Thai Ice Tea

Delicious lunch and prompt, non intrusive service. Located in the Quarry Lake shopping center. The atmosphere was quite pleasant on a Friday afternoon. Really enjoyed the meal and excited to come back and see the results of the mural they're painting on the wall!

This is one of the best Thai food spots I've encountered. My homegirl told me there's a new Thai place in quarry lake so there I went. I'll never pass up some drunken noodles! So I place an online order. Drunken noodles (I requested for them to be extra spicy), spring rolls and steamed broccoli. Everything is A1! And I love the fact I placed the order, was about 20 minutes late picking up the order, 10 minute drive home and everything was still piping hot. Oh yeah and online ordering there was a 20% off discount. One day I will dine in. The restaurant looks cleanly and spacious. Hosting staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. Can't wait to come back.

Still great! Peanut salad dressing smells wonderful and tastes great. Service is fast and friendly. Lunch specials are limited but if your after pad Thai or curry-your in luck.

Wife found this new Thai restaurant at Quarry Lake. On a Friday night, we did not need a reservation. There was plenty of available seating. The restaurant vibe is warm and cozy. Ideal spot for both casual dining or special occasions. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. We ordered the fish cakes and Nam Tok (beef) Salad for appetizers. The tangy dipping sauce for the fish cakes was amazing. The Nam Tok salad had nice flavor, but I'm used to thinner sliced beef. The main course consisted of Panang curry, drunken noodles, and Kra Prow Moo Groob (crispy pork belly w/chilli basil sauce). The curry had a rich, creamy broth with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. The crispy pork was beautifully cooked, with a perfect crunch and rich flavor. Drunken noodles had a nice smoky wok flavor and not oily. Overall, an excellent Thai dining experience. We will definitely return.

Had a great weekday lunch at Chat Thai - very pretty decor & it smelled like flowers when you walked in. Good music playing too! The lunch portion was plentiful, delicious and a good price. I had a bit leftover. The lunch special comes with a salad with peanut dressing (sweet and savory). I also got wonton soup, which was tasty but 4 wontons & broth shouldn't cost $9 IMO but the broth was tasty. I will be back soon! The waitress was nice too, she checked back often.

We entered shortly after 4 PM, which is when they open. There was no one downstairs when we entered, so we walked upstairs. When we walked upstairs, we asked the man at the bar if we could be seated because there was no one downstairs. He looked a bit flustered at first, but still ended up seating us in the same spot. I sat before near the window, which is exactly what I wanted. He immediately brought us ice, water and menus. He pointed to the specials on the menu, and gave us some time to look. We were the only people in the restaurant. Within a few minutes, he came and took our orders. Then, we waited.... For like 25 or so minutes... for the appetizer. And honestly, when they brought the duck rolls out, I was super disappointed. These were not the duck rolls I remember. These were tiny, underfilled, mostly full of the wrapper themselves, and lacking flavor. Additionally, when I placed my initial order, I asked for all of the condiments/sauces to be brought out. I asked the server again when the rolls came out, and he didn't bring them out until I asked a third time when the entrées came out. When the entrées did come out (ga tiem and crab fried rice), they left a lot to be desired. Ga tiem: bland. And to make it so bad, the vegetables served with it, were not cooked in the sauce as they normally are. They were served on the side and we're not cooked all the way. I can't really eat broccoli, so I swapped it for green beans, but I could pretty much snap the green beans in half because they were still so undercooked. Crabmeat fried rice: the fact that they cut up like three full scallion stems, barely cooked them, and tucked them under/at the base of the rice is crazy. They weren't even cooked long enough to release flavor. Also, to be in Baltimore, the amount of crab was a little embarrassing. Definitely should have been more. Overall, the rice wasn't very flavorful. Thai tea: good! Not too sweet, not too milky. You want to know what really made me mad? I asked for soy sauce, and they brought those super cheap packages that just look like black water that the cheap Chinese restaurants provide you when you get carry out. Those packets literally taste like nothing. I have been to very few Asian restaurants in my life that provide that type of soy sauce, especially when you dine in. It doesn't taste like soy sauce at all. I was incredibly disappointed. And considering the fact that I had to ask for these sauces three times, I was even more disappointed. We spent about $62 on the items above. Would I say I got my moneys worth? No would I say that I enjoyed this visit as much as I enjoyed the last? Absolutely not.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a place people love. great energy, great food, and great staff who make you feel welcomed. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, which is always a good sign. It was a bit loud, but nothing unbearable or uncomfortable ... you could still enjoy your meal and conversation. The atmosphere felt lively and fun. I ordered the Thai fried rice extra spicy and my goodness, it was incredible. The flavor was rich, perfectly seasoned, and the spice level was exactly what I wanted. You can tell the food is made with care and authenticity. I also ordered the pomegranate martini and it was absolutely amazing. It had the perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming, especially if you're someone who doesn't love super strong drinks. It was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. Overall, Bodhi is definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to. Great food, great staff, and a great overall experience.

Figured I would leave my yearly review update as our last couple visits have been a bit…read more.. suboptimal. With all the competition in the area, we don't find ourselves coming here quite as much. Their drunken noodles are not as flavorful as the competition and often come out gummy. That said, the Tom Yum fried rice is still killer, and if we stick to our favorites they will give any competition a run for their money. The real reason for the loss of a star is the patchy service. We gave up eating there in person years ago and now focus on carryout. Typically we show up at the time our online order tells us to, but more often than not, the food isn't ready. Not the end of the world, we usually just go for a walk around the block and by the time we are done with that, it's ready. What drives me crazy though is that on a recent visit, while we were walking, we get a text that our order is ready, we come back and it STILL isn't done, we have to keep waiting. TLDR; sometimes the food can be slow to come out and the information about when the food will be ready isn't always accurate.
