While only two visits in, I don't foresee anything making this little cafe any less of an escape. Seemingly small, but not cramped, if you enter from the back (where there is ample parking), you'll be surprised by how you'll keep finding a new space around every corner. That said, if you're meeting a friend to get some work done, one of you might end up with your laptop on your lap, as most tables won't accommodate more than in addition to the beverage/pastry of your choosing. I've only gotten the cardamom latte and it is exactly what an infrequent coffee drinker wants and needs. Not totally bitter, but not totally a sugar bomb. Just rich with flavor. Come in on a chilly day as the sun breaks through the clouds, and let the woody interior warm your mood as your drink warms your interior. read more

Adorable place. Small and homey. I hoped for a lavender latte but they were out of lavender. I ordered a banana bread latte instead and it was yummy. The problem with it being so small is if too many people enter and are not considerate, it can get loud very quickly. It was not busy when I first got there and then some young adults entered and were a bit loud for the tiny space. Great experience overall. Will go back. They also have books you can read, and have another smaller room off of the larger room. Have a couple outside seats as well. read more

I've driven past this cafe many of times and finally made a stop in! This older house was transformed into a coffee cafe that has a front and back entrance, three seating areas, a music room, and main coffee counter. The inside is a bit dimly lit but overall very charming. They have a variety of coffee/tea offerings as well as some bakery items. While the menu is small, the quality of items seems spot on. I ordered an Iced Rose Cardamom Latte. It came with edible rose petals on top and was absolutely delicious! It did take a bit of time to make but was well worth it! We checked out Vintage Cafe, a local gem, and WOW -- the Dubai chocolate latte and the iced caramel macchiato had incredible flavor profiles. The Nutella Latte was our least favorite out of the three. The cafe's menu has more variety and additional flavor options than any spot I've seen! Very cute cafe that I found whilst in Schaumburg. It's a very cozy space. They have two seating areas, one with high tops and one with standard height tables. Apparently they have live music here sometimes, and there's an area downstairs where there are music and other lessons that take place. Apparently you can inquire about those lessons at the register. The drink I had was good. I had a gingerbread chai, which was one of their specials, and although I'm glad that I tried it I don't prefer it to regular chai. They had a good list of specials, but don't miss them like I did--they didn't have a sign up by the register, but instead a small sandwich board just inside the door. The chili chocolate latte I got for my SO was also apparently pretty delicious and had a nice bit of heat to it. Vintage Cafe isn't anywhere near me so I don't know when I'll be back but I would come back if I was around. They have a small parking lot in the back that's shared with the other businesses here. read more

I met a friend here on a Saturday morning to catch up over cups of coffee. He picked the location based on being equidistant from our homes and a place we've never been. Signage out front was good, making the storefront easy to find, and here was ample parking behind the building. The space is adorable - a few different seating areas are available, including outdoor seating when it's not frigid. I ordered right away and then snagged a small table. I was glad I did because the cafe filled up in short order! My vanilla oat milk latte was very good. It was a little on the sweet side for my preference, so I'd probably adjust that on a return visit. My friend ordered a chai, which he enjoyed, as well as a Danish that I was envious of. The ambiance is cozy with coffee-themed decor, faux florals, etc. It looks like we missed out on the benefit of live music, so we'll have to try again. The lavender matcha tea was frothy and not overly fragrant as some lavender drinks can get. The prices for pastries are surprisingly lower compared to other local coffee shops selling baked goods It's a little hard to hold a conversation at your table when the place is packed as it can get loud, but there's a few room options for seating. A friend and I wanted to catch up and looked up coffee shops in the area, and stumbled upon Vintage Cafe. Upon entering, you are greeted with smiles from the workers. They were patient and very friendly. Vintage Cafe is such a cozy and warm space. I am not sure, but it looks like it could have formerly been a house, as there are different rooms with various seating, relics, and decor, all adding a touch of comfort and welcomeness. I ordered my usual, an iced latte made with oat milk. I also decided to try out a leek pastry. The iced latte was smooth, with a good balance of espresso to oat milk. The leek pastry was flaky, buttery, and savory! I will have to try out the other pastries next time. The pricing is not bad at all, a fraction of the price you would fine at coffee chains.We loved how we could sit there for hours and never felt rushed out. We noticed there was outdoor seating as well, which is always a nice touch. Vintage Cafe is definitely worth visiting for quality drinks, food, and vibes! read more

There were 8 to 10 musicians, mostly guitarists. They were singing some songs from the 70's . I was so mesmerized, the server had to get my attention to place my order. I ordered a maple latte. It was perfect on a cold day. It is hard to describe the atmosphere, part music room part cafe. You feel as if you are walking into a warm, cozy house and being entertained in someone's living room. An old wooden house on a small local plaza with parking in the back. When entering, one will be introduced to a smell of a musty old house and not the coffee. The shop is a little quirky with wooden decor and generally welcoming atmosphere. The menu consists of coffee products, pastries, and crapes. We tried a couple of lattes. Despite being carefully crafted as we watched, my latte was watery and lacked flavor; the other one was pleasant. An interesting afternoon trip for a cup of latte. May be worth a visit for the decor and a change of pace from other coffee shops. However, the musty smell and diluted latte cannot lure me for another visit. read more
