Wow, this HMart is probably the best one I've been to. The one in Aurora, Colorado has nothing on this one. This HMart is immaculate to say the least. I love how clean the store was, they have an amazing array of produce, meats and seafood to choose from, not only that but they have a HUGE selection of ramyun and ramen noodles plus a food court of amazing Korean bites. I'm thoroughly impressed by this store and it's basically everything Korea in one big place! I'm definitely envious of the folks who live near here and can enjoy this magnificent store.

    Lots of Squidgame branded snacks:)

This is a huge location:) Very organized and tons of choices:) Good lighting! The food court tables should be cleaned more often in my opinion. Over a great experience.

I saw a cacao fruit! For your reel I don't see it here often but I've seen most interesting fruits here. Always fun to shop around.

A glass display case contains multiple decorated cakes arranged on white trays, featuring fruit toppings, chocolate layers, and various frosting styles. The cakes are labeled with small signs indicating their flavors, such as strawberry, chocolate, and red velvet. The display is set in a bakery or cafe environment, with a countertop visible below the case.

Blown away by this massive H Mart!! Was on a time crunch but if I wasn't I would go through each aisle. The bakery is jaw-dropping astounding with its cakes to pastries, the flavors are unique too! There's a food court within the H Mart as well, next time we ever visit I would love to try their meals. The merchandise variety is enough to make your head spin from the options. Left with some soju and house gifts for some family members plus got snacks like prawn chips!!

H Mart is a huge Asian grocery store with a big food court inside as well. There are a ton of options - if you're looking for any kind of Asian groceries, I'm sure you will find it at H Mart in Niles. There is another smaller location for H Mart about 10-15 minutes away too (but that one doesn't have a food court). Even if you're not looking for any groceries, stop in and check out their food court for lunch or dinner - there are a ton of options ranging from sushi to Korean barbecue.

Hmart in Niles has long been one of the best spots to get Asian, particularly Korean, groceries in the Chicago suburbs and in the last few years has really attracted some top notch restaurant options to their food court as well. This really makes this a must visit spot for anyone who wants to get a nice grocery, restaurant, and shopping experience all in a single place. This is particularly useful on cold or rainy days to get all your needs met without the need to go outside and walk or drive to multiple spots. Chicago is fortunately filled with many large Asian grocery stores now from Park to Shop to Joong Boo -- and more! Still, Hmart continues to provide high quality produce, cooked food, dry food, frozen food, and more that continues to make it one of the top options for me to visit. Much of this comes down to their reliable quality of food (particularly marinated KBBQ meat) along with generally competitive prices. Though with special sales or on certain products, other stores may be cheaper at times -- in general I find H-mart prices to be generally low overall on all items. Another area that Hmart has improved on over the years is overall decor. Slowly, minor improvements make the shopping experience more pleasant over time, particularly with improvements in signage and product presentation. Things are overall organized neatly and labeled well. Checkout speed is also fairly good, with a good flow even when it's busy on weekends. Overall, definitely worth a visit for your Asian food and dining needs if you live out in the suburbs. This is a one stop shop for everything you need.

I haven't been to this H-Mart in a while, but since they updated/remodeled the inside - they've really upped their game! They store itself is laid out a lot better, nice modern signage to clearly label where items are. There also appears to be a significant increase in their pre-made food selection (large onigiri, roll selection). Also appears that they have increased in their Filipino food options as well. Definitely a nice staple store for Asian groceries. Just having it be in a center with Paris Baguette, ArtBox, makes it now a fun one stop shop!

Very clean at Korean standard clean which means high. That's why I love Hmart. Staff keep things very sanitary and good. They sell food and veges and fruit and Korean shampoo and appliances and aprons and there is also a food court. Seating for food court which closes at 7:30pm to 8:00pm while the store itself closes at 10pm. So much to try in the frozen and snacks section as well as meats and seafood. Huge free parking lot. Also a a free bathroom. And kimchi fridges and freezers and furniture also.

Ah yes, I snagged a few bags of turtle churros and a jar of Ume plum tea. It's always fun to come to H-Mart to see what's new. I couldn't linger, however, I had my directives and I was short on time. "...the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to H-MART. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there." -- Breakfast at H-Mart

Hmart in Niles is a classic and I love going to try new foods and get some fun snacks. On my most recent visit, I opted to get a meal from a restaurant advertising 50% off pre-made sushi and poke bowls. It turns out none of it tasted very fresh. My friend ordered 3 rolls and could only eat 1 of them. On a positive note, they have added a stationary shop and little area with claw machines. The stationary shop was so much fun and had the most adorable pens, notebooks, cards, etc.

I never heard went there because it had a Asian dishes in the food court. Service and very comfortable are great. Should recommend for everyone.

The wife says we came here once before many years ago but I don't remember it.  They've been at it here for 53 years since 1972. Normally, we avoid it due to the madhouse scene that is usually here (like when traffic can't even enter the parking lot from busy Milwaukee Ave because the parking lot is overflowing lol).  Well, it was -3F on a frigid Friday night and we were across Milwaukee Ave at the Jewel, and it was eerily quiet in Jewel, and we thought it was as good a time as any to also visit Jerry's lol. Well, it was relatively calm, and we found a close by parking spot, but there were still plenty of shoppers in Jerry's.  Their inventory is huge and truly impressive as are their prices.  No wonder this place is so super popular.  We picked up some cherries for $2.49 per lb and strawberries at a promo price of $0.79 per 1 lb container.  I would say 4.5 stars for our visit tonight, but really on their normal super-crowded shopping basis, I would still say 3 stars overall.  I don't personally think the hassle factor of shopping here for fruits and vegetables is worth it for the savings and the variety of offerings, thus the 2 star deduct.  But you have to decide for yourself, and apparently for many others, Jerry's is well worth the trip, and kudos to Jerry's for that and continued good luck and success to them.

Jerry's is still a gem of a produce store. They still maintain overall the cheapest produce you can find anywhere, and carry some unique produce you might not be able to find at other grocery stores. They also carry a decent variety of breads and pitas, desserts, and canned goods. The good value does come with a price though, as most of the time you'll be battling crowds of people while inside the store. Over the last decade I've definitely learned the times to avoid: Weekends and Wednesdays. Wednesdays I think they might have some sort of senior discount but it's also when they rotate their produce deals and the new weekly specials start. Though they have ample parking in the lots north and south of the store and along Milwaukee, during peak times it will be PACKED. I say avoid by going when they open or even after dinner as they're open pretty late. I find Mondays and Tuesdays to be a little less packed usually. Also, usually they have an entrance facing both North and South but the past few years during the winter time they've only had the South entrance open, I imagine to protect from the cold.

So I go to check out, get home, and then when checking my receipt do I see it did not take the $2.99 price.
