I couldn't resist. Got more mango sticky rice. They are suuuper generous with the amount of mango (i got more than a half) and it was so good. Ordered a large Tom Kha Gai Soup with Chicken, and oh my god it was absolutely delicious. The delivery was pretty quick, and well packaged.

It is still a bit far (35min), but doable. I also wasnt sure if i would be able to eat something because wheat noodles, but the staff were awesome enough to allow my substitution of wheat noodles for glass noodles in the dish i had chosen. I had originally made the nice lady very nervous with my request and she tried to convince me to try the dish that was advertised with the glass noodles, but i assured her that it would be fine as i normally eat noodles without soup. I ordered the 3 oil noodles with ground pork. It was very tasty. Especially after i added vinegar and the house chili oil. Definitely coming back.

One of the highlights is the handmade noodles, which you can customize in thickness, from delicate angel hair to something as hearty as fettuccine. The menu has plenty of variety beyond soups, including dumplings, spring rolls, stir-fried noodles, and oil-tossed noodle dishes. I also tried the braised intestines on the side; while they were well-prepared, the texture wasn't quite for me--I'd probably enjoy them more if they were fried. Ordering is convenient, whether you prefer doing it in person, through the app, or at the kiosk. The space has a good number of tables for dining in, and there's even a piano if you know how to play. Overall, it's been a consistently enjoyable spot for lunch.

We visited on a Tuesday, and since it wasn't very busy, the service was attentive and our food came out quickly. We took advantage of one of their daily specials. the Cumin Beef Stir-Fry was half off ($13). It ended up being my favorite dish. The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. The Tibetan Diced Lamb also had great flavor with a nice balance of spices. The Sichuan Popcorn Chicken, however, wasn't what I expected. It wasn't the traditional Sichuan-style chicken I was hoping for and leaned more on the sweet side, which personally wasn't my favorite. The Flaming Roasted Lamb Leg had a delicious smoky flavor and came with a fun tableside presentation where it was set on fire. That said, the portion was on the smaller side for the price, and I was a little surprised to find what looked like French fries underneath the lamb. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and street parking was easy to find. They don't have a liquor license yet, so it's currently BYOB. There's a liquor store that's a three minute walk away from the restaurant. They also offer tea for $5 with free refills and soda for $2.50 with free refills. I also appreciated that they offer select dishes at half price on certain days of the week, so it's worth checking their specials before you visit. Overall, the food was flavorful, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the daily specials make this a great value. While not every dish was a hit for me, the cumin beef and Tibetan lamb were excellent.

Lao Sze Chuan is a new-ish (open since January 2025) Sichuan restaurant that took over the space Busboys and Poets used to occupy. It's a huge space, but they did a great job renovating it, and it feels light and bright and modern - very comfortable. It's huge though - so I hope people know it's there and are ordering takeout/delivery or stopping by a for a meal in person! The service was very friendly and very fast, so it's a great spot for an in-person meal, too! Their menu is as large as the restaurant space, so there's something for everyone! They definitely have a lot of Sichuan dishes, but if you're not up for Sichuan, they have some other dishes that might fit the bill: dim sum (plenty of dumplings and buns), lo mein, fried rice, Peking duck, basil eggplant, Mongolian beef, and more... On Saturday at the restaurant, my husband and I shared a pot of white tea and a few dishes: crystal shrimp dumplings; pork soup dumplings; spicy tofu skin strips (shredded tofu skin tossed with Sichuan-style chili oil, peppercorns, and spices for a bold, numbing and spicy flavor); spicy and sour fish fillets (tender fish fillets simmered in a flavorful broth with pickled mustard greens, garlic, and Sichuan spices); a side of white rice for the fish; and red bean paste pumpkin cakes for dessert. When we ordered delivery in February, we shared: vegetable steamed dumplings; Yu-Shiang Eggplant Roll (tender eggplant braised and rolled in a traditional Sichuan Yu-Shiang sauce, offering a perfect balance of sweet, sour, savory, and spicy notes); crispy salty chicken (bite-sized chicken pieces deep-fried and seasoned with basil); salt & pepper pork chops (crispy fried pork chops tossed with onions and jalapeño peppers for a bold and savory flavor); and a side of white rice). I've enjoyed everything we've eaten (although I wouldn't recommend the crispy dishes for delivery for obvious reasons - I can't resist salt & pepper pork chops sometimes even though I know it doesn't travel the best), and I love how broad the menu is. I can't wait to return to try more of their dishes!

