    Kitchen sampler

Thai cuisine is definitely in my top three. That said I met with a friend at Fuji San for dinner. I almost always get chicken pad thai when it's on the menu and this night wasn't any different. Additionally, we ordered the kitchen sampler to try a variety of the appetizers. It came with spring rolls, tempura veggies, fried tofu, shrimp and chicken paired with three different sauces for dipping. I especially enjoyed the cucumber and sweet chili sauces. My favorite from the sampler was the tempura veggies and the spring rolls. The chicken pad Thai was delicious and coooked just right. There are about 8 tables in the dining room. It's a small family owned restaurant with accommodating and attentive customer service. The prices are right and definitely a nice spot for solo dining, family outting of even a date night.

I am a new regular at this gem of a Thai restaurant. They are well known for their drunken noodles and for good reason. ***chef's kiss. I have also tried their Thai basil beef, red curry, and pad Thai. It has all been AMAZING. Best Thai in the area by far. And the service is prompt and very attentive! Definitely a must try.

Located in a strip mall, this unassuming restaurant is decent. Looking for a Thai place, I found Fuji San on Yelp. It was easy to get a table for four on a Saturday night. The service was good. The spring rolls with shrimp were really good. The duck entree was tasty. The red curry dish was pretty bad. I ordered chicken and regretted that after the first bite. The chicken was either boiled from frozen or had been reheated. It was tough and tasted raw. I struggled with getting it down, as I was dining with friends and didn't want to spit it into the cloth napkin, no matter how discreet. I poured the entire bowl of rice into the dish and only ate the rice with broth, as the vegetables were crunchy and also raw. The broth was really good, but I left hungry. Don't plan to return, but at least I tried a new place and everyone else enjoyed their meals. And I didn't get sick, as I expected! Yay.

Hands-down, THEE BEST DRUNKEN NOODLE for 100s of miles! Take that to the bank!

The Drunken noodles were great! We didn't love the gyoza or the miso soup (we prefer more of a miso flavor and less seaweed) though.

One of the highlights (especially for families) is the robot cat servers. They're a hit with everyone at the table, from kids to adults, and they genuinely add to the fun without feeling gimmicky. The food is excellent and checks all the Izakaya boxes: yakitori, gyoza, and my personal favorite--takoyaki--are all done right. On top of that, they also offer sushi, ramen, and full entrée dishes, so there's something for every appetite. Drink options are just as solid, with Japanese sodas, green tea, and a good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages. This is a great spot for the whole family and an especially awesome place to host a birthday dinner for teens. We brought a 13- and 14-year-old group, and it was a perfect balance of fun, great food, and a relaxed environment. Highly recommended if you want good Japanese food and a memorable experience.

My only complaint is that all of the ramen broth is pork as I would have loved to have some ramen but I have a pork allergy. That said, the udon broth was very tasty and had a clean but bold flavor. It is probably one of my favorite broths I've had. You use the QR code on the table to order and the robot brings you your food. Our server also helped put stuff on our table from the robot. It's a very cute robot and sings about people being in the way as well as your table number. Everything we had was cooked well or assembled great. I really want to come back and try some of their other sushi rolls. The salmon belly was torched just right and the mayo complimented it well. The yellowtail was unique and the sesame paired well with it along with the pepper. I wasn't a big fan of the beef skewer because it was a bit sweet. The inari sushi has spicy mayo in it and I enjoyed it. The shumai stays hot for a while so just be careful. The green tea stayed warm throughout our date and was nice and hot when it first came out. The prices are incredibly reasonable and I felt the fish was very fresh. Our server answered all of our questions, which is how I ended up with udon instead of ramen. My spouse said his curry was delicious and he devoured it.

My date arrived before me and got a table and some tea, when I arrived we ordered some miso soup which came piping hot and delicious and we ordered four different rolls of sushi. We got a California roll, we got a son-in-law mango roll which was shrimp tempura topped with crispy spicy tuna and mango and it was absolutely delicious, it was probably the most favorite of the four rolls that we got. We also had their first year roll which was an anniversary sushi roll and had Old Bay crab meat, avocado, and shrimp tempura style. To cap off the four rolls, we got a spider roll which is soft shell crab, cucumber, and roe. They were all really good but the son in law mango roll was probably the best and our favorite of the four. My date had never had sticky rice with mango and that's one of my favorite desserts ever. So we got one to share and she loved it and it was different than I had had in other places and it was really good and really tasty. This place offers a lot of unique sushi as well as unique dishes. I think the last time I was here I had a combination of sushi and a regular dish from the menu. Our waiter was fantastic and our service was great. Every time I water glasses were a little low he came by and refill them and got us another pot of tea. They have a good amount of variety and keep the quality good as well. They offer a lot of sushi options, and some hot food options as well. Their crab was excellent too - I haven't seen any good buffets recently with crab offerings. They also offer milk tea in the fridge and ice cream for desserts.
