Chicken Paitan Spicy Sesame Shio Ramen Peach soju

Kippo continues to be consistently solid ramen in the area! I love how quick they are to greet and seat you, how they help navigate the menu options, and how quickly the food comes! The soju is always fabulous and the food is excellent! I love the chill vibes and will keep coming back!

Amazing ramen spot in Fells! No line on a Sunday evening with plenty of indoor seating and quick service. Ordered the original tonkatsu ramen, and really enjoyed the creamy umami broth. The pork was very tender and flavorful as well. Comes with half an egg, green onion, crunchy seaweed. Noodles are a great texture. Hope to be back!

Flavors, texture and size were an automatic 5/5! It was easy to be seated and provided with menus. We didn't make a reservation, but I can tell it gets packed after about 2pm, so I'd suggest that. The Spicy Miso Ramen was soooo good and hearty, it was the perfect treat on a Friday afternoon.

Terrific little Ramen house in Fells Point. Spicy Miso broth was ON POINT and the veggie Gyoza are the best I've had in the DelMarVa. Highest recommendation.

Probably the best ramen place in Baltimore we tried so far. I particularly liked my miso ramen with tofu which was so savory and filling (and not heavy!)

I really enjoyed this ramen spot! The staff is very attentive, the noodles were nice and bouncy, and the broth was flavorful without it feeling too oily, rich or too salty. The egg was cooked perfectly and the chashu was tender! There was no complaints from me. I feel like it is fairly priced for a bowl of ramen, too. I really enjoyed it and I'll be back!

Pleasantly surprised!! We were trying to go to a different restaurant but it was closed. So then we found this place since it was nearby. Super cute decor place, loved that they were showing Ponyo! Very happy with the taste of their ramen as a random find for us! Love myself some ramen! Service was great. They had cute little Booths as well as long tables for larger parties. We came at an off time late lunch time and it was surprisingly still full of people!

Brought me back to life! Delicious fried dumplings and perfect ramen for a rainy day.

I went between 3 and 4 stars for this ramen spot because the food is really good, but overall the service and the vibe of the restaurant are lacking to me. The employees are not very welcoming, nor did they seem to have much interest in serving the tables. If this were a grab and go type of place, that would be one thing. But this is a sit-down establishment, so I would expect better service - especially when we were one of 3 tables there. Moving on to food, it's definitely really good ramen. The spicy garlic edamame to start is a must, and the ramen options are great. I got the curry tonkatsu, which has a great curry flavor. Most everything is cooked to perfection - especially the eggs. My only note is that the pork was a little tougher than I usually prefer in my ramen. But overall, the food was delicious. I think the ice cream sandwiches are a fun novelty, but probably not worth the additional $5. Overall, stop by if you want a good bowl of ramen. But Kippo as a whole dining experience is not going to impress you.

Great ramen & great service all around I really left satisfied. Had to take left overs got full from all the food. Yummy.

Chicken Kara-age

Some of the best ramen around. It had been a few years since I last dined here but I had an out of town friend who wanted some good ramen and we came here. It's a super casual restaurant and it wasn't too busy when we came around mid afternoon over the weekend. We ordered the Chicken Karaage to share. It's not that crispy but quite tender and went well with the honey mustard sauce it came with. For my dish, I ordered the Spicy Shoyu while my friend ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu. The portions were huge and we both loved ours. The broth is just amazing and tastes so good. I would just drink the broth alone - it's that good. Definitely one of the better and more authentic ramen places in the city.

Are the noodles made fresh or dried?

Hey Robert! The noodles we use are made fresh and sent to us from a Japanese company based out of California. No dry noodles here!

That is nori on the brussels A piece of pork belly was fired for my drink. The drink menu was small but a got a chance to try them all and there is a flavor profile for you. The ramen was filling and comforting as ramen should be and be sure to ask about the secret menu. I went for Baltimore Restaurant Week and was able to try so many things. But you can go for happy hour and try all the appetizers and drinks for a discount. While we are suffering a long cold spell right now and perfect for ramen, remember ramen is perfect year round. The service was wonderful and the place filled up quickly while we were there on a Wednesday night. I will be back. Although the area looks a bit sketchy, the inside of the restaurant is trendy with a slight retro feel. We were seated immediately and told that since it was happy hour the prices were a bit cheaper. While taking our order the server asked for dietary restrictions and allergies, a good sign at any restaurant that they care about your food. I got the mushroom shio vegan ramen and my partner got the truffle chicken shoyu ramen. Despite the description saying the mushroom shio had tofu, there didn't appear to be any. Despite that, the dish was filling enough with its shiitake mushrooms, various types of seaweed, and surprisingly hearty broth. I was a little apprehensive at kale as a topping but it took up the broth well and was delicious. 10/10. If I had to give a criticism it would be that the broth didn't come out piping hot; usually I enjoy the first few sips of searing hot liquid and I couldn't get that here. My partner said he enjoyed his chicken shoyu ramen but would've liked it a bit saltier. With tip we ended up paying around $24/person, a little more than I'd like to pay for lunch, but these days restaurant prices tend to be high. I would recommend this place if you're in the area!

They do have a happy hour on Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. This includes certain rolls and appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. I had the lychee Saketini (HH $8), and it definitely had lychee flavor. It was a little lighter on the alcohol though. I also had a 22 oz. can of Sapporo premium beer, which was also on happy hour for $7.50. Both the bagel roll and California roll were $6 on happy hour as well. I highly recommend the Volcano Roll (HH $12), which had 6 pieces of salmon and tuna top with a spicy mayo and eel sauce. We initially sat outside, but once it started raining, they helped us bring everything inside. The hostess was very kind and our server was excellent. In terms of the ambiance, there is not much indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like they mainly do take out. Also, street parking can be limited.
