In the meantime, people who walked in got their order almost immediately. One of the best meals I've had in Baltimore! And the service is exceptional!…read more Oleum is an upscale vegan restaurant with a large variety of menu options. Our server, Josie, went above and beyond to take care of us. She provided excellent recommendations and was super friendly and attentive! We ordered the Batata Harra, Saltat Marrakech, and the Stuffed Dates for apps. All of them were incredible, but the Saltat was so refreshing and the Dates truly stole the show. The creamy ricotta filling with red pepper sauce was to die for. For mains, we shared the Lasagna and did a half and half pizza of The Gabriel and the Toum Raider. The lasagna was super savory and very filling--perfect to share! I enjoyed both pizzas, but the Gabriel was my favorite. I loved the combo of the nutty pesto and spicy Calabrian chilis. Josie brought out a cupcake for dessert to celebrate my friend's birthday, and it was probably one of the best vegan treats I've ever had! Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!

We were a few minutes late, but we had notified the restaurant ahead of time. The service was fine overall, but there were several things that made the experience disappointing. The menu was not explained particularly well, and a server repeatedly brought us food that we had not ordered. We had to explain multiple times that the items were not ours. We arrived around 6:45 PM for our 6:30 reservation, and we felt rushed throughout the meal because the restaurant had another reservation for our table at 8:15. While I understand that they needed to turn the table over, it made the dinner feel rushed, particularly since we had arrived only about 15 minutes after our reservation time and had notified them that we were running late. I was also disappointed that my birthday was not acknowledged at all. Despite noting it on the reservation and mentioning it when we arrived, there was no birthday acknowledgment or even a simple "happy birthday" from our server. Our table was also located directly next to the host stand, bathrooms, and waiting area. Several delivery drivers came in during our dinner and spoke very loudly while waiting, making it difficult for us to hear each other. The food was okay to good, and the service was adequate, but overall, the experience did not feel particularly special for a birthday dinner. Between feeling rushed, repeatedly receiving food we did not order, being seated in a very noisy location, and having my birthday completely overlooked, I expected more from the experience.

Authentic Chinese sports bar with delicious cocktails, food, and true Baltimore charm…read more This spot has only been open for about 6 months now, and I've been hearing great things, so I decided to check it out! I loved the mix of Orioles gear, Ravens memorabilia, and traditional Chinese decor. Service was very quick, server was knowledgeable and had great recommendations, and the food was outrageously good. I ordered the pork egg rolls (which I was told they roll in-house), the zha jiang mian, the stir fry green beans, and a chili oil margarita. The green beans were outstanding, which I was not expecting to be my favorite dish! The seasoning was like a soy garlic and they were cooked perfectly. The chili oil margarita was spicy, boozy, and something unusual that I had never tried before. The chili oil gives it a unique flavor and lots of spice. Although the food was a bit on the expensive side, the portions they give you lasted me 2-3 meals, which is definitely worth it. I can't wait to come back to try more of their food and watch some sports!

I grabbed a half chicken with fries and garlic sauce to split with my friend and it was more than enough food. I will say, the side of fries was a bit smaller than I would have liked and really salty, but that's me being picky. For rotisserie chicken, it's pretty good, but I would've liked a bit more seasoning honestly. Service was fast and friendly, and they do dine in orders where you can sit outside on the patio. If I find myself hungry at Fadensonnen again, I will not hesitate to grab some Chachi's chicken!
