Theo's located inside the market was the most interesting spot we saw so we were pretty excited to try this place out. However, some of the items were a hit while some were more of a miss. I got the lemongrass chicken bowl and it didn't have have the taste of lemongrass and I do wish they were able to grill the chicken. Cooking it on the flattop did not help the texture paired with the veggies. The fries which I got for my niece seemed a bit overpriced without the toppings. The spring rolls were tasty. The bang bang shrimp was ok. The shrimp were soggy from being inside the container and all stuck together. My friend did like her pork belly and said it was pretty crispy so I would recommend that if you go here. While I do appreciate the kiosk style ordering, it seems a bit hectic because you cannot combine the order for the food/drinks even though it appears that they are owned by one. That said, even though it was not a lot of people, my order got messed up with another persons which I felt bad as I had ended up opening it before the store owner realized it was not the right one. They also did not call out the order # so I had to eventually go up to check which may have impacted the quality of the food.

The beef bulgogi bowl is my go to. All the toppings with the meat taste perfect together. I think the bulgogi is well seasoned and flavored. The lemongrass chicken was not my favorite - I didn't enjoy the texture as much and felt it could be better marinated. The boba tea surprised me! It was tastier than I thought and would definitely get it again.

This review is strictly based on the bubble tea we ordered as we did not order food. I love you can order at the kiosk and check in with the staff working if you have any questions. They have a major bubble tea selection along with a Vietnamese coffee selection as well (a fav of mine!) We ordered a peach fruit tea and a rose green tea. Both a 10/10!!! So good! This location is within the cross street market, there is plenty of seating and a nice ambiance in the market. Keep in mind it can be busy at various times. We look forward to coming there again soon to try some of the delicious eats!

Located inside of Cross Street Market, this is a great option for a lunch time stop. You can order electronically at the counter and staff are there to support as needed. They have several menu items, but I tried the lemongrass chicken bowl. The chicken was flavored well, and I got the sauce on the side. I didn't care for the sauce too much, but I would come again and try a different sauce. The market overall is very relaxed and makes for a great option when you have a group that all wants to eat something different.

Bulgogi Banh Mi with no mayo

A solid Vietnamese restaurant in the Cross Street Market. I recently went here for a weekday lunch and got a bulgogi banh mi without mayo. The prices were reasonable and there wasn't a long line to order. However, it took a while for my food to come despite the short line. I liked my sandwich-good portion size, meat cooked perfectly, good bread, and lots of fresh vegetables. I wish there had been some more spicy sauces to go along with the sandwich, as it could have used some heat. I would recommend Theo's if you're looking for fast, casual Vietnamese food in Baltimore.

Located inside the cross street market, this place is a gem! For one you get to order on a kiosk and get a text when your order is ready so you can still roam around the market and see if there's other things you'd like to get! Service was fast, and my order was ready in about 7 minutes. I got the jumbo shrimp bang bang (appetizer) as a quick snack and it was so juicy and lightly breaded perfectly! My friend and I were otw to the airport and just dropped in, ambiance is like a slightly more upscale food court! Would recommend and I'll be back especially since they have pho, bubble tea and other options!!

Unfortunately won't be coming back here again. We tried the mango green tea with 50% sugar and it was unbearably sweet. Basically just tasted like straight up syrup. When we asked if we could switch it out to less sugar, the employee stated that it wouldn't make a difference because of the syrup. So use less syrup then? or offer a less sweet alternative? 10000000/10 don't recommend!!

I occasionally go on a healthy kick, avoiding meat, dairy, and anything I genuinely love. However, I still crave delicious and flavorful meals. While downtown, I stopped by Cross Street Market. Unfortunately, my usual vegan restaurant is closed, so I decided to try something new. That's when I stumbled upon Theos Rolls and Bowls. I ordered the Meatless Fuss, a fried tofu banh mi sandwich with shoestring fries. The service was nice and I didn't have to wait long for my meal. While the sandwich was tasty, I wished it had more vegetables since it was meatless. Adding some toppings would've also been beneficial. When I'm eating meat again I think I'll give them a try, but for the meatless bang mi... I'll pass.

