A person is holding a large cup of milk tea with a straw, positioned in front of a decorative wall with angel wings and the text 'SHAKE FOR LIFE' and 'DINGTEA ROLLING MEADOW.' The wall has a metallic and textured background, with blue LED lighting at the top. The cup has branding that matches the wall's theme, and the person's hand is visible, wearing a green jacket.

Normally I order a black/green milk tea as a baseline to taste a new boba shop. But I tried a blueberry green milk tea in the hopes it would be as amazing as another ding tea in California. It was not. It just tastes like the blueberry syrup. I'm not criticizing the syrup itself but the lack of balance with a fragrant green tea. The employee graciously remade the drink at 50% sweetness but I didn't taste any change. No issues with service. Again, I appreciate that the employee remade my drink. There's a decent amount of seating in the shop to chill at. I would still come back to taste a black/green milk tea because I love ding tea in California.

Ok so as you can tell I love bubble tea. So last night we stopped here. Guess it must have been busy so they used different tapioca balls, but they were not that great. They also didn't have some items for drinks, but it's ok I finally settled for something else. You can sit, but we didn't stay. Side note.... Their washroom did not have toilet paper and the light did not work. Not cool because I already don't like public restrooms. (Sorry TMI) There was only one person working and it was busy.

A plate of bubble waffles topped with chocolate syrup, small round cream-colored toppings, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream is displayed on a table. Two bubble tea drinks, one pink and one beige, are placed behind the plate, each with a straw and branded cups from Ding Tea. The setting appears to be inside a bubble tea shop with a dark table and wooden chairs.

My first time ever trying Ding Tea. I was immediately greeted by the host Mimi who was making a drink at the time for another customer. I thought that was nice that she took the time to acknowledge a new customer while she was working on an order. She was very patient with me as it was my first time and I wasn't quite sure what to order. I decided on a large signature milk tea with black boba, grass jelly, and egg pudding. It was delicious and it wasn't too sweet. It was just the right amount of sweetness for me. I also met the owner Ryan who told me they have only been open for about a month. He was super friendly and he explained all the drinks Ding Tea has to offer. Overall, the drinks I got were very good. Prices were good. Customer service was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try all the drinks Ryan mentioned that were some of his favorites like the Hokkaido tea, and some of the foam toppings like the cream cheese and the tiramisu. I definitely want to try that. They also have fresh mashed taro they incorporate into their drinks which is unique to Ding Tea. Most other Boba Tea chains offer the powdered version of taro so I know next time to try that. I also forgot to mention I tried their bubble waffle which was delicious. It's not overly sweet which is what I prefer. Thanks Ryan and Mimi for making my drink and experience a very pleasurable one. I will definitely be back and hope more people come to try your drinks!

First time I had Ding Tea was in California and I was amazed! But in Chicago and suburbs it's kinda hard to find a place that lives up to Cali standards. This location has a cute atmosphere with photo opps. Upon waking in I got a lovely whiff of waffles cooking in the background. Lots to choose from on the menu but I decided on a guava green tea with mixed fruit jelly. Needed something sweet, but light after having ramen. Service was kinda slow but it looked like the lady was there by herself taking orders and making them. She did her best and was patient. Not a bad spot for tea, but nothing really stood out to me. I'd come back if I was in the area, but not drive out of my way.

My wife and I came here during their opening weekend. I stayed in the car while my wife ordered because our daughter was napping so I didn't get to experience the ordering process, but went in after she woke up. The space inside is nice and clean. Seating is partially along the perimeter; more space is allowed for standing and ordering but this was probably just for the grand opening since they had a dance performance earlier. Wasn't too busy when I went inside but we went near the end of the day. I got a matcha latte with golden boba and my wife got the oolong milk tea. Before coming here we checked the initial reviews and review of a friend who arrived before we did, which unfortunately weren't too great so we kept our expectations low. However I personally enjoyed my matcha latte and the few sips of the oolong milk tea. I thought it had a strong enough tea taste and the boba quality was good. I asked some other friends who came here later what they thought and they also enjoyed it, so it seems to be a hit or miss at this point but I can only imagine things getting better as they work through their opening stage. One thing I will say though is that it's relatively expensive for what you get compared to other places. It was $1 to upgrade to a large and $1 for the boba, so after tax it was ~$9 for one drink. We'll probably come back to try another flavor of we're in the area, but I'll keep it simple and forgo the size upgrade and boba.

