    This is the Harvest bowl
    Moni K.

I am a huge fan of Currito's grain bowls. I have few favorites from the menu already. The Carolina and Harvest are my favorite bowls right now because they are both very light great summer eats. If you want something with more flavor I recommend the Bangkok it's made with asian cabbage, cilantro lime rice, cucumber, shredded carrots, slivered almonds, thai-style peanut sauce, spicy cashew vinaigrette, and sesame seeds. No matter what you get it will be delicious! The restaurant is great, very clean, everyone working is super helpful and there's lots of easy parking.

Nourish Bowl. Fresh and delicious. Love this place!

Love this place for a healthier fast casual option. Better than Chipotle in my opinion and comparable in price. Nice spot for lunch or for the family, including my toddler. I've enjoyed the Nourish Bowl and Strawberry Banana smoothie. The chocolate chip cookie is huge and can't wait to try on a future visit. Place is very clean, and staff are friendly.

Fresh , well made , delicious food. Good for you and again... fresh!!! You can't beat fresh , deliciously flavored food. I have not tried the steak as a protein just the chicken or vegetarian dishes. I've liked the dressings as well. A good dressing is also high on my list of importance in food quality and flavor.

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! First time in and this was easily the best salad I've ever had. So fresh, tasty, not salty, and a ton to choose from. Huge fan and will be back!

I like Currito. The food is consistent and it's good for something quick, fresh and healthy. If you're a fan of Sweetgreen, I think Currito is really comparable. I usually get the Superfood salad, or I'll create my own bowl. I think no matter what I put in the bowl, the outcome always tastes pretty similar, so I do get sick of it, but it's a place I like to keep in my rotation for when I want something fast.

Awesome healthy fast food spot up in Glenview. It reminds of Chipotle with a Mediterranean twist. Similar set up with wrap, bowl, and salad options. I decided to go with the Monterey Salad with Steak and it was really good. All their ingredients are super fresh. You can fully customize your meal or build one from the set option choices with your choice of protein. Service was good and fast. Not too crowded during the week. Plenty of parking here. If you like Chipotle, you will like this place as well.

Walking in this place reminds me of Chipotle but with some Asian flare items. I ordered the Bangkok steak bowl. The portion is decent, though for the price I feel a bit small and the flavors are quite good. It was spicy though it had great flavor. There are a variety of toppings to chose from and you can even build your own bowl.

Chocolate Chip Cookie $2 (yummy and huge - the size of a salad plate)

Currito is a new (for our local area) healthy fast-service restaurant with many choices to customize your meal. The portions are VERY generous for the price - 1 entree turns into 2 meals for myself. Grain entrees can be in a bowl or a wrap. There are also several salads to choose from, as well as smoothies. The location is off of Willow Rd. in a large shopping plaza. The store-front faces Willow, and it's between Dengeo's and Panda Express, with the anchor stores behind it being Target and ALDI/Kohl's). My family absolutely loves this healthier option for quick meals - so much so that we've ordered from here at least 2x every week since they've been open. Dine-in, takeout and pre-ordering through their easy to navigate app are all available. The bowls are compostable, which I appreciate. Meals are customizable. If you order inside the restaurant, it's a similar counter-ordering process as Chipotle, or you can order through the app which is what I prefer. Optional protein choices to add to your meal are: chicken $2.50, steak $3, tofu $2.25, 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak $2.75. So far, my favorites are: SPICY THAI SALAD (greens, Asian cabbage, carrots, rice noodles, slivered almonds, sesame seeds, edamame, scallions, spicy cashew vinaigrette). $8.50. I usually add chicken to this salad (+3). BANGKOK GRAIN BOWL (Thai peanut sauce, cilantro lime rice, cucumber, carrots, almonds, Asian cabbage, spicy cashew vinaigrette, sesame seeds) $7.80. I usually add steak to this bowl (+3). SUPER GREEN SMOOTHIE (almond milk, kale, banana, agave, coconut oil, lime juice) $7 VITA BOOST SMOOTHIE (OJ, immunity boost - not sure what this is, mango, strawberry, turmeric, agave and lime juice) $6.50 I have also made a completely CUSTOMIZED BOWL with: arugula, kale, hummus, Granny Smith apple, roasted tomato salsa, tri-color quinoa, farro, corn salsa, curried chickpeas, spicy cashew, tikka masala sauce, slivered almonds, edamame, and chickpeas. OMG so delicious, nourishing and packed full of flavor! I was pleasantly surprised with the salsa and the guac. The salsa is full of flavor with fire-roasted tomatoes, and the guac is perfectly chunky. I sometimes choose the option to MAKE IT A MEAL. The price for this option depends on the additional item you choose. ALL of these options INCLUDE a fountain drink or iced tea. Chips & Hummus $4, Chips & Salsa $3.50, Chips & Guac $4.80. Or if you don't want a drink, you can choose any of the one add-ons for a lesser price. I find the decor very pleasing with simple lines and many wood accents. I do need to find out if there is a way to customize the smoothies. I'm trying to cut as much added sugar out of my daily diet, so I'd prefer to have the option of not adding those. The staff has been friendly, helpful and efficient for each of our visits.

To be honest, the food is really bland. It's good if you want to eat really clean and healthy, but it doesn't have a lot of flavor or taste. Next time I'll skip over this place and just go to chipotle across the street

Went to Glenview location, not just once but twice Food is delicious! But the customer service and the additude of the people who work there and the management is horrible. I gave them a second chance because I really thought that maybe it was an off day for the young women who was the manager there, but the first time I was there the women would not smile or anything no matter how kind I was, the second time the women was outright hostle in her behavior not just to me but to the people that work for her. The girl who came to the counter to help me wouldn't even look us in the eyes. It was a horrible uncomfortable experience. Both times. I will not ever go back which is a shame. The food is really great but that manager and employees there are so unkind.

