My fiancé and I went to Akira for sushi, but discovered they have such an expansive menu. I definitely want to come back to try out their ramen and rice dishes. I loved the decorations and the ambiance of the restaurant. Service was also great -- friendly, attentive, and helpful. We ordered the Love Roll and Baltimore roll. Absolutely love this spot! As soon as you walk in, the restaurant is very clean and has the cutest decor. Everyone here is so nice and the food comes out so quick! I have enjoyed everything I've gotten from here, if you try their ramen you gotta get the udon noodles! They are so chewy and delicious. Their shrimp dumplings were fresh, sushi was flavorful (Godzilla roll is a 10/10), and their Karaage Don chicken was so crispy! So I was craving some ramen and Akira had great reviews so me and my mom slid on over there. We were greeted properly by the robots at the door. The decor was your typical ramen spot. They had a great lunch special that included a sushi roll or a side. Me and mom dukes both got the shrimp tempura ramen. The difference was the broth. I got the pork broth and my mom got the vegetable broth. The vegetable broth was the winner hands down. I wanted to drink all of the broth. I love my experience here--the spicy Akira Ramen was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and had a lot of good fresh ingredients and I loved the little crab meat pockets. They were so good the Yaki udon noodles I had it with steak. It was the perfect combination of flavor and the texture was great. The Thai milk tea with Boba was delicious. I loved it 10 out of 10. I also love the takoyaki it was a bit too soft for my liking, but I but it was still good. It's just not what I'm used to. I also enjoy that this location in Towson have a hibachi and I got the shrimp hibachi with it had like broccoli carrots steamed rice and Yum Yum sauce --it was delicious. Very tasty! I have not tried a lot of Ramen yet but this was very approachable. They also have the sushi donut which is such a fun way to do sushi! Went to Akira in Towson for date night with wifey and daughter. We parked across the street at Towson Town Center. We were seated in a booth after a short wait. Very busy for Friday night. We shared the Baltimore Sushi Roll and we all ordered the Akira Volcano Ramen. The sushi roll was fresh and very tasty. Tuna portions were generous. Love the jalapeno. The ramen came out on the robot server. It was spot on. Broth was hot and spicy. Noodles were perfectly cooked. But the star was the chashu. This was not an in person visit this is based off of a door dash order so just note if I were to ever try them again this review could change. So I can't not speak on the ambiance or the service itself. I just wanted to small lunch so I ordered a few things from door dash. I got a Akira salad, fried chicken bun, Philadelphia roll and a spicy tuna roll. The only thing I enjoyed was the Philadelphia roll. The fried chicken buns had no flavor and I mean none. They don't have no seasoning on the pieces of chicken. The sauce did not help enough. The salad was lettuce, tomato with a cucumber, standard for that type of Asian salad however the ginger dressing was not good to me. It was way too sweet and I was not a fan of their spicy tuna roll. A real gem among the many food selections in Towson. This new spot has lots of highlights. It's location on the Circle across from Towson Tavern has convenient parking in the lot under the Circle. Very friendly and professional staff, including Kitty food carrying robot. Fresh, top quality food from Ramen to Sushi - great selection, good portions, beautiful presentation. The Canton location is much better than the Towson location. I used to love ordering the vegetable ramen downtown, but it was bland and flavorless at this location. Gyoza sauce had little flavor as well. Parking can be tough due to its location on a side street. There is a garage close by but I'm not sure if it's free or not. This place is a great addition to Towson. The food is delicious, service is quick and courteous. We had pretty much everything on the appetizer menu and the Japanese pancake stood out. The volcano ramen hit the spot. According to my husband, his eel rice dish was the best thing he ate that night (I didn't try it) and my 6yr old agreed. We have been here multiple times. But tonight we had a terrible experience. I told them I was going to write a bad review and they didn't care. So that itself is a clear sign this place is poorly managed. Don't go here. They seated a party of 12 likely grad students in a booth as well as in extra tables extending from the booth immediately behind my family of four. And this is the type of low-end inside construction where the booths connect, so if someone bumps the booth behind, you feel it hard. How stupid can you possibly be? Everyone working here is practically a kid- I assume the host learned front of the house management from a YouTube video. The party of 12 was extremely loud, kicking the booth repeatedly. And some of them ordered fake meals like a bowl of ice cream or a cucumber roll, so they didn't even spend much money. We put our orders in before the party of 12. But it still took ridiculously long for my wife to get her sushi. In fact her meal of sloppy looking sushi didn't come until after my kids and I had finished our ramen. So she watched us eat and then had to pick at slop sushi by herself. We brought up these issues multiple times. They responded, "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry" multiple times but never comped anything. They didn't even comp our three cans of soda or provide free scoops of ice cream. Plus the party of 12 blocked the open area, so we didn't get the robot. The only reason to really come here is the robot. They were "sorry" about that too. $120 for an awful experience. We're fortunate that we are able to afford screw up like this. But for some people this would be a really big expense. Not at all worth it. Ever. I told them at the end I was going to write a bad review. They said again "I'm sorry" but never tried to stop me. Just stupid. read more

I asked three times only get water, there are 2 waiters when we arrived, male, they are talking to each other without take care of customer on purpose, other table also need request water for several times, they deliver food with machine, that all service we received, and they charges service fee, I will not go to this branch any more, I believe some restaurants open but don't wish customer come. read more