Menu - Menu board listing beverage options including fresh teas, milk teas, slush, fruit juices, and hot drinks. Prices range from $5.00 to $7.25, with options for toppings and add-ons. The menu includes detailed selections such as jasmine green tea, taro milk tea, strawberry slush, aloe vera juice, and various latte options. Additional toppings and upgrades are also available, with prices specified for each.

Place is very new so I hope they improve. Only had cold drinks available. That is fine since they just opened, but there are no signs about it. Planned to get a simple hot tea, but that was not an option. Me and my boyfriend are both on restricted diets and asked about sugar in the tea options. Asked about the Matcha tea and they said it had sugar. I got the winter melon tea and he got the oolong latte. Both taste like they have sugar. I'm still new to the low sugar diet for health reasons, but there was no info about what was in the teas. Just a heads up if you have dietary restrictions and need to avoid sugar.

We went here tonight for the grand opening. It wasn't overly busy and we didn't have to wait long at all. We placed our order at the counter. I figured I would mention this since so many places seem to have screens for ordering now. When our drinks were ready, they called out an order number, but we never received an order number. They looked like our drinks, so I inquired and we received them. I got the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with the signature golden boba. I initially asked for the tiramisu top, which they didn't have yet, and then the cheese top, which they forgot :( (but still charged for). In any case, it was their first night, so no biggie. That said, my drink as configured (size Small) cost nearly $10, so that is pretty hefty! My husband got the taro slush, which he enjoyed. I likewise enjoyed my Oolong Milk Tea. It had that lightly tannic tea flavor that I wanted. It was sweet, but not cloying. The golden boba tasted like the tapioca I'm used to, but a softer iteration. The interior design is pleasant. The wings on the wall will be fun for photographs. They also advertised macarons and mochi ice cream. I had no idea! Maybe we'll try those another time - or maybe one of you can try it and let us know how it goes. :)

Inside - The image shows a beige interior wall decorated with multiple black-framed pictures and quotes arranged in a gallery style. The frames include photographs, illustrations, and motivational text such as 'Dream' and 'You are wonderful.' To the right, a large window reveals parked cars and a street scene outside, with natural light illuminating the space. The ceiling has a standard drop ceiling with tiles.

I did some neighborhood exploring on Labor Day and came across Ding Tea, which happens to be in the same plaza as my favorite taco place and next to the ramen place I went to. The cafe is spacious and clean. There were two workers who were kind and helpful. I got a small passionfruit tea with crystal boba because they ran out of tapioca. It came out to be $7.66. It was tasty, as recommended, but pricey for what you get. But for me, convenience-wise and taste-wise, it's worth coming back for more!

Had no idea that this place existed until today! I was visiting my dad's house down the road and while there, my sister and I were talking about craving some boba tea so I googled and saw this place was 3 mins away (convenient!). We ordered 6 drinks (I didn't snap a pic of the last one as it was still being made) and for the quality of the drink itself and the boba, I think the price is fair. I don't quite necessarily agree with other reviews about the pricing - to me, I'd rather pay a dollar more for convenience and taste and this place has both (for us anyways). Service was great! It was just one employee in there that I saw at the time who made our drinks. She saw me snapping a pic against the angel wings wall and asked if I could tag them, which for me isn't a big deal because I do this naturally on social media. The brown sugar boba tea was delicious. My sister got the chocolate milk tea and hers was also very good. My husband tried the guava tea and he loved his, it came with a different type of fruit boba that I didn't quite catch the name for. We also got two mango slushees for my younger siblings and a strawberry yogurt drink which everyone enjoyed. Again- pricing wasn't a big deal when everyone liked their drinks and it's 3 mins away. The place is small but still spacious; if there was a line in there, people at tables wouldn't be bothered as the tables are set back on the walls. Would come again and next time I'd like to try one of their foams!

