My first time here. Came late around 1:30. IOt's kitty corner to the huge Wayfair store. I kinda expected it to be like Sweetgreens which I wasn't impressed with. Wow this place is sooo much better than SG. Wife got the spicy chicken salad with poblano dressing. I got the honey chicken wrap. We ate in and I think as a result our portion size seemed huge. It came in a large wide bowl. OMG the flavor was so good. They ask you if you want to go heavy light or medium on the dressing. We went medium. It was perfectly dressed with fresh greens, and tortilla chips and chicken, avocado, red onions and cojita cheese. It was one of the best salads I've had. Enough to feed two. The honey chicken wrap was also huge. Fresh greens with corn and shopped chicken in fresh tortilla. I would definitely return. read more

Food is fresh, lots of stuff to choose from. The bowl was plenty for one person and probably could feed two. It was nice enough for us to sit outside. The only thing I did not like was my cookie which I did not take a picture of, but it looked like a tollhouse cookie that got baked in a square and that in a great way. read more

I've been here four times already because it's quick, convenient, and consistently good. I like that Just Salad has much more than just salads they offer warm bowls, wraps, and other options, so there's something for everyone. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the Pick 2 combo for $15.99 is a really good value. My favorites so far have been the Market Plate, the Fajita Market Plate, and the Peruvian Chicken, all of which I've enjoyed. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'd love to see even more variety, but overall it's a great spot for a fast, healthy meal. read more

I love a build your own salad place. Give me the all the options on a salad bar. This particular time I tried the pick 2 option and opted for a medium salad and a smoothie. When ordering, they called out the smoothie for it to be made at the other end so it could be ready by the time I got to the end of the line, but that ended up not being the case. I ended up getting the chicken club salad, it had greens, avocado, chicken, hard boiled eggs, dried fruit and more, with balsamic dressing. They asked me house heavy I would like my salad dressed which I appreciate. They even asked if we wanted the salad tossed or dressing on the side which is always great if you're getting it for later. The portions were decent for the price. Coming to the register, this guy who rung me up was also the guy who was to make my smoothie. He didn't tell me the total or anything he sort of just stared at me eventually I picked up that he was waiting on me to pay. Did that, and I waited around for my smoothie. And he eventually asked if I was missing something and realized he had to make my smoothie, which took some time because he had to go find the ingredients. We didn't mind waiting, but it just felt like the communication was off. The smoothie itself was rather chunky, we got the PB pro which made sense why they gave us a large straw sort of like a boba one because you definitely need it. Overall, we had an okay experience. I'd certainly come by again when I'm in the area to try other salads. read more

I was awaiting the opening of Just Salad. Apparently so was everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I loved Panda, but I'm always looking for a good salad. In addition to salads they have bowls, wraps, smoothies. I like that the menu lists calories, protein, even carbon emissions. The Buffalo Caulifloer salad caught my eye -- pickles, avocado and Tillamook white cheddar in addition to Buffalo cauliflower-- this was one tasty salad (320 calories, 12G protein, 1.33 kg CO2e), plus buttermilk ranch. Maybe next time I'll try the Mezze Crunch (regenerative organic chickpeas, hemp hearts, feta, spicy harissa pita) or the Earth Bowl (regenerative organic quinoa, Violife vegan feat, roasted beats and sweet potatoes). You can always build your own salad with a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. This is a smallish space with about four booths and four tables. I was considering taking my salad to go until a booth opened up and I felt rather conspicuous eating at the booth while there were people waiting. I actually took the rest of my salad to go (quite a large portion). My salad was great and I'll eat the rest of it tonight. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. read more

I'd skip this one. Looks like they have a good selection but it was not as clean as I was hoping. When we were there a staffer who seemed very unhappy to be there was working so sloppily and spilling croutons on veggies without much regard for who might be allergic. Came in for a quick last minute dinner since we had an event to get to nearby. The place was not that busy but after us a crowd of people came in with a steady line. The concept is like a Chipotle for salad. Chose from either premade salad options or build your own salad. We did a few build your own salad. There are choices for the salad and you get 4 toppings of your choice, some in the metal bowls are premium options. Then you can get as many sauces as you would like. The salad was okay, but just what you may think, salad. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. read more

