One day, while searching for the restaurants with the best dessert options afterwards -- I became frustrated at how many places had a limited menu of choices and treated dessert like an afterthought. Since my main goal was to have a great dessert, I reversed my thought process and started looking for the best dessert restaurants that happened to be near excellent savory food as well. This led me to discovering Melt N Dip. While most dessert spots have a display case of locally bought bakery items, or a small set of options made in-house, Melt N Dip goes overboard with a huge selection of crepes, cookies, waffles, cake, gelato, milkshakes, fresh fruit, cheesecake, and more! This is incredible for someone like me who gets easily tired of monotony, since I can make many visits here and try something new each time with friends. The restaurant is on a great spot, close to the main road but far away from the H-Mart to avoid cross traffic. There's plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself is large, with very comfortable seating, and social media worthy decor. Service is quick and friendly, and prices may look a little high -- but once you see the size of the product and the quality of ingredients used, and the freshness of the fruit -- you'll realize that the value provided here is much better than similar items that you may get elsewhere. On this trip, I was able to try the Brownies Magic and Melt N Dip waffle. Both were excellent in their own way. The brownie was super soft and decadent, full of chocolate flavor. The gelato was smooth, creamy, flavorful and very refined. The fresh strawberries helped to tame down the overall sweetness of the dish, which was anchored by a base of delicious milk chocolate. The milk, dark, and white chocolate on top helped to tie everything together with a great burst of flavor and nice consistency. The waffle was maybe even the bigger surprise - as this came on a huge plate with lots of fresh pineapple, bananas, strawberries, and kiwi. One of my favorite things to do when on a cruise boat is to have fresh fruit with waffles, and this was an elevated version of that experience. Though the waffle wasn't really crisp, it accomplished exactly what it needed to by holding a generous amount of milk, dark, and while chocolate to pair with the fresh fruit. This was a phenomenal combination that has made me question if I'll ever look at similar options at a fondue spot or fancy brunch the same again. Overall, phenomenal desserts at a reasonable price. The fresh fruit and chocolate quality really shines and I have full confidence that everything else they serve here will match the same level of quality. This is a must return spot for me that is worth a special trip whenever I'm craving quality, consistency, and an impressive dessert experience.

Delicious made to order desserts. We'll be coming here after every soccer game we have in Schaumburg. Very authentic spot!

Melt & Dip is a delightful spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. The café has a warm, cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable, whether you're stopping by for a quick dessert or planning to sit and enjoy your time. The décor is modern yet inviting, making it a nice place to visit with family or friends. The dessert menu is the real highlight here. Their chocolate-based treats are rich and beautifully presented. From waffles and crepes to brownies and fondue-style desserts, everything feels freshly made . Specifically pistachio crepe is too good. The chocolate is smooth and perfectly melted. . Portions are generous, so it's great for sharing. Even Dubai chocolate is too good Service is polite and fairly quick, even when the place is busy. The staff is helpful with recommendations, especially if you're visiting for the first time. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality and taste justify the cost. Overall, it is a great destination for dessert lovers. It's perfect for celebrations, casual meet-ups, or simply satisfying late-night chocolate cravings.

This place never disappoints. For me if I wanna cheat, I'll just gonna eat.My dubai chocolate strawberry cup and stack of mini eclairs. I have been here multiple times.. each time it feels the deserts get better. Dubai chocolate milkshake is very heavy. I love their pistachio spread and kunafa in their cups. I have signed up for their program, I haven't received any benefit but hoping it comes out pretty good. I want to also call out they are always busy, she might be waiting in line to just order the food. But they're very fast once you order it's like a few minutes tops.. love the fact that the place is huge a good time spend with family. They give you a number tag for your order and they call out your number or they deliver to your table. Very positive atmosphere always a feel good feeling.

I'm pretty sure most if you know what you're getting into when visiting Melt N Dip. You'll practically be scubadiving in rich, Belgian-chocolatey, decadence. This is undoubtedly a once in a while type of place based on the sweetness level, but a place to try nonetheless. Currently, particularly evenings and weekends, this place is packed from end to end and loud. Service is exceptional. There are too many sweet menu items to name but they are all worth a try. Coffees are great. Gelato is also delicious. Get some!

The place itself is pretty big for what it is, and had a very cute aesthetic. The menu is quite large, containing different crepes and various desserts. We went with a pretty standard triple chocolate crepe for our first time trying the place out. It was HEAVY. I'm so glad they offered carafes of water with it, the staff were very nice and friendly. The crepe was absolutely delicious, but definitely sticks to the roof of your mouth with the amount of chocolate. We split one between two people, I cannot imagine eating one whole one by myself.

My husband and I went to Melt N Dip to celebrate our anniversary. We went here after going to a restaurant that didn't offer a dessert menu. I am a serious chocoholic and this is a great place to feed my addiction. It took many many minutes to decide what I wanted from their extensive menu. We ended up getting the Melt N Dip waffle and the Brownies Magic. The Melt N Dip waffle had a crispy exterior and was soft in the middle. It came covered in chocolate sauce and was surrounded by fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, bananas, and pineapple). The brownie came drenched in chocolate sauce and was topped with vanilla gelato and fresh strawberries. The plastic fork and knife that we were given had a hard time breaking through the brownie. The best part was that they use the good ingredients in their recipes. No Hersey's here! The restaurant was very elegant for a dessert shop. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to try more of their high quality chocolate creations.

