Nice owners, great addition to the local community. Games and books available to use inside. Select menu with sandwiches, pastries, and onigiri available. Variety of teas and lattes, unique flavors to choose from. Plenty of parking very accessible. Clean and comfy setting.

Ube latte win! Brought in my own glass, everything looks and drinks better in glass! Surprised no personal cup discount or rewards but I love these weirdly purple espresso mixes, cannot get enough, too tickled pink to find this hot spot doing tons of delightfully tasty desserts, large menu, and lovely staff! Got Lollipop stuck in my mind again! Noticed a fun relaxed atmosphere, plenty of parking in a great location, hope they do well here. Everyone come try!

Absolutely addicting! I've never had a bad drink here and I've tried a LOT. Matcha is high quality and the coffee is the perfect strength. The staff are always so nice and welcoming. it's a great spot for just a quick drink on the go or sitting with friends to chill. 11/10 such a great find

The staff was so kind and all the food was delicious! I am really picky and can confirm that everything was better than expected. They make their own whipped cream in house, the bulgogi cheese and pesto chicken paninis were perfect temperature and ideal crispiness on top. The hot ube latte was decadent, made out of my favorite conscious cup coffee roast, and the egg&cheese croissant was great! Food portions good sized and filling; Will be back again!!

We stopped by Re-feel Cafe in Palatine and discovered a true hidden gem tucked inside a strip shopping center near Algonquin and Roselle.

My wife and I had always wanted to visit them ever since then and we finally did after about 10 months. The place was small and charming with lots of neeat chocolate creations, as one would expect. We sampled a couple different chocolate pieces and as far as I can tell, they were good. I say that only because I'm not a huge chocolate person, and I don't have a huge gauge on what's good vs great. Since our main purpose of the visit was for donuts, we went ahead and orderes half dozen "premium" donuts. Turns out, the box that was gifted to us was a custom mix of their premium selections, which are fancier donut creations that require a bit more finesse and efforts for them to create. Apparently, you need to order ahead if you want to have a good mix of a dozen, which we didn't know. So we ended up picking from the available ones. They were still a good variety. I don't actively seek out donuts, but if I craved one, I'd definitely seek out Morkes.

Then--by pure luck--we stumbled into Hangout Cafe after dinner next door, and WOW... this place saved us. They have an amazing selection of drinks--coffee, tea, bubble tea, bubble milk tea, and bubble milkshakes--but let's be real, I was there for the bingsoo. Choosing was tough because everything sounded incredible, but I went with the strawberry bingsoo, and it was next-level delicious. Light, refreshing, perfectly sweet... 10/10. The service was fantastic, the cafe was clean and cozy, and there's even a parking lot (major win). We left already planning our next visit. Safe to say, we've officially found our new go-to dessert spot. Cannot wait to come back--HIGHLY recommend!

Their location is small, and it was pretty crowded (good for them). They have a wide variety of ice cream treats and shaved ice. We went for the shaved ice. Their portions are large, so a small is pretty big. I had a Pina Colada shaved ice. They do a nice job of rounding the top over the cup, which keeps it from dripping, too. They were generous with the syrup - it blended nicely throughout the ice. It was very good. We sat outdoors - they have several tables outside on the sidewalk. It was fun to talk with people at the other tables and watching people walk by.

The amount of flavors they have is only rivaled by the top bars of the 1800s and early 1900s. Step in the building and the whole place has early 1900s all over it which is great. It keeps the original hometown Palatine look and the staff inside even keep with the hometown styling and behavior. This place is like walking into a soda shop of the late 1800s early 1900s but with contactless payments and none of the horrors of then. The interior seating area was ample and the outside area is massive. Though this restaurant is completely wheelchair inaccessible so if you have such a need you'll be well served by their curbside dial in service that they offer for to go and disabled patrons. Docked one star due to total inaccessible layout.

As the person who has to order them, pick them up, and deliver them to the respective households, I really appreciated them having a dedicated "Paczki hotline" to pre-order, a very organized pick-up area, and heavily filled treats.
