The strong plum taste of the boba and the fact that it was still so warm and warmed up my entire iced drink was a bit offputting. I didn't care for my drink here. Easy ordering on touch screen kiosks, and they sell cute keychains at the front counter. Pricing in line with other local boba shops, and easy strip mall parking.

Stopped by this cafe to get some sweet refreshing drink. Located in a busy shopping area, there's a parking lot but you might have to circle around looking for an empty spot. Cafe is nice, double entrance from the street side and the parking lot. Ordering counter is in the parking side, tables and chairs in the street side. You can place your order on the kiosk, otherwise someone at the counter will help you. Great place for bubble tea.

I've always passed by this particular Kung Fu Tea location and this was my first time stopping inside. I actually love how convenient this location is because it's inside a strip mall so there's plenty of parking to go around. My friend and I stopped by after dinner to continue catching up. I got the sesame matcha milk tea. It is now my new favorite drink at Kung Fu Tea. I never realized how well those two flavors go together and it was the perfect sweetness. I will definitely be stopping by more often.

Today I decided to try something different and got their Thai milk tea with aloe jelly. I feel that majority of the drinks I have gotten at Kung fu tea are disappointing. Considering how many other bubble tea spots I've been to this one is the least tasty one and the most expensive one. The service is good at kung fu and also the ambiance is of a cute bubble tea shop. There are lots of locations as well. Considering the drinks I have received from other bubble tea spots this one is not compatible to others.

This location of Kung Fu Tea is located in a strip mall of a market and various businesses. There is plenty of parking but this location does get very busy throughout the day. We came in mid day for a pick me up, and just moments later there was a huge crowd that came in, but the staff was super kind and had a huge smile on their face the whole time. For my drink, I got the Mango Slush. I was expecting more of a slushee like ones we'd get at 7/11 but this one was more icey with big chunks of nice. The cashier had said there was mango jelly in it but with the large chunks of ice I don't know if I truly got any mango jelly? But that's okay! My friends got to try a few different drinks and recommended that I try those next time. I look forward to trying other drink options, like their brown sugar or taro ones soon.

KFT has always been a reliable place to get my boba fix. I love their boba flavors and their slushies. What I like about this location is that they always make their boba tea perfectly and the workers are always nice. They also never run out of the matcha sesame milk tea which is one of my favorites. They do get pretty busy on weekends though so I would recommend downloading the app and order ahead of time if you don't like waiting a while.

Luckily I made two separate trips here on two totally different weekends. The first visit here was not pleasant as the lady working the register looked and sounded absolutely miserable before I even got to the counter. The line was long and she was not happy about the line. During my second visit here the lady working the register was absolutely happy and friendly and looked like she enjoyed her job despite again the long line in front of me. She was also very helpful in making recommendations and asking questions about customizing the drinks. The menu is vast and the options for customizing are almost endless. I absolutely adore this about this place and love that they have all the modern fixings and options available for your drinks. Prices are pretty fair considering the competition for Boba tea in the area. Parking is sometimes hard to find even though it has a huge shared parking lot with the strip mall. This is a very popular place with a grocery store and other businesses. I would definitely come back here after that second visit. The first visit did not deter me luckily.

Always love KFT especially when it's so close to me. And this location is a nice sit down place to study/relax with friends but is limited on seating. I always get the Wintermelon classic tea with 50% sweetness, but I tried the Strawberry milk tea today. Definitely recommend this drink for super sweet tooth people but this drink was wayyy too sweet for my liking. Even with 0% sugar, it tastes like it's 100% sweet so if you like less sweet in general, the strawberry milk tea is a no go. But the bobaristas were really nice and let me exchange for no charge because I didn't like the sweetness. Will always be coming back for my boba fix.

I forgot how good this place was that I managed to come out here 3x in the past week. The taro milk tea is delicious! I forgot that you can customize the sweetness levels here so next time I'll have to alter it to 50% sweet. The boba is perfectly chewy without being too soft or too hard and it was also sweetened. I've also tried the yakult green tea and that was refreshing without the extra sweetness. It was a nice guilt-free treat! Most recently, I treated myself to the taro pudding smoothie and that was delicious! The taro flavor was really potent (in a good way) and the pudding was firmer which reminded me of the Filipino leche flan consistency. I was practically drinking an ube flan! I think it might only be seasonal so be sure to try this out before they take it off the menu!

Service was good. They were very nice. Place was clean. I ordered a mango milk tea with grape popping boba. It was good, not soapy. Yes, you can select no tip. Please read the screen thoroughly.

This is a nice and convenient as well as newer (about 1.5 years) Kung Fu Tea location, being located in the JB (Joong Boo Market) Plaza strip mall. That means there is plenty of parking, actually on both the main west side as well as the east side of the strip mall, and there's a KFT entrance from either side. I ordered from the mobile app on this occasion and ordered a large Red Bean Wow Milk Strike ($6.25) and don't I sound like an expert now huh? As a heads-up, the current mobile app apparently has more limited choices on sugar level (either 100% or default low?) and ice level (either more or less). I got the drink with 100% sugar and less ice, and it was a nice, refreshing, and satisfying drink with plenty of brown sugar boba as well as red beans, and it wasn't overly sweet. Ordering in person though, you can pick from more choices of sugar level (120%, 100%, 70%, 50%, 30%, and 0%) and ice level (regular, less, and none), just fyi. It wasn't busy at 1pm and I asked the friendly attendants (Adrian and Kaylee) if they wanted to appear in a Yelp review. They were very pleased to do so and asked if they would become famous. I only committed to doing my best and that a Yelp appearance wouldn't hurt!

