Fun capybara themed cafe! The theme was the overall sell. There is capybara themed merch (e.g., socks, enamel pins, and other cute knickknacks). There's also a bunch of claw machines as well as two photobooths. One of the photobooths had a giant capybara plushie ahhh. The cafe is pretty spacious and a fun experience. That said, the food and drinks itself were just average. I got a Hokkaido milk tea which was good but nothing special. I also got a pack of jjajangmyeon. Making the ramen yourself was a fun experience that felt like being in Korea. I'm glad they had a toppings station for free (different veggies), or else it would have just felt like overpriced packaged ramen. I also got the waffle stick with chocolate drizzle. This was my favorite of the food. It was bigger/thicker than I expected and the waffle bubbles were so dense and fluffy- I loved it. The employee there provided great customer service and was kind too. She helped us with the machines for cooking our ramen when we were confused at first. Also she was transparent in letting us know one of the desserts we ordered went bad and let us replace it with a waffle stick. Overall a pleasant, whimsical experience! read more

Super cute capybara themed bubble tea spot! The entire store is filled with stuffed capybaras and has several claw machines in the back. They serve bubble teas, fruit teas and smoothies. I got the taro milk tea at regular sweetness and it was good (I've had better). My husband got the lychee fruit tea that he said was okay. I also got the waffle stick with chocolate sauce. Would have been so much better if it was crispy. Also they don't have to go containers for it so better off eating it there, he tried to put foil over it and it just got cold real fast in the 6 degree weather in the short walk to the car. Capy Teahouse is a fun new addition to the area. You cannot adjust the sugar level since the drinks use syrup bases, but the service is excellent and I can see this spot doing really well. The late hours to 11 p.m. make it perfect for groups wrapping up dinner or karaoke next door, and the claw machines loaded with capybara plushies are pretty adorable. All the merch is capybara themed too and there's a constant reel of capybara videos playing on the walls, which all fit/make the vibe. The teas and coffees are a solid 4/5, and the french pressed tea at the end of the night is a nice touch. The surprise standout is the ube cookie, an easy 5/5. I am not sure where they get it, but it is worth the trip on its own. My only wish is that they eventually move away from fully syrup based drink bases so customers like myself can better control sweetness or leave it all out together. read more

Where do you even find capybara merch? I was crazy about capybaras last year after seeing all of the videos online, so to find that someone has a capybara themed teahouse is so crazy. So when I came it was kind of empty, and there were no pastries in the display cases. They told me that I missed the grand opening when it was super busy. I loved all the merch and found it reasonably priced. There was an area to prepare ramen and kiosks to order drinks. I ordered a fruit tea (they presented it to me then took it back because they forgot to add the boba.) The tea was good. I'd come back again after a visit to Hello Tokyo. The area was big and spacious with lots of seating. I love when people have a passion. Your passion is capybaras? Here's your place. I found it quite fun and I hope that this place does well. I came here during their soft opening and was excited to see such a huge space. there is the bubble tea counter, ramen bar, and tons of capybara merch. i also found it cute they were playing a video about capybaras on their tv. you order at one of their two kiosks since it was a soft opening, the orders took a long time to come out but in the meantime you can browse their merch which i found so cute and super reasonably priced! i kind of expected it to be overpriced. i may have accidentally on purpose bought way too much merch for my kid. i order their milk tea and thought it was good! staff was friendly and the owner was super nice. he said they were going to be bringing claw machines in the future. they also had a photo booth which looked fun as well! can't wait to go back! read more

Drinks are decent but what really sets this place apart is the space. They really play up on the trendy capybara with a capybara video prominently playing over the drink area, capybara souvenirs and trinkets for sale a cute photo booth, and plenty of seating and space to hang out They also have a ramen bar which is super cute and convenient for an easy snack. I ordered the Peach Black Tea and a Matcha, hubby said the peach tea was pretty good, as was the matcha! The cups were also super cute with little ears on some of the lids! I love the Capybara theme! It looks like they're still getting things setup in the store and there's a bunch of merch (capybara of course!) I enjoyed the tea I got but I thought it was a bit pricy. There was also an off-putting smell in the shop which was not pleasant. Plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall. read more

Came in for their grand opening weekend where they were offering 50% drinks, unheard of! We ordered off of their kiosks, there were two. Wasn't sure if they only had selected items available that weekend but there were really only 3 choices for the typically milk tea drinks. They had a variety of fruit smoothies, those were good, you could choose up to 2 fruits. Then we also got a Tiger Milk Tea which really is just like a brown sugar milk tea drink so sugar and milk. Capy Teahouse was a lot larger than I expected, lots of space to sit. Upon entering you can order at a kiosk. They had a nice selection of drinks and desserts. We ordered the Tiger Milk Tea, Mango Smoothie, and the Waffle Stick. While you are waiting for your order there's a pretty big wall of capybara merchandise, all at pretty reasonable prices. The waffle stick was really delicious, soft and a nice eggy taste. I also really enjoyed my Tiger Milk Tea also because they let you select the % sugar preferred (I picked 50%) so definitely kept it from being too sweet. Fresh fruit was used for the smoothie. I got the Hokkaido milk tea with boba and I wish I tried it before I left the store so I could ask for a refund. It tasted like instant milk tea powder and the boba was overcooked. I tried drinking it because I didn't want to waste a near $8 drink but I ended up tossing it. The shop is cute but they really need to work on their recipe. It also took a while for them to make the drink too, even though they weren't busy. If you're looking for better coffee/milk tea shops, you're better off going to W Coffee or Altea because their drinks are much better tasting than here.