I've come here several times already using the Too Good To Go app to get a surprise bag for $7, which has been a rice bowl with chicken, veggies, and other toppings in addition to a soup. If you're not picky about what you get then it's a fantastic deal for the portion they give! The food has been fresh and tasty, and the employees have always been welcoming. Two of the times I went I was greeted by Tori (sorry if I misspelled that) who was very attentive, friendly, and efficient with putting the order together. The other employees I've interacted with or observed have also been really nice and also working hard to make sure things are in order. Great place to get a healthy meal! read more

Yum!! That Mezze Salad was so good!! We tried Just Salad today; we hope this place succeeds and comes to Evanston! We ordered 4 salads and shared them all. We picked 4 of their options off the wall and the flavors and portions were great. We got medium dressing for all of them. Next time we will do heavy. It's very health-focused. Calories, protein, and fiber are listed on the menu with a lot of high protein options. The restrictions were clearly mapped out. They had healthy drinks available. We really liked the Saint James Teas. We took a star off because the plant chicken doesn't seem to be cooked right. It tasted like a dense dry crouton. We have been eating plant-chicken for 15 years, and they need help in that department. There are some comments on here about cleanliness and service. When we were there, they had a dedicated cleaner, wiping the counters between orders and it was very clean, so it looks like they have addressed those concerns. The customer service is still not warm, welcoming, and smiley, which obviously won't help their business. We don't care because we are just happy to have another healthy option besides Chipotle. This could be big. It's better than Protein Bar, Subway, Sweet Green, & Picnic. read more

Just Salads is Just Terrible. I went there for the first time in Wilmette, IL and ordered the Balsamic Chicken Avocado Salad. Two out of three parts of the title were missing. There was no avocado and there was no balsamic dressing that was supposed to be on the side. The chicken tasted like the freezer packed chicken you get at the grocery store. There were supposed to be two egg halves. There was 1/2 of 1/2 of an egg. We were laughing because it was hard to believe a salad could be that bad. I also ordered the Acai Protein Smoothie that tasted like chalk. I have no idea how Just Salad has so many locations when it is just so bad. I called headquarters because I hate writing bad reviews. I just got an "I'm sorry. You'll have to go up the chain to deal with it." I don't want a refund. I really don't want another salad.I just wanted to give some feedback without having to write a bad review. read more

Ordered delivery tonight -- 3 out of the 4 salads were wrong. Two of us got no salad dressing at all (despite requesting medium and heavy dressing mixed in). This is the second time I've ordered from this store in the last week. First time the food was great. I ordered online to have it delivered so I can't comment on the service or ambiance but the salad was delicious. And I don't even eat salad. This is why I gave them 2 stars. Today I ordered the same salad again (Mezze Crunch) with additions. (roasted chicken, goat cheese, and cranberries). I received the salad and my extras were there and so were the lettuce tomatoes and cucumbers. And that was basically it. Half the bowl was empty, unlike last week. They left off the pita chips, the hemp, the chick peas and the side of bread. I paid almost $25 for a salad that was not only missing their regular items but also was half empty. I wanted to love them, but the order this time really ruined it for me. My co worker had a wrap and was smaller than last time; couldn't even take the buffalo sauce in the chicken. read more

Yet do the people in front of me they put their sauce on the salad and put like 3 times the amount of dressing yet no cost. Not that I can't afford it but out of principal. Ordered in app for a pickup. We customized 2 different salads and neither one had the ingredients we were supposed to get without the customization and one salad had none of the customization ingredients. We have no idea what the staff was thinking when they put together our order. We paid for extra bread and got none. We feel ripped off. The place was empty and no staff even acknowledged us. Great addition to Wilmette. Service was amazing. I had the Balsamic Chicken Avocado Salad. It was fair. Far too much romaine greens and not much of any other toppings - tomatoes, corn, avocado and egg. The oven roasted chicken was dry. The balsamic dressing was awesome. Just got home from my first experience of Just Salad Wilmette. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Very slow service seemed to be just pandemonium , unclean tables and floor, lettuce was old, chicken was hard to chew, I ordered and paid for a wrap only to find they were outta wraps and was left to take the very tasteless ingredients in a bowl. I am dumbfounded this place opened so unprepared. Would have done better just to get a bag salad at the Jewel. Good luck but Sweetgreens has Just Salad by a long shot. Unlikely I will return. They should have remembered the 6 P's. Prior proper planning prevents poor performance. read more
