All the bakery items at the Misericordia Sweet Shoppe are made by the residents and boy, do they seriously give Chicagoland bakeries a run for their money. We tried the vegan cranberry chocolate cookies per the server's recommendation, and they were heavenly. - Coconut cake: super light, creamy, airy, buttery, coconut-ty. Wow! - Yogurt parfait: unsweetened and serves with berries some deliciously crunchy granolas.
