Chicken Kara-Age Don (Halal)

Delicious food. Ordering was pretty simple but the wait was a bit long especially since there wasn't really anyone else around. 25 min felt a bit overboard but the food was good so that's nice.

Dashi Ramen is one of those places you walk into thinking it'll be good...and walk out wondering why the whole city isn't talking about it. The star for me? The potato tots and the broth. The tots are ridiculous - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and somehow still hold their texture even when you dip them in the broth. Speaking of the broth: it's deep, rich, and layered in a way you usually only get at those hyped-up "reservation-only" spots. You can tell they actually care about what they're doing back there - it tastes like time, attention, and real skill. Service was friendly, food came out hot, and the whole vibe is relaxed but intentional. No ego, just good food. Dashi Ramen absolutely deserves a bigger stage - this is the kind of spot you put people onto and then they start acting like they discovered it first.

Spicy Red Miso Ramen

Absolutely amazing and exactly what I needed to clear my sinuses. My wife and were under the weather and we decided to get ramen. I ordered the spicy red miso ramen with all the fixings and this was absolutely amazing. I would probably say so far it's the best ramen i had in Baltimore. We ordered through uber and our food was hot and had a lot of noodles. You know you're having good ramen when the EGG IS MARINATED ugh sorry you don't understand But yes I would definitely order again

Dashi ramen is located inside of cross street market. We went on Halloween but I still managed to snag a free parking spot about a block away. My friend and I got the infamous Thai tea. I'm not sure if that's what it's called but it's the orange one. It was quite delicious. The chicken was fried perfectly but to be honest had way too many feathers left on it. The crab wontons were very good especially when dipped in the Asian sauce. I enjoyed my ramen tremendously. The highlight was definitely the broth. I can't say I would go again but it definitely got the job done.

Fried Shrimp Dumpling

The ramen is very flavorful. Both broth were very good, just what I needed for the chilly day. Shrimp dumplings were very tasty, the sauce complimented it well. The coleslaw that accompanied the shrimp went great together with the dumpling! The tots were amazing, jam packed with flavor.

Fried Shrimp Dumpling and Summer Seaweed Salad

Ramen is top notch! Ordered miso ramen, dumplings, and seaweed salad and everything was delicious. Quick service inside a food hall. Probably would do take out as it's a popular hang out spot for young people if that's not a problem for you then there's plenty of seating to enjoy your meal. I will definitely be returning.

I ordered the chicken ramen & the vegetarian/vegan devil option without tofu. I ended up mixing the broth from the vegan devil one into my chicken and the spicy sauce it was soooo yummy!

Cheesy Crab Rangoon. Very cheesy and good. Surprised me and the Crab Rangoon where I'm from isn't shaped like this.

Ate at Dashi Ramen at Cross Street Market in Baltimore, MD. Ordered the #2 Sapporo Style Miso Ramen and Cheesy Crab Rangoon. The Ramen was good and pork was tender. The star of the show was the Cheesy Crab Rangoon. I'm from NJ and never saw Crab Rangoon shaped like this and was tentative how it was gonna taste. But let me tell you it lived up to the hype. It was cheesier than I thought it would be and quite good. I could of ordered another one. This spot is legit.

Had a lot of ramen in Baltimore, and this new ramen restaurant in cross street market is the best. Try the soy tonkotsu!

That is nori on the brussels A piece of pork belly was fired for my drink. The drink menu was small but a got a chance to try them all and there is a flavor profile for you. The ramen was filling and comforting as ramen should be and be sure to ask about the secret menu. I went for Baltimore Restaurant Week and was able to try so many things. But you can go for happy hour and try all the appetizers and drinks for a discount. While we are suffering a long cold spell right now and perfect for ramen, remember ramen is perfect year round. The service was wonderful and the place filled up quickly while we were there on a Wednesday night. I will be back. Oh I hear there is a good outdoor space, but I didn't get a chance to experience that with temperature in the single digits

Although the area looks a bit sketchy, the inside of the restaurant is trendy with a slight retro feel. We were seated immediately and told that since it was happy hour the prices were a bit cheaper. While taking our order the server asked for dietary restrictions and allergies, a good sign at any restaurant that they care about your food. I got the mushroom shio vegan ramen and my partner got the truffle chicken shoyu ramen. Despite the description saying the mushroom shio had tofu, there didn't appear to be any. Despite that, the dish was filling enough with its shiitake mushrooms, various types of seaweed, and surprisingly hearty broth. I was a little apprehensive at kale as a topping but it took up the broth well and was delicious. 10/10. If I had to give a criticism it would be that the broth didn't come out piping hot; usually I enjoy the first few sips of searing hot liquid and I couldn't get that here. My partner said he enjoyed his chicken shoyu ramen but would've liked it a bit saltier. With tip we ended up paying around $24/person, a little more than I'd like to pay for lunch, but these days restaurant prices tend to be high. I would recommend this place if you're in the area!

They do have a happy hour on Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. This includes certain rolls and appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. I had the lychee Saketini (HH $8), and it definitely had lychee flavor. It was a little lighter on the alcohol though. I also had a 22 oz. can of Sapporo premium beer, which was also on happy hour for $7.50. Both the bagel roll and California roll were $6 on happy hour as well. I highly recommend the Volcano Roll (HH $12), which had 6 pieces of salmon and tuna top with a spicy mayo and eel sauce. We initially sat outside, but once it started raining, they helped us bring everything inside. The hostess was very kind and our server was excellent. In terms of the ambiance, there is not much indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like they mainly do take out. Also, street parking can be limited.
