I went here with my parents for Mother's Day. Everything was excellent. We had great customer service. The portions were ample and tasty. The place was quiet and clean. This is by far my favorite McAllister's location. To make the veggie sandwich vegan, I ordered it without mayo, and added mustard and black olives. This was my first time trying McAlister's. I drove from all the way in the city for these tasty looking sandwiches. I first walked in and I was immediately greeted and serviced. I asked for their recommendations (as it was my first time). The lovely person taking my order gave me multiple awesome choices. I decided on the Spicy Creole Chicken Sandwich, Cajun red beans and rice, and the sweet tea with strawberry puree added. This is hands down one of the best meals I've had in 2025. We didn't have to wait long for our order and the flavors were good and we felt it was a good value for the money. Located in a busy shopping center with plenty of parking. Stopped in for lunch. You place your order and it is prepared while you wait. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. McAlister's is know for hand crafted sandwiches,fresh salads,spuds and soups. Huge menu! We did the Pick 2 which let's you choose a half sandwich ,half salad,half spud,or a cup of soup. We did the Spicy Turkey melt which was very flavorful with roasted turkey,bacon,pepper jack,avocado, tomato and spring greens. I wish everything would have been spread evenly on the toasted baguette. The chipotle ranch dressing was very good My wife had the Veggie Spud since she is gluten free which was a full spud even tho it was supposed to be a half spud..bonus! 10/04/23 I was in Glenview today and found McAlister's Deli. McAlister's located off of Willow road in the same shopping center as Target & Aldi set back in the shopping center next door to Chipotle. In my opinion this is a definite step up from Chipotle. They have a huge menu w/many options & variations of sandwiches, salads, soups, deserts. You can get any combination of sandwiches, soups, salads....There are specialty sandwiches w/a P next to them that denotes a premium w/a small upgrade of $1.25. I got half Turkey on Ciabatta bread & 1/2 Reuben. You can also get a Choose 2 1/2 sandwich w/1/2 salad, 1/2 spud or a cup of soup or any combination. Cool idea. The menu options can be a bit overwhelming as they are many options available. Nice large cleanly decorated dining area unfortunately the sandwiches weren't anything spectacular read more

Sandwich was ok but they screwed up the bread and forgot my chips and pickle. Even the confirmation email states my bread choice and pickle. Why give me a choice if you cannot get it right. I believe I will move on from this place. Too much money for too little service and product. read more

We came here for an elementary public school fund raising weekday dinner.  They are sort of hidden in the corner of the Target/Kohl's strip mall and are close to Willow Road if you're looking for them.  This is a new and clean location and open for less than 2 years. Amongst the 5 of us, we had the following all for $42.82.  The kids' meals are amazingly cheap here! - Kid's pizza with fruit cup, $3.58 - Kid's mac n cheese w fruit cup, $3.58 - Choose 2 - angus spud w cup of chicken & gnocchi, $10.74 - Angus club sandwich with fruit cup, $10.58 - Horseradish roast beef with potato salad, $9.29 It was all healthy, economical, and satisfying for what it was.  It was a cold evening and was a bit chilly when we started off but it gradually warmed up inside.  I think the employees felt the chill like we did. read more

Been here mostly with work outings. Spacious dining area. The staff and service is friendly. The food is surprisingly good. If you are like me, the portions can seem a bit much, I usually get two meals out of one and end up taking 1/2 my sandwich home. I don't even bother getting a drink here anymore because they come in one size, gargantuan. Last I was in I tried the jalapeño turkey crunch and it was yummy. I have been to McAlisters several times. Food is pretty good . Portion size is smaller than it needs to be . I always have to order triple meat . The service is so beyond slow . They struggle to know how to work the register . If you are asking for extra meat it will take an extra few minutes for them to know how to enter it . In the middle of placing my order the cashier starts telling another employee what tasks she wants him to do when he gets in . I couldn't believe there was no common sense to finish the order first . SEAN is amazing person and amazing part of the staff at this location. Sean has always greeted people as they walk in the door at the register within a moment notice of our arrival. I'm a customer and I also do delivery for Uber eats and DoorDash for the location. But I notice someone special I make sure my voice is heard, and they are noticed. Please as a company notices as a company notice Sean, and as a crew, give him praise. Give him a raise, bring him up further within your company because he is well deserving of this and this will make your company even stronger. read more

I came here yesterday with my mom and my baby we had thought about going to chipotle but it seemed so crowded and I saw the deli. next-door was completely empty. We decided to go there instead I was very pleasantly surprised by the selections from salad and sandwiches too soup and the most shocking one was baked potatoes. There's not many fast food places that offer baked potatoes. It was delicious. They also have hot sandwiches I ordered the Italian beef. I'll be honest I didn't taste very good but everything else was very good. I also really appreciate the customer service. There is a young boy with long hair. He was so sweet and helpful. Anything I needed. He was so quick and nice about it. My potato got cold and I asked if he could please microwave it he did it immediately he gave me extra butter and was so kind. Always very friendly but for the life of me can't figure out why they don't toast the bread on their club sandwiches. The pictures all show toasted bread but I forget every time when it comes via delivery and it's not toasted and it has the mayo and mustard already spread on it. Nowhere in the ordering instructions to leave comments to ask for it toasted. I know this sounds weird but their sandwiches are always a bit of a disappointment and I think maybe it's the bread? This McAlisters has become my go to spot recently. When I walk into this McAlisters, I am overcome with a sense of calm as the restaurant is very clean and modern. The service is absolutely immaculate as the workers come deliver you your food and take your plates away like a proper restaurant. Finally, the food is outstanding!!!!!! First time we ate here. Great quality- I love baked potatoes and mine was topped with lots of cheese, and it came with butter and regular sour cream. Next time I'll get broccoli. My horseradish sandwich was creamy, spicy, and the bread is great. Our kids loved their meals and the prices are super reasonable. The entire place is very clean and the staff checked on and even came up to clear our spots as we were getting up. They seem very attentive to detail and were pleasant to talk to as well.
