hmart on Milwaukee Avenue. This place has a surprisingly large menu for the size including lots of coffees, teas, and fruit freezes with jelly, pp ubble, crystal bubble, protein, yogurt, tapioca and other add-ins. If you're feeling hungry there's also fruit waffle and bingsu options. The ambiance is quite cozy and service is fairly quick and friendly.
After dinner, my husband, a friend, and I went to Liquid Fusion Cafe looking for dessert. We went after 8:00pm and the restaurant was full. I ordered a chocolate mint Fusion. It's basically a mint hot chocolate. It was delicious. There were lots of Christmas decorations around the cafe. The drinks were yummy and the staff was friendly. I will come back for more drinks and food here. I highly recommend Liquid Fusion Cafe!
Glad to see Liquid Fusion going strong through the years. They continuously innovate their menu and we really loved the red bean fruit bingsu. That's hard to find nowadays, and it was a refreshing delicious treat in the warmer weather!! read more

Cute spot to stop by if you have that "need something sweet" fix. My friend and I had a taste for bingsoo after dinner so we stopped by. It was kind of late, but we came in....employees were probably also not expecting many people if anything, because it was snowing too. Although there were quite a few different crowds that came in after my friend and I did. The bingsoo was okay. My friend and I shared a cup since we were still pretty full from dinner. I wish there was a little more to it. Sweet enough to get that "sweet fix" and call it a night. I also ordered the almond milk tea and it was good. It was a nice balance. The menu also has other items to offer like shakes, coffee, ramen, sandwiches, etc. read more

Tried a few drinks here and everything hit The Java Chip was the star for me it tasted exactly like the old McDonald's chocolate chip frappe that got discontinued. Super nostalgic, perfectly blended, not too sweet, and really satisfying. The taro was smooth and creamy with a nice authentic flavor, not overly sugary or artificial. The strawberry milkshake was also solid fresh, classic, and refreshing. Cute café vibes, lots of drink options, and a great spot to chill with friends. Definitely coming back to work my way through more of the menu. read more

Came here around midnight for a quick to go for a bubble tea. Got recommended for the house blend and went with it. Personally, it was not for me. But you like classic thai tea with non dairy creamer, then it's for you! Ambience is simple and neat. Will definitely come back to try their other bubble tea options! read more
Stopped in to try the strawberry bingsu. I had friends say that it was very good and I went with someone that has gotten it before. What we got was very icey and was not creamy at all. It was as if the machine that does the shaved ice didn't have enough or something but it was like eating chopped ice like what you would get in a snow cone. The strawberry, ice cream and mochi toppings were great! The only issue was the shaved ice itself. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and maybe tonight was just an exception but I am willing to come back and try it. read more

a classic spot for me is Liquid Fusion which is the go-to spot for Bubble Tea near my hometown of Glenview. I got their lychee and raspberry boba which is made with real fruit, and the drink was sweet and fragrant and a true staple for me overall. read more
I love their fruit bingsoo soso much. This hits at night after a summer day or hot meal. It comes with vanilla ice cream, honey, watermelon, kiwi, strawberry, mochi, peaches, pineapple, and honeydew. The shaved ice is really well coated with the condensed milk or cream. This is my second time and I would get it again when in the area. I love that this place closes at midnight as it gives an option for anyone to grab a sweet treat for a late night craving as other places nearby are already closed. The one thing I have to drop a star was their thai tea. It did not have much depth in it flavor that thai tea usually has and you can tell as the color was already mixed and did not have the normal layers separated from the milk to the tea. It tasted just like a sweet milk. read more

this is my go-to for blended thai tea! this is the og spot for me for bubble teas and definitely one of my favorites! i wish it was closer! i like that the service is very quick and they have a ton of different menu items. parking can be tricky on busy days but you can always park in the back as well read more
Located in a very small strip mall, I decided to stop in and see what they have to offer. They have so many drink varieties, lots of smoothies, coffees and milk tea. Unlike most places you cannot customize the sugar or ice of your drink. I tried the milk tea with brown sugar and boba. It was good, a bit sweeter than I am used to. The boba was a bit chewy and was not as fresh as it should be. Service was very fast and prices were reasonable. Overall, ok, more of a food chain experience. read more

Found this little gem right by HMART and clay pot which is a perfect location. The mango was fresh and delicious and the tapioca was perfect! Not too chewy and not too hard. Definitely regret not ordering two but will be back! read more

I don't remember how many times I have been to Liquid Fusion. My favorite drink is avocado smoothie with coconut, large word extra tapioca. Serving speed is always fast. This place is usually busy during night time and great for small group hang out. It has been established for decades, I have a lot of memories with this place. read more
Long overdue review: I've been going to this liquid fusion location for yearsss. It's definitely been over 10 years. Probably my favorite bubble tea joint around me. I'm pretty basic so I usually get strawberry banana bubble tea at many bubble tea locations (cz it's hard to mess that up). But at liquid fusion, they have what's called a strawberry dream. 98% of the times, I get strawberry dream with lychee jelly and tapioca. It's on the sweeter side and I absolutely love it... and it sure is dreamy. Their bingsoo is not the best, but it's alright. I'd probably get it again on days I'm craving bingsoo but lowkey, coffee haus does it better. The parking and seating space is limited but as long as this place is opened, I will go and get my bubble tea fix. read more

Got a coconut freeze with boba and lychee jelly. The drink was too sweet, i couldn't taste the coconut flavor, it just tasted like eating spoonfuls of sugar and the amount of boba pearl and lychee jelly were minimal read more
After eating dinner, my friend and I decided to end the night with bubble tea. Liquid Fusion was close by so we made the trip to get drinks there. I ordered two different drinks - One latte and one bubble tea. I ordered White Chocolate Latte and Honeydew Bubble Tea. Both were sweet and the latte was a quick caffeine fix before heading home. My friend ordered a combo bubble tea that consisted of Red Bean and Green Tea. We both enjoyed our drinks and was a great way to end the night. read more

Came on a weekday night. Only one guy working behind the counter. Nobody in front of me but yet I was waiting to order for over 5 minutes. I ordered two fruit smoothies and asked if he could split the tapioca into two smoothies. He said sure. But when I got my receipt, it showed that I was charged extra for tapioca twice. $1.3 for little tapioca. What a rip off! Will never come back. read more
