This cute little bubble tea shop is one you should not miss! Set in a strip mall next to my nail place on Meacham Rd... the selection is great and the price is awesome! They also have fun international items like chips n candy for sale too! Discount if you pay with cash also! You really need to stop in if you're close! Support your small businesses and give em a try!
Best boba in the burbs for sure! 4/5 because it is on the pricey side. However, it's an amazing drink. I usually either get the tiramisu milk tea w boba which is on the sweeter side but if I'm feeling something refreshing I get a blended smoothie (strawberry & lychee) and add lychee jelly (10/10 for flavors). Service here is fairly quick and organized with ticket numbers. Ambiance is really pretty! Great interior decorations!
Really love this place! The inside is super cute and modern. Came here with my niece as she loves their smoothies. I've got to say I was not disappointed! The guy who took our order was very knowledgeable on their menu items and gave us the run down on everything. I love bubble tea and what I like about this place is that they also have little boba flavor "poppers." They seriously have so many flavors to choose from, including dragon fruit, strawberry, and lychee, just to name a few. They're a lot thinner than the tapioca balls and pop in your mouth. It was very entertaining for my niece lol. They also have Vietnamese teas and coffees on their menu. I'm sure they're great - our smoothies were nice and refreshing and tasted very good. Overall, they have a lot of different options on their menu and good customer service. I would definitely recommend coming here, especially on a hot summer day!
ordered a iced oreo milk tea, warm strawberry milk tea and an order of churros. a bit pricey for these drinks. the quality was okay, they had a weird after taste. the strawberry milk tea was good though. churros we're good and warm just super sugary. the inside of the place seems fine just looks like there's supposed to be more done to it
I love having a Boba place so close to home! I love the options they have. It's always yummy and the place is adorable. Love having a local business like this one!
Absolutely delicious. I've tried the strawberry fruit tea, strawberry pineapple smoothie, and passionfruit guava. They were all so delicious. Definitely recommend trying this spot, can't wait to try other flavors drinks.
Bobar is my favorite bubble tea spot! That's why I recommended this spot to my friend as we continued to celebrate the passing of his exam. I ordered Red Velvet Bubble Tea and he ordered Honey Dew Taro Bubble Tea. My bubble tea had a good amount of sweetness and left me satisfied after I consumed my drink. My friend with his newly created on-the-spot mixture of Honey Dew and Taro he was very happy with the outcome and pleased with how it mixed well together to a very yummy bubble tea combination. Great place to hangout with friends and drink bubble tea! Great atmosphere, bangin' beats, and friendly staff.
I am very impressed. The minute I walked in I got a sense of a comfortable environment filled with family vibes. The colors of the wall are white and nice decorations that enlighten the room. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba. The size is a healthy serving. I like the design of the cups and the amount that you get. The boba was soft and chewy and made for a great taste alone too. The milk tea had a hint of green tea mixed with jasmine and was the perfect amount of creamy. I highly recommend this place for your one stop bubble tea favorite and I'll be back to try more drinks very soon.
Came in to get a small snack for my Father's birthday and was enchanted with a delight surprise. The shop is cute and has a chic vibe. The drinks are very tasteful and there's a large variety to choose from. Our experience from the beginning was very welcoming. We were greeted and attended by the owner himself. He was forthcoming with recommendations and discounts the store had in place for cash buyers. Also, extra point is that they played spanish music . Definitely one of my favorite boba shops.
Cute little place that reminds me of the options along Milwaukee avenue. This restaurant has a nice assortment of milk teas, Hong Kong style waffles, and smoothies. Service isn't the fastest, but this isn't too surprising given the restaurant's focus on making items from higher quality ingredients (instead of powders) and the willingness to serve Hong Kong style waffles. The dining room is nice and spacious, with a fairly low noise level so it's easy to carry on a conversation or work on your laptop while casually enjoying some drinks. Parking is pretty easy in a lot that isn't typically too busy. The drinks aren't too different from what you'll find at other boba tea options nearby, somewhat similar to the options available at Fresh International Market. The bubble waffle is a bit more unique as I think Hangout Cafe is the only other place nearby to find something similar (or Japanese style at Mitsuwa). It's a bit "Americanized" for me, with toppings, syrups, and flavor combinations that remind me of what you'd find at a breakfast restaurant nearby instead. I would have liked options such as mango, dragonfruit, matcha, or other Asian inspired flavors. With that said, I enjoyed the waffle, but it wasn't amazingly good. Overall, good place to get drinks and bubble waffle. There is a good selection of different choices (including vietnamese coffee as well) and prices are reasonable.
Delicious, refreshing and friendly. I haven't had fruit teas in awhile since I feel tea bars are often in malls. Super convenient location wise since it's next to the nail shop I'm a regular at. I wanted something different from coffee as a pick me up and this quenched my thirst. The majority of the fruits they have are fresh which made a difference in flavor. There wasn't a gross artificial/fake taste. I got the mango tea which also had real mango pieces nice perk. Service was great, really nice efficient staff. Gave me some recommendations and provided nutrition facts around the boba and jellies. Only recommendation would be to add some more options with less sugar content.
We stopped by on a Friday night around 8:30, and the place was still bumping by the time we finished our drinks and waffles. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake speciality waffle and the Oreo speciality waffle. It did take some time for the waffles to come out, but it's because they were made fresh! The bubble waffles had a really fun texture and it was a lot simpler to eat because the bubbles are easier to cut than a traditional waffle with ice cream. We also had the milk tea and milk tea with brown sugar. The drinks came in pretty substantial cups and were refreshing and tasty. We'll definitely be back for dessert the next time we're near the area.
Bobar is a special bubble tea spot in Elk Grove! They have plenty of seating to hang out and talk with friends or to pull out a laptop and get some work done My usual is typically the tiger milk bubble tea or the banana milk tea. Consistency is usually here when you order any of their drinks. Only issues i've had is when there isn't enough ice and my drink is room temp warm at the bottom and I need to bring the straw up to the top of the cup If your in the area definitely give them a shot
Bobar is an absolute gem! We stopped by because my wife was craving Tanghulu, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the grape and strawberry Tanghulu, and both were incredibly fresh, perfectly crunchy, and absolutely delicious! The customer service was outstanding--everyone was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The ambiance was just as impressive: clean, cozy, and a great place to relax while enjoying a sweet treat. If you're looking for fresh Tanghulu, great drinks, and excellent service, Bobar is definitely worth visiting. We'll absolutely be coming back! read more

