Currently (July 2025), there is indoor and outdoor seating. The decorations are cool, the bathroom is clean with really nice hand soap. I have been getting the King Richard smoothie for as long as I can remember--Intelligentsia coffee, coconut milk, banana, and chocolate plant protein. My daughter got the Cinnamon Roll--plant based vanilla protein, cinnamon, and banana. She also got a Greek yogurt bowl with blue magik, chocolate hazelnut spread, honey, and granola for $5. I appreciate having a healthier option for a treat!

Loved how many options of bowls they had, though mostly it's different combinations of banana, blueberries, strawberries, cacao nibs, and coconut shreds. Peanut or almond butter are also selections, as are pistachios, which were on my Goin' Back to Cali bowl. For some reason, I was left with a medicinal aftertaste after eating my bowl, and I'm not sure if it was the açaí base or the coconut shreds that were the culprit. The bananas used were also not quite ripe and ready to go and tasted a bit green, if you know what I mean. It's $13.50-15 per 16oz bowl, and there are (cashless) kiosks where you can place your order. An introvert's dream! Easy street parking, and there are a handful of seats to dine in here. Plenty of smoothie options too.

When I picked up the drink, I thought, dang-weird, the drink isn't even cold. But the best thing about their drink products, and this was my first visit to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe, is that they use great quality foam cups that really insulate your hand from a long lasting and ice cold drink. Best smoothie cups ever! And the smoothie is pretty dang good too. Kudos, and thank you!

I felt so lucky that Tropical Smoothie Café is so close to home! It is located in the strip mall called Plaza del Prado, where Jewel-Osco has been there for decades. I passed by the mall so often, but had not noticed Tropical Smoothie just a few stores from Jewel-Osco! I did not have their app; I just walked in to order a Mango Monsoon smoothie. The guy behind the counter was friendly and efficient. He worked on the smoothie right away. I was able to leave the store with my smoothie within 5 minutes! There was only another customer at the time when I left. The Mango Monsoon was refreshing and not too sweet. I couldn't believe that I finished all 22-24 oz. in no time! It was delicious! I guess the price of $7.99 plus tips and tax seems fair. Next time I will try some of their food items on their menu too!

This Liquid Fusion location is my go-to for those times. I always get a blended fruit of coffee drink. Strawberry, mango, and honeydew are my favorite fruity flavors. The blended coffees are better than a Frappuccino in my opinion. My drink is always made quickly and everyone who works there has been really helpful and kind. The quality is consistent with their other locations. The space itself is bright and cute, and I appreciate the giant parking lot. Thanks for the emotional support and tasty drinks, Liquid Fusion!

There is also some pastry options including cakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, and more. This spot is not as busy as the Northbrook location, which is good if you're looking for a more relaxing spot to casually enjoy your drinks or hangout with friends. Prices are fair, not the cheapest you'll find but in line with this area of the suburbs. They also have tapioca, jelly, popping bubble, and crystal bubble if you want some variety. Overall, a relaxing spot to enjoy Asian inspired bubble tea and other drinks in the area with a good selection and fair prices.

This place is very nice. They really go out of their way to create the feel of a European cafe. The…read moremenu has a significant amount of French on it, and they play French language radio inside. I was hoping I could order in French, but they told me only the owner speaks it. The seating outside is also like what you'd find in Europe where there are many small round tables and wicker chairs facing the street. I would actually suggest going when it's nice enough to sit outside because the seating area is a bit cramped inside. I ordered a crepe and Liège waffle. Both were very good, although having spent a month in Liège before, the wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It was somewhere between a Brussels waffle and a Liège waffle. The former generally have many toppings, and this one had powdered sugar and Chantilly on the side. Liège waffles are supposed to be plain brioche waffles with little sugar crystals baked into them that you can basically eat with your hands. It has the texture of a Liège waffle, but not the sugar crystals (and not topping-less). It was good anyhow.

A lot of exquisite looking candies great for gifts. There's also a menu with coffee and sandwiches so it's also okay at lunch. Came in and it wasn't that busy to be honest. It's usually only a few people working here and it can be a wait to place an order. The prices are better on the beverages than the food which is pretty basic things. Certainly wanted to get a few things with chocolate. It's about $6 for a coffee. The one I got was the Mocha Beige Latte. Comes with a choice of chocolate. There's dark, milk, or even white. Food is okay. It's about $10 for the Avocado Toast. A rip off for a piece of bread. You can add an egg but it already costs too much so piss off. Among other items are croissants. These mostly have cheese, eggs, and ham. Got to say it has lots of chocolates. It's located downtown on Shermer at Meadow. There's plenty of interesting chocolates to enjoy and many of these are seasonal.

I am confused what Currito is trying to be. Is it greens, grains and smoothies as the sign says, or…read moredoes it aim to be a healthier version of Chipotle (Cure + burrito = Currito)? You can order from the menu's bowls, wraps or salad or "walk the line" and build a dish from the ingredients set up a la Chipotle. I ordered the first thing -- Superfood because it sounded healthy but I didn't know what was in it (my bad). The calorie counts, carb counts are not listed anywhere and not on the website. It was ok, probably more protein than I needed. Personally I could have done without the raisins (I looked it up - raisins have many benefits) so the salad was ok. My companion really enjoyed their Carolina grains bowl. We also ordered chips and hummus. I think because I am confused by Currito it won't be top of mind for me when I am selecting a place to eat. Do I want a healthy bowl, do I want a salad, do I want a wrap--will I be thinking of Currito? There were a few people stopping in to pick up and we were the only people dining in. It could be that others are confused by Currito as well.
