I LOVE Sweetgreen for when I want a satisfying but healthy meal but this location is hit or miss with their dressing amounts. The inside of this location is clean and the staff are all very nice and friendly. While Sweetgreens are mostly the same throughout the DMV with their ingredients, and they have once never run out of an ingredient, this particular location is a little heavy handed with their dressing so just make sure to keep an eye on when they are putting dressing on or ask for it to be on the side. I love dressing but too much can make the greens mushy so it can make or break the meal for me. I have patronized this SweetGreen location twice. It is situated one a very busy street and finding parking can be iffy, depending on the time of date you visit. The restaurant is spacious and has been clean each time I visit. The staff is friendly and fast, able to answer questions about the menu items. During my recent visit, I had the Southwest Chicken Fajita Bowl. Unfortunately, they were out of corn, so she gave me a bit more chicken. I love Sweet Green. It's within walking distance from my job. Great location for the business community and tourism near the Baltimore Waterfront. There's plenty of salad combinations to choose from. Or you can make your own. Many fresh ingredients to choose from. Hummus, rices, avocado, lettuces, chicken, corn just to name a few. My only complaint is service isn't super friendly. I just go onto their website (order.sweetgreen.com), create my own salad bowl and pick it up - super easy! They have lots of pre-designed salad bowls such as Fish Taco ($12.25; 520 cal), Curry Chickpea Bowl ($10.50; 650 cal), Hummus Tahina ($11.50; 560 cal), Spicy Thai Salad ($10.25; 460 cal) and many more. However, I like to make my own. On their website, to create my own salad bowl, I select the following: Base (choose up to 2) - Organic Arugula, Shredded Kale Toppings (choose up to 10; the first 4 selection are free, rest toppings are extra $0.50 each) - Basil, Organic Carrot, Hot Chickpeas, Cucumber, Raw Beets, Spicy Sunflower Seeds, and Tomato Premiums (choose up to 5; these are additional charges) - Goat Cheese (extra $1.25) or Beet Hummus (extra $1.25) or Herb Falafel (extra $2.25) or Roasted Chicken (extra $2.75) or Steelhead (extra $5.00) Dressings (choose up to 3) - Fresh Lime Squeeze, Red Chili and Spicy Cashew Dressing On average, the above comes out to be 540 calories and $9.50. Also had red onions, cold sweet potato, apples, cucumbers, with goat cheese and ginger sesame Miso dressing which was very good itself. The bowl wasn't bad, but could have been fuller for the price. It's not as good as Cava for about the same price. I probably won't order again, just because it's not worth the price. But it was decent. Received multple orders with random substituted ingredients that weren't good (even when we paid for specific additions). It's surprisingly rare to receive exactly what you order -- not a one- or two-time issue. Their dressing options are good and come in separate containers. Watch out if you hate cilantro, because the spicy cashew dressing has a slight cilantro taste. Most of the ingredients are fresh enough, but they run out frequently and just sub in whatever.
