I ordered the first thing -- Superfood because it sounded healthy but I didn't know what was in it (my bad). The calorie counts, carb counts are not listed anywhere and not on the website. It was ok, probably more protein than I needed. Personally I could have done without the raisins (I looked it up - raisins have many benefits) so the salad was ok. My companion really enjoyed their Carolina grains bowl. We also ordered chips and hummus. I think because I am confused by Currito it won't be top of mind for me when I am selecting a place to eat. Do I want a healthy bowl, do I want a salad, do I want a wrap--will I be thinking of Currito? There were a few people stopping in to pick up and we were the only people dining in. Given it was a Saturday, there was an annual art fair in the Village Green close by, and the Mother's Day weekend, we expected it to be very busy, and it was justifiable so.  There was a rather long line placing orders at the cashier, but it moved quickly.  There were many laminated menus for us to read while waiting in line.  The cashier was friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions.  Our daughter ordered an Avocado Toast and a Berry Zen Refresher.  My husband and I found that a good idea, and each of us also ordered an Avocado Toast, although I had hoped that I got different types of dishes to photograph, lol.  Husband had a Cappuccino, and I had a large Iced Pistachio Latte (oat milk).  This simple brunch came up to $77.34 with tip, and it's worth it. All 3 Avocado Toasts were perfectly made.  All the ingredients were very fresh, although there wasn't a lot of seasoning, the taste of each ingredient worked well together to achieve a delicious dish.  I especially liked the over easy egg and the crispy edges of the warm toast.  My Iced Pistachio Latte was very good without being too sweet. Although the food and drinks were the star, the ambiance was so pleasing and relaxed that totally elevated the entire experience.  The dining room with high ceiling and chandeliers was spacious and beautiful.  There were many different types of seating for patrons -- big comfy couches, regular tables, high-tops, small booths, conference rooms with long table and chairs, small private rooms... not to mention about the large sheltered patio with many tables and seats!  As I have mentioned, we went at a busy time, there were not a lot of tables left for dining purposes, we opted for a high-top.  Even though the venue was almost filled to capacity, it still felt very airy and comfortable.  I could just chill there happily for half a day with my latte! However, there were small hiccups that fortunately did not ruin our first experience there.  My husband's and daughter's drink came out almost instantly after we sat down, but I had to chase down a staff (there's no servers except for the staff who delivered the dishes or cleaned tables) to tell him that my drink was missing.  I told him that it's supposed to be cold but with no ice.  He immediately got me a Pistachio Latte but with ice.  The cashier lady had specified no ice on when she placed the order for me, I talked to her about this and she offered to make me a new one, but I had already had a sip and didn't want to put the drink to waste, so I just kept it.  I later scooped out all the ice so that it did not dilute my drink, and it was good.  I must mention that the food came out in just 5 minutes even though the place was busy. Our high-top table wobbled when we used our knives and forks to cut the toasts, not a very big deal, but the restaurant could easily have that fixed as I am pointing it out now, It's one of the high-tops under the BB sign. This brunch kicked off a very happy Mother's Day weekend.  I was in a very good mood going to the art fair from Bean Bar.  We will definitely return to try the many other items on their menu.

They often taste watered down or mostly like milk rather than the actual flavor. The rose latte, London Fog matcha latte, Turkish coffee, and cardamom cinnamon latte all felt pretty weak. The $0.75 charge for alternative milk also feels high given the drink prices. The bakery items are hit or miss. The tomato basil Danish ($7.50) was delicious, but some cakes and pastries we've tried have been dry. I keep coming back because the space is beautiful and convenient, I just wish the drinks and snacks were more consistent.

Our waitress was friendly, but after she brought the Miller Light for my husband and a draft beer "Fist City" for our daughter, she forgot about my lemonade. I had to remind her when she brought our food. She also just brought 1 Fish Taco when my daughter ordered 2, and had to place another order again. Not a big deal. When we left and passed by her, she didn't say anything like thank you or good bye, just looking at us. It was a little awkward. Well, maybe she's just not very outgoing. Hope that I was not expecting too much from a little eatery. Now on to the tacos. There were hits and misses. The Crispy Avocado Taco was very good! It's my first time tasting fried avocado, crispy and flavorful! I would order that again! However, the lamb in the Lamb Carnitas Taco was bland and rather dry. it's the first time that I ever had lamb that had no flavor. Although the mango slaw had a nice crunch, tart and refreshing, and went well with the lamb meat, it was skimpy and not enough to top all the meat. I joked to my husband that maybe that's the taste of munching on cardboard! I don't like to waste food and I wasn't full, but I could not continue eating, and had to waste half of the lamb taco. Husband thought that his Blackened Salmon Taco was OK, but his Steak Taco was not, since every bite of steak had gristle. He was surprised since that was supposed to be their signature taco. Daughter's 2 Fish tacos were good, except that she didn't like the flour taco shells. She prefers corn taco shells. My lamb taco had corn taco shells (2 layers) and the crispy avocado had flour shells. I love supporting local businesses and really planned to give Eataco 5 stars before we came, but had to deduct 1 star after we dined in. However, when I read more reviews afterward and found that many customers enjoyed the 2 bottles of salsa (1 green and 1 red) that came with the tacos, and we had no condiments of any kind on our table. Should I had a bottle of salsa, the Lamb Carnitas would have been edible. Unfortunately, I had to deduct another star. Our overall experience at Eataco was not bad, it took us only 55 minutes for the meal. It fits the bill when you need something quick and simple.

My entree was the Cabo bowl with al pastor chicken. My first try was a bowl with carnitas and that is a better choice as it can be eaten with every bite of the other ingredients more easily. With the chicken I ran out of it before the rest. It is nice because you can add all sorts of toppings at no charge. One of us had the quesobirria taco which was very crisp and the beef stock had great flavor. Another is us had the beef fajitas. They were tasty and had a nice crunch.  I had a glass of Chardonnay and grilled salmon, while my daughter had a Birdie Spritz, burger and fries.  The food was flavorful and filling. The restaurant itself is clean with plenty of seating. It seemed slow at first but they had a good flow of customers, which was a bit surprising given how cold and dreary it was that day. It had snowed a lot a few days before; the parking lot wasn't really cleared which made parking a bit confusing and scary. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. It was served right from the oven cut into wedge shaped slices and was delicious. Our shared lamb Kebab was a very generous portion of large chunks of grilled lamb. Served in a bowl with its natural juices topped with thin sliced onions, it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to a perfect medium rare as we had requested. A side of the Georgian version of ketchup was an excellent accompaniment, tart, tasting of garlic and herbs with just a bit of heat. Service was very good, prices are reasonable, and the dining room spacious and attractively decorated. I may have caught them on an off night, and clearly other people there were enjoying themselves. But based on this visit, it felt less like a cozy culinary discovery and more like paying cover charge to awkwardly attend a party I wasn't invited to.