I decided to come here since it was one of the places that closes late. We were the only customers when we walked in. Employee was friendly and she greeted us. Just to clarify, it was only one person doing everything. It seemed like after we ordered, that's when people started coming in one after the other. Then there was a huge group that came in. The "slow service" I let it slide since she didn't know there was going to be an inundation of customers pouring in. You know those clown cars where 20 clowns come out, yeah it seemed like that. I got the lychee milk tea with golden boba and an egg waffle with ice cream. I ordered 50% sugar. The drink itself was decent, not too sweet which I like. I do wish the golden boba was a little less chewy. They also didn't have the tofu pudding that I wanted. Egg waffle was crispy, warm, and soft. The ice cream was Oreo. Other than that, they had an adequate amount of tables. That's assuming you don't have the clown cars with 20 kids coming out of it. Prices were fair. Place was clean when we first walked in, not sure about after we left.

I am a bubble tea lover. Very excited to try this new place and I am not disappointed. We order taro green milk tea and mango yogurt drink with black boba, both were delicious. Black Boba was on smaller side but still chewy. Sugar level is on sweeter side. I chose 25% sugar level and it's kind like 50% to me. Tea flavor was not overpowered by sweetness though. They use real taro so you can taste small piece of taro in the drink. One of the best bubble tea place in Schaumburg and Rolling meadows area. (I've tried all bubble tea shops in these areas.) Will come back and try their golden boba.

decent tea spot... definitely heavy on the pricing! i got a thai tea with tiramisu foam and paid $8.21 while i thought it was good, the price definitely makes it hard to motivate me to drive out that way. there aren't too many bubble tea spots in the area and they do offer different different flavors than kung fu tea. cheese foam and tiramisu foam are an extra $1.25 hence the up charge. the other disappointment was they had posted on social media that they had vietnamese coffee with cheese foam and when i ordered that they didn't know what i was talking about . weird

Two bubble tea cups with sealed plastic lids are positioned on a black table. The drinks contain milk tea with visible tapioca pearls and toppings, with one having a pink-colored lid and the other a gray lid. The cups display branding and contact information for Shake for Life, a bubble tea shop.

came for their grand opening bogo deal and really enjoyed ding tea in general when traveling to other states so i was happy to hear one opened up in the chicagoland suburbs! it was good and standard! nothing too extraordinary from the bogo menu we had to choose from so we got to try their signature milk tea and oolong latte which both paired with aloe! a little on the pricier end for boba in my opinion

The image shows an interior wall with the phrase "Shake for Life" and "Ding Tea Rolling Meadows" written above. Two decorative angel wing sculptures are mounted on the wall, facing each other. The wall has a textured, metallic finish. To the left, there is a counter with potted plants, and to the right, a large window allows natural light into the space. The ceiling has a grid pattern with recessed lighting.

Straw & Bubbles Tea Bar is for sure my daughter's go to when she has a taste for boba/bubble tea or…read moreramen. She has been there with friends as well as myself multiple times. (I wish they had a loyalty program or punch card of sorts for her because of her affinity to the store!) Last night, she had a taste for bubble tea so we took her after dinner and we had some pleasant surprises in our drink choices! My boyfriend got the Cookies and Cream milkshake with oat milk ('cause dairy) and it was thick, delicious, and had a strong ratio of milk to cookie in it. Last time my parents took my daughter, I tried a Coconut Purple Berry tea and added tapioca. It is tea, coconut milk, and like, chunks of guava--delicious. I can tell you my daughter's go to is a Taro Milkshake which is milk and taro blended--very delicious! The presentation is appealing--it looks like white clouds in a purple sky. Other drinks I have tried include their galaxy lemon tea, a sort of ocean lemonade (?), etc. My daughter also lives for their croffles--I know she has had matcha, tiramisu, plain, etc. Last night's choice was matcha and there was not a crumb left in the box. Ordering is easy on the kiosk, and the staff is quiet, but friendly. I have been there with different sized groups at different times of day, and the food, drinks, and service are always consistent. Sometimes it's packed, sometimes it's not. Driving back home, I wanted to yell at all the youths in that green siren logoed coffee shop to drink something better across the parking lot, but I did not. I hope Straw & Bubbles continues to find Mount Prospect to be a good home!

We also got a plain croffle that went perfect with our drinks but will be back to try other treats they have!