The place packs on weekend evenings. Popular for big groups. Lots of sweet options to choose from, coffee included. My favorite is the strawberry dubai cup and I can choose dark chocolate sauce. In genZ parlance, awesomeness.

i always have a great but hectic experience here and only because it gets insanely packed! the desserts here are SO good. -#1 place to get the dubai strawberry cup. i've tried several from different locations and meltndip has THE best!! the chocolate is rich and very generous amount of melted chocolate and pistachio syrup. - pistachio gelato.. i'm not a huge ice cream type fan but this was absolutely rich in pistachio flavor and SO so good -dubai crepe. it was good and very rich. i personally don't like crepes and wish it was crunchier but still so good. place gets really packed in the evenings ( no matter what day) so order online or head in earlier. so worth it!

We've passed by melt n dip several times and it's been on the "we need to try" list for too long! This location is super easy to get to and has a large parking lot. There are large menu screens on the wall to the left when you walk in and you order at the counter. There's plenty of tables, booths, and bar seats along the window and you could definitely meet a group here. The menu is huge, and there's a significant amount of choices. There are crepes, waffles, gelato, drinks, and more. We were here on an early Saturday afternoon and we were able to order quickly and we sat in the window. We ordered a pistachio crepe fettuccine and I grabbed a bottle of water and my partner a cafe mocha. They give you a number at the register when you pay and then your food and drinks are brought out to you. The wait was not long at all for either the cafe mocha or the crepe. The staff that took our order and that brought our food were both very nice. When I say this crepe fettuccine was absolutely decadent, I'm not sure that even describes it. I had never had a crepe fettuccine but it's basically the crepe just cut up into thin fettuccini noodle like size. This one had crushed pistachios, white chocolate, some sort of pistachio spread that was almost like a pistachio version of peanut butter, and a scoop of pistachio gelato. SHEESH. The portion size was gigantic. Between the two of us, we could not quite finish. The gelato is so refreshing and remarkably light, really cutting through the heaviness of white chocolate and richness from the pistachio butter. A bite with a little bit of everything was everything I could ask for in a dessert. The price point is high, in my opinion, we paid $32+tip for 1 crepe item, 1 coffee item and 1 bottle of water, so this will be a special treat kind of place for now. With that said, we will definitely back! Thank you, melt n dip!

Delicious! Great atmosphere! Perfect for dates, families, friends or carrying out. I ordered the "My Passion" for one for @ $16.49. It came with fresh strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, bananas, brownies, marshmallow's and creme puffs. A delicious blend of white, dark and milk chocolate blend. Staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Plenty of seating.

Stopped by for dessert with friends. The dining area is large and clean. You order, and choose your seats. We ordered the banana crepe and fruit platter to share (3 adults). Both were delicious! Will be back.

Triple Chocolate Crepe (1) DELICIOUS highly recommended!!

Our Experience was good, not great…read more We did some research about all of the local ice cream places and our kids picked Kurimu because it seemed to be the most unique. Initial impression wasn't great... The smell was really the main reason why. The shop itself definitely had a smell, I can't really describe what it was but it was not pleasant. There was one person working, he was polite but did not have much personality. Most of our questions were met with him telling us that we ordered "over there" as he points to the register. It just did not have a very welcoming energy. Only of our kids got ice cream as the flavors did not catch them like they had hoped it would. My Youngest got a coconut ice cream with waffle cone (she loved it), it was a subtle coconut flavor but very refreshing. My oldest daughter got a match drink w boba, hers was also good but not her favorite. I ended up getting the soft serve mix (Tofu/Black Sesame) which was definitely unique and I did enjoy it but no one else i was with did. After checking out, we were offered free stickers which was a nice gesture and I talked about their Japanese Car theme which seemed to liven up the man working momentarily. My family was not impressed but I enjoyed the experience. Very unique compared to what we are used to seeing. I would most likely return, but I am not confident my family would follow.

It was good, but I personally didn't think it tasted much like tiramisu. That said, there were so many other flavors that caught my eye, so I'm excited to come back and try more. My sister ordered the jasmine milk tea, and she really enjoyed it. She especially liked that it wasn't overly sweet. Overall, this is a fun spot with unique flavors and a great selection. We'll definitely be back to try more!

If u don't want sweet, do 1 pump. The topping and foam adds some sweetness. Small/regular size was a perfect amount. I paid about $20 for 4 pastries and a regular drink. Very disappointing experience at Tous Les Jours today…read more The service was extremely rude. The cashier (long black hair) she had an unfriendly attitude from the start--no greeting, no smile, and it felt like she was already irritated. What made it worse was how both the cashier and the owner spoke to me. They raised their voices instead of helping. There was a promotion for 3 bakery items for $5. I accidentally selected 7 items instead of 6, and I clearly told them multiple times that I only wanted 6 and did NOT want the extra item. Instead of fixing a simple mistake calmly, they kept raising their tone at me, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism. This situation could have been handled politely in seconds, but instead it turned into a negative experience. I won't be returning, and I hope management seriously works on customer service.