Popped into Cross Street Market for a quick tea before they closed at 10 pm. The woman working was sweet and made great recommendations. I tried their lychee black tea with lychee jelly and it was so refreshing. I personally liked this one better than Tiger Sugar. I thought the price was reasonable especially for the upgrade to a large that was less than a dollar. Within this location it makes it to grab and go from all of your favorite spots or you can sit at one of their many dining areas within the market.

Food: bowl, banh, and pork shumai were all delicious. Bowl and banh were both generous portions, too. Bubble tea: like that you can select your sugar level for the tea, still found my passionfruit green tea a bit sweet at 25% sugar. Also tried the strawberry tea which had real strawberry puree in it! Service: self service kiosk where you order and pay, they text when your order is ready for pick up.

Was in town for a conference and had a few hours before my flight home to NC. Found myself near this food hall hungry, and I'm so happy I stopped here. Had the Bang Bang shrimp rice bowl and as the kids say, "It ATE!" No lies told. Best meal of my week!!

Really dope spot for for bahn mi in the area. Came here to the market in Federal hill looking to the meal and of all the places, my nose led me here. I got a pork crackling bahn mi and my friend got the chicken bahn mi with a fried egg. Both sandwhiches were super delicious and I would recommend them. They also came with fries! Perfect for a lunch or a quick to go. They were also super friendly and the food came out fast! Lots of seating in the market. I know I'll be coming back when I'm in the area

    Lemongrass pork bowl

I am on vacation and taking time to leave this review! This is hands down the best lemongrass pork I have ever had. I'm not Vietnamese but am from SF, where I thought standards were high. I was completely blown away by this lemongrass pork bowl for a number of reasons: (1) You can taste that the pork was marinated for 24 hours using high quality lemongrass. (2) The marinade was not overly sweet, as many places are to accommodate the American palate. (3) The way they grilled the meat delivered a "just right" smoke flavor. I will be dreaming of this dish until I visit Baltimore again!

It was delicious, and absolutely large enough for two. It was loaded up with toppings and even had another layer of the toppings at the bottom. Toppings in the bowl include mochi, mango jelly, and mango cubes. On top is some mochi, mango slices, and a scoop of passion fruit sorbet. There is mango sauce and condensed milk throughout the bowl. The staff spent a lot of effort to make the bowl pretty and did a nice job of mixing the ingredients so that you don't have toppings on top only. The shop seems cute and there seems like there would be more things available when the owner is in. They have lunch boxes that look good. They also have takoyaki on the menu but the machine is currently down. One thing that I didn't like is that the item was different from the menu description. I was expecting mango snow and mango ice cream or sorbet. It's not the end of the world but I picked this one in particular because it was supposed to be mango snow. While the bingsoo is large enough to share, I also feel it is priced a bit high for what it is. Might be because there aren't many other laces like this in the area but bingsoo is usually bigger or less pricey. Overall, a decent stop for dessert if you want something a little different. Street parking was not that hard to find when we went.

Me and my homegirl were on a budget, so we only stuck to appetizers. I still think it was a little pricy even after splitting, but I would come here again to focus on the entrees rather than the appetizers. The seating is shared between all the restaurants inside the market hall, and we came at a pretty quiet time. Even though it was slow, we did wait quite a bit for our food. We were given the option to have our drinks served first, giving us some down time to mosey around the rest of the market with something sweet to sip on. We were notified that our food was ready, via text. We had the Curry Puff and Moo Ping Nom Sod. The Curry Puff filling was delicious, and the onion vinaigrette was essential to cut through the rich pastry. We spent most of our time in the food court mumbling through stuffed cheeks about how good the pastries were. The Moo Ping Nom Sod was good, surprisingly not as salty as other Thai restaurants. This enabled you to truly enjoy the vegetables it came with, as well as the steaming hot rice that came individually wrapped, ensuring that the rice would be soft even after opening the container.