On a rainy Thursday night, we finally had a chance to check it out because we wanted a quick and easy meal before heading to the Art exhibition opening in the Northbrook Public Library close by. The restaurant was not busy at the time. There was only 1 table occupied. After we settled down, there was another small table taken. Our waitress was friendly, but after she brought the Miller Light for my husband and a draft beer "Fist City" for our daughter, she forgot about my lemonade. I had to remind her when she brought our food. She also just brought 1 Fish Taco when my daughter ordered 2, and had to place another order again. Not a big deal. When we left and passed by her, she didn't say anything like thank you or good bye, just looking at us. It was a little awkward. Well, maybe she's just not very outgoing. Hope that I was not expecting too much from a little eatery. Now on to the tacos. There were hits and misses. The Crispy Avocado Taco was very good! It's my first time tasting fried avocado, crispy and flavorful! I would order that again! However, the lamb in the Lamb Carnitas Taco was bland and rather dry. it's the first time that I ever had lamb that had no flavor. Although the mango slaw had a nice crunch, tart and refreshing, and went well with the lamb meat, it was skimpy and not enough to top all the meat. I joked to my husband that maybe that's the taste of munching on cardboard! I don't like to waste food and I wasn't full, but I could not continue eating, and had to waste half of the lamb taco. Husband thought that his Blackened Salmon Taco was OK, but his Steak Taco was not, since every bite of steak had gristle. He was surprised since that was supposed to be their signature taco. Daughter's 2 Fish tacos were good, except that she didn't like the flour taco shells. She prefers corn taco shells. My lamb taco had corn taco shells (2 layers) and the crispy avocado had flour shells. I love supporting local businesses and really planned to give Eataco 5 stars before we came, but had to deduct 1 star after we dined in. However, when I read more reviews afterward and found that many customers enjoyed the 2 bottles of salsa (1 green and 1 red) that came with the tacos, and we had no condiments of any kind on our table. Should I had a bottle of salsa, the Lamb Carnitas would have been edible. Unfortunately, I had to deduct another star. Our overall experience at Eataco was not bad, it took us only 55 minutes for the meal. It fits the bill when you need something quick and simple.

Given it was a Saturday, there was an annual art fair in the Village Green close by, and the Mother's Day weekend, we expected it to be very busy, and it was justifiable so.  There was a rather long line placing orders at the cashier, but it moved quickly.  There were many laminated menus for us to read while waiting in line.  The cashier was friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions.  Our daughter ordered an Avocado Toast and a Berry Zen Refresher.  My husband and I found that a good idea, and each of us also ordered an Avocado Toast, although I had hoped that I got different types of dishes to photograph, lol.  Husband had a Cappuccino, and I had a large Iced Pistachio Latte (oat milk).  This simple brunch came up to $77.34 with tip, and it's worth it. All 3 Avocado Toasts were perfectly made.  All the ingredients were very fresh, although there wasn't a lot of seasoning, the taste of each ingredient worked well together to achieve a delicious dish.  I especially liked the over easy egg and the crispy edges of the warm toast.  My Iced Pistachio Latte was very good without being too sweet. Although the food and drinks were the star, the ambiance was so pleasing and relaxed that totally elevated the entire experience.  The dining room with high ceiling and chandeliers was spacious and beautiful.  There were many different types of seating for patrons -- big comfy couches, regular tables, high-tops, small booths, conference rooms with long table and chairs, small private rooms... not to mention about the large sheltered patio with many tables and seats!  As I have mentioned, we went at a busy time, there were not a lot of tables left for dining purposes, we opted for a high-top.  Even though the venue was almost filled to capacity, it still felt very airy and comfortable.  I could just chill there happily for half a day with my latte! However, there were small hiccups that fortunately did not ruin our first experience there.  My husband's and daughter's drink came out almost instantly after we sat down, but I had to chase down a staff (there's no servers except for the staff who delivered the dishes or cleaned tables) to tell him that my drink was missing.  I told him that it's supposed to be cold but with no ice.  He immediately got me a Pistachio Latte but with ice.  The cashier lady had specified no ice on when she placed the order for me, I talked to her about this and she offered to make me a new one, but I had already had a sip and didn't want to put the drink to waste, so I just kept it.  I later scooped out all the ice so that it did not dilute my drink, and it was good.  I must mention that the food came out in just 5 minutes even though the place was busy. Our high-top table wobbled when we used our knives and forks to cut the toasts, not a very big deal, but the restaurant could easily have that fixed as I am pointing it out now, It's one of the high-tops under the BB sign. This brunch kicked off a very happy Mother's Day weekend.  I was in a very good mood going to the art fair from Bean Bar.  We will definitely return to try the many other items on their menu.

My main issue is the drinks. I've had a couple that were good, like the pistachio latte and dirty lavender chai, but most need improvement. They often taste watered down or mostly like milk rather than the actual flavor. The rose latte, London Fog matcha latte, Turkish coffee, and cardamom cinnamon latte all felt pretty weak. The $0.75 charge for alternative milk also feels high given the drink prices. The bakery items are hit or miss. The tomato basil Danish ($7.50) was delicious, but some cakes and pastries we've tried have been dry. I keep coming back because the space is beautiful and convenient, I just wish the drinks and snacks were more consistent.