Such a cute place! Came on a Wednesday evening and there was a lot of room to sit, which was refreshing compared to super crowded coffee/smoothie cafes. It was very clean, well lit, and nicely spaced out. I had never tried the original / classic milk tea before and they were nice enough to give me a small sample before I ordered. Ended up getting the Classic Milk Tea with Bobar and it was delicious. Check in on Yelp for a free topping. They are the WiFi information listed in the front. read more
This little gem is hidden in the middle of a strip mall. Masks are required for entry, and indoor seating is not permitted, but there are a few tables outside. The line was not long when we arrived, but ny the time we ordered, the line was very long. Staff practiced Covid guidelines and they controlled drink pick up. The menu is extensive, including a large variety of add ons. I had the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with a shot of coffee. It was amazimg. The coffee is strong, but not overpowering. The blend of brown sugar with the coffee was a perfect pairing. We also had Peach Tea with Mango Boba. The peach tea tasted like perfectly ripe peaches, sweet with a slight tartness. Their boba was fresh , smooth and perfectly chewy. Their prices are reasonable, especially since the drinks are larger than most. They do require a minimum purchase of $10 for credit or debit card purchases. Definitely will be back to try their expansive range of drinks. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been here twice now, the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. There was one girl working and there was a line. Both times took forever. Purchased at 4:42 didn't get it til 4:57. Bubble tea was fast but way too sweet. Bubble waffle not worth it and not cooked all the way through. Picture posted for what they gave for 6.50. No follow up questions from the guy who was working. Overall, poor service from the guy, no smile, no did you want any boba or jelly? Just "hi" and assumed I knew what to get. Boba was small and over cooked (too mushy) I will be getting my bubble tea elsewhere. I've been to multiple bubble tea locations and because the first time took 45 minutes and the second time took 15, quick service is no their specialty. Vannie's in Aurora is awesome for bubble tea and if you're in the Schaumburg area there's Coffee Haus, Umbrella and Elitea which are all quicker, taste better, better quality. Place is always clean and service is always fast. Super cute decor and neon signs on the wall. The waffles are super under rated. I find bobar has the best menu options. The taro is perfectly sweet. Also try and pay with cash, you get a 20 percent discount! read more

