Akira Ramen has a great variety (see menu pics). I tried out some appetizers, sushi donut, ramen, and sushi. I wasn't disappointed with anything! The service was also good. They were patient with me when deciding what to order. It's very clean and spacious inside as well. There's a parking garage a block away (behind the restaurant).

Akira Ramen in Towson was a whole experience and it's BYOB. The food was amazing . Everything was a hit . The service was great . Also , a robot delivers your food to the table which is so cool . Towson is the only location that serves hibachi. They have lunch special as well . A lot to choose from on the menu . It's a cool spot and spacious .

Absolutely love this spot! As soon as you walk in, the restaurant is very clean and has the cutest decor. Everyone here is so nice and the food comes out so quick! I have enjoyed everything I've gotten from here, if you try their ramen you gotta get the udon noodles! They are so chewy and delicious. Their shrimp dumplings were fresh, sushi was flavorful (Godzilla roll is a 10/10), and their Karaage Don chicken was so crispy! If you're looking for a spot that does it all, you gotta check them out.

The ramen was good but I wish the service was a tad bit better. They have robots now to serve, which is to no fault on them to expedite things but it really removes the human "service" aspect. The place was decorated nicely and it was clean!

I love my experience here--the spicy Akira Ramen was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and had a lot of good fresh ingredients and I loved the little crab meat pockets. They were so good the Yaki udon noodles I had it with steak. It was the perfect combination of flavor and the texture was great. The Thai milk tea with Boba was delicious. I loved it 10 out of 10. I also love the takoyaki it was a bit too soft for my liking, but I but it was still good. It's just not what I'm used to. I also enjoy that this location in Towson have a hibachi and I got the shrimp hibachi with it had like broccoli carrots steamed rice and Yum Yum sauce --it was delicious. Definitely will come here again. Customer service was great. They had the cute little robots that bring your food to the table and the environment is pretty.

I went on a whim I was out Towson running errands and got hungry lol. The staff is attentive and friendly. I usually get the spicy tonkatsu Ramen this time I got the Akira Ramen and whew it was so good. I also ordered crystal shrimp dumplings and I think they taste so good!! Definitely recommend

Very tasty! I have not tried a lot of Ramen yet but this was very approachable. They also have the sushi donut which is such a fun way to do sushi! It was delicious with a mix of four different toppings- I chose tuna, shrimp, mango and avocado. The restaurant itself was pretty quiet and had spaced out tables. And they have a cat robot for serving which always makes me smile!

I was going to the Towson location so many times not realizing I had one near me too. I like to meet with friends and family and grab lunch here and or dinner too. I think this is a great spot with incredible service. The food is amazing. I tend to get the same thing which is Katsu And I like to pair it with Thai tea without Boba. The ambience is cute and aesthetic.

Went to Akira in Towson for date night with wifey and daughter. We parked across the street at Towson Town Center. We were seated in a booth after a short wait. Very busy for Friday night. We shared the Baltimore Sushi Roll and we all ordered the Akira Volcano Ramen. The sushi roll was fresh and very tasty. Tuna portions were generous. Love the jalapeno. The ramen came out on the robot server. It was spot on. Broth was hot and spicy. Noodles were perfectly cooked. But the star was the chashu. It was melt in your mouth tender and had a nice BBQ flavor. Akira definitely ranks at the top among my favorite ramen eateries.

    Sliced Beef Ramen (牛肉拉面)

Delicious sliced beef ramen. Was sweet and crispy meat, like mix between bacon and bulgogi beef. Also the yellowtail was delicious

The ambiance is so comfortable. I never feel out of place. The owner is super sweet and greats my friends and I when I bring them for dinners. The food is consistently good and comes out quickly.

LOVE THE RAMEN!!! and what's extra cool is the ramen is delivered by a ROBOT. My cousin loves it. If you go, also try the karagge chicken... chefs kiss. They are so nice, one time they even gave us some free desserts which were so good, like ice cream and cake; they were delicious. My sister loves their boba and I like the lemonade. The strawberry Milk tea is also one of our favorites. Sometimes they have anime playing on the TV which we really think is cool.

Came here on my lunch break with a friend. It's a cute Ramen restaurant in Towson near the round about. They have a cute anime decor. The service was fast. And our server was friendly. They use one of those robots to deliver the food, that was kinda cool to see. The food was decent as well.

One of the highlights (especially for families) is the robot cat servers. They're a hit with everyone at the table, from kids to adults, and they genuinely add to the fun without feeling gimmicky. The food is excellent and checks all the Izakaya boxes: yakitori, gyoza, and my personal favorite--takoyaki--are all done right. On top of that, they also offer sushi, ramen, and full entrée dishes, so there's something for every appetite. Drink options are just as solid, with Japanese sodas, green tea, and a good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages. This is a great spot for the whole family and an especially awesome place to host a birthday dinner for teens. We brought a 13- and 14-year-old group, and it was a perfect balance of fun, great food, and a relaxed environment. Highly recommended if you want good Japanese food and a memorable experience.

My only complaint is that all of the ramen broth is pork as I would have loved to have some ramen but I have a pork allergy. That said, the udon broth was very tasty and had a clean but bold flavor. It is probably one of my favorite broths I've had. You use the QR code on the table to order and the robot brings you your food. Our server also helped put stuff on our table from the robot. It's a very cute robot and sings about people being in the way as well as your table number. Everything we had was cooked well or assembled great. I really want to come back and try some of their other sushi rolls. The salmon belly was torched just right and the mayo complimented it well. The yellowtail was unique and the sesame paired well with it along with the pepper. I wasn't a big fan of the beef skewer because it was a bit sweet. The inari sushi has spicy mayo in it and I enjoyed it. The shumai stays hot for a while so just be careful. The green tea stayed warm throughout our date and was nice and hot when it first came out. The prices are incredibly reasonable and I felt the fish was very fresh. Our server answered all of our questions, which is how I ended up with udon instead of ramen. My spouse said his curry was delicious and he devoured it.

We were promptly sat, service was quick and fast. My chicken tantanmen was delicious. The numbing sichuan chili oil with the crispy karaage, paired with a nutty miso broth was just perfect for an overcast day. Those items are placed in your own pot which cooks in front of you. New Generation also offers a bar with lots of different self serve sauces and additional flavorings. The waitress assigned to my wife and I was very friendly. She took the time to go through the process with my wife and I. She offered many suggestions, answered our questions and was very attentive. She cheered us on if we were debating something and essentially was like "do it". Since it is all you can eat, she kept coming back, checking in and taking additional orders from us. The prices were not cheap but considering it is all you can eat and they have some ingredients that are a bit atypical, I didn't mind paying the price.