I ordered the wintermelon green tea. It's a little bitter. I hadn't had wintermelon in years and forgot what it taste like. The Matcha smoothie was good too. Too bad you can't customize the sweetness level like the other teas

Looking for diary free options, which they had a whole section for milk with lactaid (it doesn't work for my husband), they said they could substitute with oatmilk, so I was gonna get the sesame matcha one with oatmilk but the staff said that one specifically they can't do... I still ended up getting it with the milk with lactaid added (default). The flavor is just mediocre, not a whole lot of matcha flavor, and the sesame didn't blend very well, there were large chunks up top and too fine powders on the bottom. The texture isn't that good. I think it would've been better if it's thicker so the crushes sesame can suspend in the drink better and would be more palatable. The lactaid milk isn't really good, I'm not lactose intolerant but it gave me gas, so it's worse for me than a normal milk. I probably would avoid this drink if they can't make the two adjustments-- 1) make the drink thicker and blend the sesame better so the texture is more homogenous and 2) either use real milk or sub with oat or soy milk...

Couldn't decide which. So got TWO!

Loved how many options of bowls they had, though mostly it's different combinations of banana, blueberries, strawberries, cacao nibs, and coconut shreds. Peanut or almond butter are also selections, as are pistachios, which were on my Goin' Back to Cali bowl. For some reason, I was left with a medicinal aftertaste after eating my bowl, and I'm not sure if it was the açaí base or the coconut shreds that were the culprit. The bananas used were also not quite ripe and ready to go and tasted a bit green, if you know what I mean. It's $13.50-15 per 16oz bowl, and there are (cashless) kiosks where you can place your order. An introvert's dream! Easy street parking, and there are a handful of seats to dine in here. However, as…read morethe day approached, the weather forecast consistently called for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and possible flash flooding. We decided it was not a good idea to drive to an unfamiliar area in inclement weather and canceled the reservation on Friday night. We were fortunate that Social Inn is close by and is a great restaurant for celebratory dining. Best of all, they still had reservation available. As it turned out, it was just light rain the entire evening on Father's Day, but we didn't regret the change at all. Although the restaurant was not filled to capacity, it was bustling with many families celebrating Father's Day, creating a festive vibe. It's the first time that we met the owner, Daniella, who's so warm and welcoming. She invited us to choose from available tables in three different dining areas. We selected the table right by the lounge that had a large TV, homey décor, couch and cocktail table. It was also right by the big window overlooking the small and charming front patio. Our server, Chis, was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. I ordered a Lemonade ($3), my husband and daughter each enjoyed a glass of Mer Soliel Reserve Chardonnay (2 for $26). We shared a Grilled Octopus ($22) which was cooked to perfection. The warm, lightly charred pita points paired well with the creamy and tasty beet hummus. I had a Slow Roasted Lamb Shank ($39) which was tender and full of flavors. It was a very generous portion that I shared a big piece with my husband; and still had leftovers to take home. It made a delicious lamb sandwich for my next lunch. My husband liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) so much last time that he ordered it again. Our daughter enjoyed her order of Rigatoni Sausage ($23), another generously portioned dish that she couldn't quite finish. By the end of the meal, we were too full for individual desserts, so we shared a Crème Brûlée ($8), which was the perfect sweet ending. All in all, it was a wonderful dinner. With consistent delicious dishes, warm hospitality, comfortable seating, and a convenient location, we will definitely be back again.

Then, we discovered that the McDonald's which had been on this location for decades had permanently closed! What did we do? We visited the Love's Yogurt right next to it instead. The yogurt store was empty at this off-peak time. My husband struck a conversation with Henry, who had been the owner of the store for 18 years. He was very friendly and said that Love's had opened at this location for 38 years! It was the first time that we ever visited! Why? Because when there was a McDonald's right next to a yogurt shop, we chose McDonald's, haha. I looked at their menu board and saw smoothies, and I thought they were $6.50 each. I ordered a Henry's Special Smoothie which included mango, pineapple, coconut with pineapple juice and Love's French Vanilla Yogurt. My husband ordered a small vanilla yogurt for $4.05. The receipt came up to $13.77, with no itemization, just one total amount. Then I politely asked Henry, and found out that Henry's Special was $8.50. Henry's Special did not have a price on the small smoothie menu, and it was not on the wall menu board. When I looked at the picture that I took of the menu board at home, I noticed that all the other smoothies seemed to be originally $6.50, but at some points in time the prices were manually changed with an 8 written over 6, and the one on the top line still looked like a 6 to me from a distance. Forgive my less than perfect vision. I found that kind of funny. Before Henry went inside to prepare my smoothie, he was brushing away some debris on the countertop with his bare hands. I did not see him wearing gloves the entire time. Well, like a Chinese saying, "if you don't see it, just consider it being clean", haha. The Henry's Special was pretty good. It's creamy, sweet but not too sweet, and every sip had coconut bits in it. I just wish that the mango flavor could be a little stronger. Husband said that his yogurt was standard. It was a surprise that they also sell other savory items such as soups, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. The shop was clean and rather nostalgic looking. Henry said that McDonald's next door closed because the landlord increased their rent 2 to 3 folds. He said that they still have 20 months left on their lease, and hope that the rent would not increase too much. Otherwise, he would have to retire too. I hope not.