I'm so happy this place opened up! The suburbs have barely any boba places in the area so I was very excited to find this. Their brown sugar milk tea was one of the best I've ever had. Loved the watermelon flavored as well, very fruity and not to sweet. The place was very cute and customer service was was superb. Already planning my next visit! read more

This place does a wonderful job about keeping their capacity down and ensuring a safe environment, which I appreciate. The milk tea is delicious and they offer a lot of options. The only reason I took one star off is because I paid extra for the cheese topping (after a friend recommended I try it) and it was barely there. And since this is what I came to try, I was a little disappointed. FYI, their credit card limit is $10, so bring cash if only getting one drink! Would definitely go back to try other flavors, but I might skip the extra toppings. read more
This place is really good! I ordered a chai milk tea, which cost $5.99 with tax. I would knock down a star for that, but I feel like you're always gonna spend over $5 on boba, so I'll leave my rating at 5 stars. You have to pay with cash if your total is under $10, so make sure to bring cash with you if you're ordering only one drink. Due to COVID, you can't drink inside, which makes sense. I sat in a chair and waited just a couple minutes for them to make my drink. I honestly thought it'd take longer since there was one person in front of me, so I was glad! My drink tasted really good, which I knew it would since I like chai. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors and other menu items! read more

This is the best boba I have ever tasted in Chicago. I have had Tiger Sugar boba in Vegas and this is a close second. The best part about this boba and what keeps coming me back is that they use non-dairy milk. I am slightly lactose intolerant so this is a life saver for me. That is my dream to drink good boba without getting bubbly gut and Bobar made that dream come true. read more

Terrible terrible place for boba. I order milk tea with pudding and they had almost no pudding. Look at the photos?! And they were rude at it. If you run out of pudding say that you ran out of pudding. Don't charge for pudding and tell people you ran out of it! Also artificial tasting milk tea. Avoid!!! read more
I took my brother here. We both had the classic milk tea. We both loved it. The cups are really nice, I'm going to wash them and reuse them lol. My brother also ordered Nutella waffle with bananas. It was really good however they served it with cheap plastic fork and knife so bad that he had a very hard time eating the waffle (waffle was cruncy crispy)his icecream melted he was still trying to cut it while they were bending in his hand. That's why I am taking a star off, they need to replace them with more sturdy forks and knifes. Decor is very nice, clean and refreshing style. I will come back to try strawberry tea, it seems perfect for summer. Enjoy! read more

I've come here about 4-5 times since this place opened and have tried out quite a few different drinks. So far all the smoothies have been great as well as the classic milk tea and thai milk tea. The other milk teas have had very little flavor which is sad, my husband and I tried the coconut milk tea, taro milk tea, and matcha milk tea, and they were terrible, we didn't even want to finish them. The boba has both good texture and flavor, lychee jelly and aloe as well. It's a new place and I'm sure they will improve. It would help if they had a dress code and were all on the same page, because I've had a drink twice and it didn't taste the same at all. I like the decor and it's nice they have some board games in the back. I will definitely come back for their smoothies as they were great and made with real fruit. read more
