We live in the neighborhood and walked here last night to celebrate Valentine's Day. BYOB if you want to dine in, there are several tables. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Curried Duck. Both were very good and came with rice. There is nothing fancy about ChokChai-- dinner is served in to-go boxes on a tray. But this place is quiet (no tv or music blaring) and there are lots of beautiful plants. Thanks, Chokchai on Harford Road in Parkville! We'll be back.

Taste: 5 stars Value: 5 stars Overall: Yummy Thai food! *meow* We get deliveries from here not infrequently via one of the delivery apps. Our favorites are the drunken noodles and pad see-ew. Their food has been very consistent.

This place is really close to my house and during Covid I had to try different food (since I was going out to eat) and convenience was and still is great. I could give them 5 star just because of the Thai teas!! This was the only drink that stopped my nausea when I was pregnant and I'm still obsessed and he's a toddler now. The only complaint I have is that the portions are a little small for the price, but I think that's typical of restaurants today.

Great food and service! I love their pad thai. There have been some recent updates to the restaurant's interior as well.

Not much space to sit, but great for takeout. Friendly service, tasty food, and the menu has a good variety of options.

If trash was a word. Epitome of bad service and tasteless overly salted food. Never coming back and the interior is of a crab shack

There was so much black pepper in everything, it was overpowering. Thai food is usually spiced with Thai chilis, not excessive black pepper.

We entered shortly after 4 PM, which is when they open. There was no one downstairs when we entered, so we walked upstairs. When we walked upstairs, we asked the man at the bar if we could be seated because there was no one downstairs. He looked a bit flustered at first, but still ended up seating us in the same spot. I sat before near the window, which is exactly what I wanted. He immediately brought us ice, water and menus. He pointed to the specials on the menu, and gave us some time to look. We were the only people in the restaurant. Within a few minutes, he came and took our orders. Then, we waited.... For like 25 or so minutes... for the appetizer. And honestly, when they brought the duck rolls out, I was super disappointed. These were not the duck rolls I remember. These were tiny, underfilled, mostly full of the wrapper themselves, and lacking flavor. Additionally, when I placed my initial order, I asked for all of the condiments/sauces to be brought out. I asked the server again when the rolls came out, and he didn't bring them out until I asked a third time when the entrées came out. When the entrées did come out (ga tiem and crab fried rice), they left a lot to be desired. Ga tiem: bland. And to make it so bad, the vegetables served with it, were not cooked in the sauce as they normally are. They were served on the side and we're not cooked all the way. I can't really eat broccoli, so I swapped it for green beans, but I could pretty much snap the green beans in half because they were still so undercooked. Crabmeat fried rice: the fact that they cut up like three full scallion stems, barely cooked them, and tucked them under/at the base of the rice is crazy. They weren't even cooked long enough to release flavor. Also, to be in Baltimore, the amount of crab was a little embarrassing. Definitely should have been more. Overall, the rice wasn't very flavorful. Thai tea: good! Not too sweet, not too milky. You want to know what really made me mad? I asked for soy sauce, and they brought those super cheap packages that just look like black water that the cheap Chinese restaurants provide you when you get carry out. Those packets literally taste like nothing. I have been to very few Asian restaurants in my life that provide that type of soy sauce, especially when you dine in. It doesn't taste like soy sauce at all. I was incredibly disappointed. And considering the fact that I had to ask for these sauces three times, I was even more disappointed. We spent about $62 on the items above. Would I say I got my moneys worth? No would I say that I enjoyed this visit as much as I enjoyed the last? Absolutely not.

I'm usually not someone to like Thai but I really enjoyed this restaurant!…read more The fresh spring rolls were indeed very fresh and yummy! I liked the sauce- it was interesting. The fried spring rolls were super! And good the sauce was too. The Thai and lychee and Thai tea are spectacular. The best Thai tea I've had perhaps. Veggie dumplings are also SPECTACULAR!!! Red curry panang was Super good and coconut flavored . It was a bit too strong and rich for me but definitely good. Shrimp black pepper was good! Pad Thai with tofu so good!!! The peanut hint was delicious and the noodles had a perfect texture Pad kaprow was pretty good and a little spicy. The drunk noodle was ok. Not crazy about the noodle texture but the chicken on its own is ok. The combo of the noodle chicken and veggie isn't bad but I'm not crazy about it because of the noodles. The beef is a bit too chewy and I'm not crazy about the taste (bland). All in all the main dishes were very good and so were the apps!

We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, which is always a good sign. It was a bit loud, but nothing unbearable or uncomfortable ... you could still enjoy your meal and conversation. The atmosphere felt lively and fun. I ordered the Thai fried rice extra spicy and my goodness, it was incredible. The flavor was rich, perfectly seasoned, and the spice level was exactly what I wanted. You can tell the food is made with care and authenticity. I also ordered the pomegranate martini and it was absolutely amazing. It had the perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming, especially if you're someone who doesn't love super strong drinks. It was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. Highly praised for it's flavors and excellent execution of Thai food that has become a favorite for many. Coming during dinner time can be very daunting since they don't take reservations and the waiting area is fairly tight, sometimes out the door. Weekday lunch times end at 230pm so better come before 130pm to not feel rushed, lunch traffic is not nearly as packed as dinner. I especially enjoyed the Drunken Noodles and the curry beef, pork is not an option here. The interior is really cozy, a warm traditional wood stained decor that is dimly lit. Kinn Imm is definitely one of the highest rated Thai restaurants in the Rockville area, and sometimes I am surprised that not all people have heard of it yet. Make sure you order the food at your spicy level that you can handle because it can get really too hot to handle fast here. This is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Try Kiin Thai Restaurant soon, you won't regret it and may also recommend it to others too!

Had a very tasty experience at Bodhi!…read more The space is quite small! There's a small waiting area at the bottom of a set of stairs and then a small dining area. There was one server working the entire restaurant (including the take out orders), so service was a little slow. The server was really doing his best, but it was a packed restaurant. Despite this, the food came out relatively quickly! The portion sizes were generous. The Bodhi Curry with salmon was fantastic! It comes with a side of rice to eat with the curry. The fried eggplant and chive dumpling appetizers were also crowd pleasers! Everyone loved their meals. There is plenty of street parking within walking distance!

We waited to be seated for only 15 minutes. Our waiter took our food and drink order promptly, and we let them know we were waiting on two more but they had us order since we were ready. We let them know we wanted to split the check before we ordered. Our friends arrived shortly after, but were waiting for 20 minutes before they decided to go up to the counter to place their own order as no server was coming to our table. Our waters had been empty for just as long. All of the food ordered at once came out at different times, and as a group we waited ~45 min for all of the food to come out. Our waters were still not refilled. I ordered the summer rolls with tofu, which were really refreshing and tasty with the peanut sauce. They were quite big too. Everyone had finished and we were sitting for another half hour before my friend went to the register to order dessert. Finally, when we were ready to pay our check, we waited another 30 min before we went to the register to pay as our server was not checking on us. We did see her around and she checked on other tables, but not us. They then refused to split the check, even though we had asked them to before we ate and they had confirmed that they could. Luckily Venmo makes things easy these days. On a separate occasion I ordered delivery from them, and the pad see ew with fried tofu was tasty and generous with the tofu. I think the food here is really good, but I don't think I would dine in again purely due to the service issues I experienced.
