I love a build your own salad place. Give me the all the options on a salad bar. This particular time I tried the pick 2 option and opted for a medium salad and a smoothie. When ordering, they called out the smoothie for it to be made at the other end so it could be ready by the time I got to the end of the line, but that ended up not being the case. I ended up getting the chicken club salad, it had greens, avocado, chicken, hard boiled eggs, dried fruit and more, with balsamic dressing. They asked me house heavy I would like my salad dressed which I appreciate. They even asked if we wanted the salad tossed or dressing on the side which is always great if you're getting it for later. The portions were decent for the price. Coming to the register, this guy who rung me up was also the guy who was to make my smoothie. He didn't tell me the total or anything he sort of just stared at me eventually I picked up that he was waiting on me to pay. Did that, and I waited around for my smoothie. And he eventually asked if I was missing something and realized he had to make my smoothie, which took some time because he had to go find the ingredients. We didn't mind waiting, but it just felt like the communication was off. The smoothie itself was rather chunky, we got the PB pro which made sense why they gave us a large straw sort of like a boba one because you definitely need it. Overall, we had an okay experience. I'd certainly come by again when I'm in the area to try other salads.

I was awaiting the opening of Just Salad. Apparently so was everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I loved Panda, but I'm always looking for a good salad. In addition to salads they have bowls, wraps, smoothies. I like that the menu lists calories, protein, even carbon emissions. The Buffalo Caulifloer salad caught my eye -- pickles, avocado and Tillamook white cheddar in addition to Buffalo cauliflower-- this was one tasty salad (320 calories, 12G protein, 1.33 kg CO2e), plus buttermilk ranch. Maybe next time I'll try the Mezze Crunch (regenerative organic chickpeas, hemp hearts, feta, spicy harissa pita) or the Earth Bowl (regenerative organic quinoa, Violife vegan feat, roasted beats and sweet potatoes). You can always build your own salad with a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. This is a smallish space with about four booths and four tables. I was considering taking my salad to go until a booth opened up and I felt rather conspicuous eating at the booth while there were people waiting. I actually took the rest of my salad to go (quite a large portion). My salad was great and I'll eat the rest of it tonight. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Omg! The worst smoothie ever! It's super grainy and tastes like you are sipping on a blend of tree bark, peanut shells and Temu protein powder!!!

Came in for a quick last minute dinner since we had an event to get to nearby. The place was not that busy but after us a crowd of people came in with a steady line. The concept is like a Chipotle for salad. Chose from either premade salad options or build your own salad. We did a few build your own salad. There are choices for the salad and you get 4 toppings of your choice, some in the metal bowls are premium options. Then you can get as many sauces as you would like. The salad was okay, but just what you may think, salad. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice.

Mezze Crunch, minus the regular items forgotten to be added

Perfectly greasy, and the caramlized onions and spinach really elevated it. Another person in our group had the turkey on a pretzel bun and said it was amazing. Also, a great range of drink options. There was a DJ and enough room on the bar floor for dancing and there was a television with sports on for the sports watchers. I also saw patio outdoors seating out back. Comes at the right intervals , and notices all the details to ensure we have everything we need even without asking. The food is good. Their pizzas are fun although we tend to focus on their salads. We both love the Thai crunch salad although it is much better with dressing on the side because there are two dressings and that way each bite tastes a little different. We also love their Caesar dressing - creamy and flavorful. Husband got it with shrimp and it was delectably seared with a a nice charred flavor. I like their wonton salad because other than the wontons, all the salad is actually vegetables - cabbage etc. but it's a little spicy for me so I get it without the chili sauce. Their bread and olive oil is delicious if you want some bread for the table - much better than it used to be a decade ago. The bread is soft and warm. The olive oil is seasoned. Husband also likes the split pea soup which is vegetarian and quite flavorful. Overall a cozy experience. Only caveat is that the host seems to seat people strangely. So if there's a type of table or booth you like and you see it's open, just request it. He's really flexible with requests.

We found this restaurant through the yelp reviews, and, as usual, the yelp wisdom of crowds was correct. The meal was absolutely delicious. Sorry, I can't remember the Georgian names of the dishes but the eggplant rolls filled with walnut paste, the bread with melted cheese and egg yolk and the lamb and potato stew were all great choices. The food tasted home-made, as if a grandmother had cooked for us with love in every bite. Lots of garlic - we love that. Washed down with a glass or dry red Georgian wine, a perfect pairing. We were fully satisfied with our main dishes so were not able to try dessert. Next time. The atmosphere was nice - tablecloths on the table, friendly service, not noisy. We will definitely come back next time we are in the Evanston area.

Large $16 or Small $9 Nigvziani Badrijani (Stuffed eggplant with walnut garlic paste) - liked this a lot! $24 Chkmeruli (Traditional Georgian - style oven backed chicken soaked in garlic creamy sauce served in a clay pan) - sauce was thinner than expected. Tasted really yummy! Yes garlicky but not overpowering. I love garlic so I wouldn't have been unhappy if it was more garlic forward. Chicken didn't soak the flavor as much as I expected so it needed sauce to get the flavor. Chicken a little dry. $25 Khinkali (Traditional Georgian dumplings with a twisted top, generously filled with your choice of spiced meat, cheese, or mushrooms, 5 Pieces) - loved these! My favorite dish. Expensive for 5 though, even though they are big. Meat was tender and flavorful. $25 Chakhokhbili (Traditional Georgian family style chicken dish with red peppers onions & herbs) - chicken was a little dry again. Flavors were mild, I was hoping for bold flavors. It was good just not what I expected. Perfect if you're looking for something more mild in flavor without any spice. $25 chicken Ojakhuri (Juicy marinated kabob pieces baked with potatoes and onions, seasoned with traditional Georgian spices and served sizzling in a rustic clay pan) - chicken a little dry again. Potato's were the winner here, garlicky and flavorful! Barely any onions. Price - expensive Portion - good portion, also keeping in mind price is high so it's good the portion is reasonable Service - great! Didn't check on us much though

My boyfriend and I ordered chicken to share as well as waffle fries. My daughter ordered a burger. My aunt ordered chicken as well. My uncle ordered a bowl of sorts with rice and meat. The person taking our order was friendly, patient, and told us to move tables around to accommodate our party of five plus all of the food. The staff also kept giving us free items to try as we were eating, like French fries and a banana pudding. The banana pudding was not large enough to share with everyone so I waited until I was back in the car to head to bingo and split it with my boyfriend. It tasted like banana Laffy Taffy so I am not sure how I feel about that. The breasted chicken was cooked to order, hot, crispy, and had a little kick to it. The rice was flavorful. The onion rings were okay. The waffle fries were definitely superior to the traditional ones. The hamburger was good! The restaurant space was clean, quiet, and spacious.