Their menu features ramen, brothless ramen, and other Asian-fusion bowls. Honestly, the food didn't look bad and there seemed to be some gluten free options. However, I only got the boba tea this time around and I was sadly very disappointed. When ordering, there wasn't any option to customize the tea (sugar or ice levels specifically) so when it came out, I was disappointed with the sweetness and the lukewarm temp. I wish there was more ice and less sugar. The boba was also very overcooked and slimy. It didn't have the chewy bounce that boba is supposed to have and it wasn't marinated well either - it didn't taste like brown sugar at all. Just flavorless and mush. I ended up going home and dumping the whole thing over some ice cubes but it still wasn't great. The only upside is that they use dairy-free milk so no need to customize that. But overall, I wouldn't recommend this spot for boba unfortunately.

It was refreshing, unique, and easily one of my favorite things we ordered. We also tried a few drinks from the bar and everything was really good and well made. Everything we tried had great flavor and I'd happily come back to try more of the menu. I also really liked the atmosphere. The decorations were great and gave the restaurant a lot of personality. The ambiance was fun, comfortable, and made it feel like a place where you could hang out for a while instead of just coming in, eating, and leaving. Between the decor, lighting, music, and drinks, the whole place had a really good vibe. Overall, we had a great experience. I ordered Nam Tok (beef salad) as an appetizer and Kao Soi as an entree. Coupled that with a Paulaner German Lager. The food was all good. The Nam Tok was a little sweeter (more Thai basil?) and less citrusy (less lemongrass?) than I expected. Had to request Nam Jim Jaew sauce to give it a little more zing. I had never had Kao Soi (chicken curry noodle dish) before, so I have no frame of reference to compare it to. It came with two chicken drumstick in it, which I was expecting. Love drumsticks, but it was more work than I had hoped for. Was more in the mood to just dig in and not to have to work for my supper so to speak. Flavors were good. No heat at all though, even at their 2 level. I will admit my tolerance is super high though, so not a good barometer to gauge off of. Service was fantastic! Thanks Samaria! Very helpful without being intrusive. The bill was $63 (with 2 beers), so not bad at all (especially for the Fells Point area). Unrelated to the restaurant, the parking here was a ridiculous $17 for 2 hours. Oof! Brutal! And the Union Wharf lot was almost empty. Street parking was non-existent. Overall: Service great! Food good, but not to die for. Decor very nice. Parking horrible!

My noodles had a unique texture. They were chewy, almost like rice cakes. I really really enjoyed the texture and keep dreaming about getting another bowl. The steak was also flavored really well. Next time, I will order double meat because I feel I needed a little more protein to noodle ratio. There wasn't a lot of sauce, so the noodles were a bit drier. Unfortunately the food took 20 minutes to come out mind you the place was completely empty. When my friends food approached the table as she began to start eating it, we noticed it was quite dry. As we looked further into it, we developed a sense of knowledge that both our pasta were really cold and my friend had zero butter on her pasta. You would think they directly took it out of the pot and placed it right in her bowl and dried it completely. Also, we had to pay four dollars extra for the chicken mind you we got maybe two pieces each extremely thin and cut up to minuscule pieces. To say we are disappointed would be an extreme understatement. To think that we hiked all the way out to Whitemarsh just to enjoy some noodles and Company is quite sad given the circumstances of our food. I never liked to leave bad reviews, but I believe this experience called for at least a review just to give some feedback. The workers were nice, but it did take a minute for us to be acknowledged when my friend was acknowledged. The interaction wasn't very pleasant and my friend felt uncomfortable in the situation. we hope that this review can provide constructive criticism because we do enjoy noodles and company. We just had a pretty outlandish experience.
