So I decided to give it another try. I ordered moo goo gai pan and miso soup. All was great! And for the price can't beat it. I'll be back!

Sushi combo- California roll and B16. Spicy Tuna Roll

I normally do a bit more research before trying a place for sushi but I was in the immediate area and that's all I wanted. The Google reviews looked overall good (the Yelp, now that I look, are worse) and I didn't immediately see any complaints so I placed an order. The sushi prices were reasonable, the wait was short, and it's conveniently located, but that's about thee best I can say. I ordered the pretty basic California roll and spicy tuna rolls, they were very small rolls (diameter), the rice was unpleasantly dry and they just weren't great. The best thing about it was the pickled ginger, which hey, who doesn't enjoy a spicy bite, but if that's the highlight, we've got a problem. Service was quick and polite, so I'd probably try them again for their Chinese menu but stay away from the sushi.

2 Cheese Steak Egg Rolls, shrimp & broccoli, General Tso's Chicken Steamed White Rice

On the hunt for some Chinese in my area (Towson) so stopped by Sushi Ichiban. General Tso's chicken & shrimp w/ broccoli are popular dishes in my opinion so we decided to try both. Of the two, the General Tso chicken was my fave! The chicken was flavorful and the spice level was nice. The dish is cooked spicy however we requested the dish be made with very mild spice for my fiancés sake. Wondering how potent the flavor would be if cooked how the restaurant intended for it to taste. Now the shrimp and broccoli, the dish was tossed in a Brown sauce I can't recall at the moment. The flavor was alright, could have used a flavor boost. And then there's the cheesesteak egg rolls. Was disappointed to bite into them and there was more cabbage than steak and cheese. Overall, the food was okay. Still on the hunt for Chinese food! 11/29/21 - Decided to give Sushi Ichiban another try. This time, solely for the Sushi. I tried the Towson Sushi which is a shrimp tempura roll topped with real crab meat and avocado. The sushi was decent. I think I'll try other options to get a greater perspective of the restaurants range.

Wow I've lived a few miles from this place in several directions for as long as I can remember. I always thought of it as "the place next to Panera" but I somehow have *never* gone here...until now. I'm excited to say I've been missing out. We got several sushi rolls, some unagi, and a chicken & broccoli entree. Absolutely none of it was less than great! Everything tasted awesome and was an exemplary example of what was ordered. Great sushi entrees, great other entrees. I can't wait to try some more stuff from here.

I love the lunch and dinner price here. If you want to find a Chinese food place that cheap and have a lot of food, try this place. The lunch menu is about $5.99 that includes a soda can. The dinner menu is about $6.99 and includes a soup or egg rolls. The food portion is huge, and I rarely finish it.

Came back to give sushi another try - better than last time but the the tuna quality was only okay.

Food was very good, and wait wasn't too long. For the price you pay you get a good amount of sushi per roll

I was greeted promptly, and the host tried to seat me even though I mentioned twice that I wanted to place a to go sushi order. I was given a menu, a pencil, and a sushi order form, but the form wasn't very self-explanatory. I tried to get the host's attention to ask a few questions about quantities and how certain items were prepared, but he seemed distracted by other activity in the restaurant. While waiting, about 10 minutes, I noticed the decor was bright, the sushi chefs were neat and clean, and the preparation area looked well maintained. In the end, I took a guess on my order (California roll and lump crab meat) , and once I got home, I realized I made a solid choice. The sushi tasted very fresh (although the crab didn't taste like lump - it was still tasty) which definitely stood out and made the experience better. I ordered enough for lunch that day and still had leftovers for the next. Will I go back? I'm not sure, but I might try again on a different day and dine in.

So, we arrived early on Saturday to meet friends for a 6:30 PM dinner time. This is a small restaurant with 8 tables total with seating for approximately 27. The restaurant is charming and cozy. We were lucky there was a table for 4 by the window. It was a rainy evening, and the restaurant was chilly. It is a BYOB with no corkage fee, which is very nice. Our friends arrived shortly after we did. They served us water right away, and we asked for wine glasses which they brought as well. Because I was cold, I ordered decaf hot tea. Their menu is quite extensive. My husband decided on the Grilled Salmon with the Terriyaki sauce. He was not thrilled - he did not feel the salmon was fresh. I had the Shrimp Stir Basil, which was decent size portion of stir-fried onions, bell peppers, fresh basil leaves, carrots, string beans, zucchini, and snow peas in a brown sauce served with white rice. I did ask for no spice on my dish. Our friend ordered the Wonton Soup, which looked nothing like the Wonton Soup she was used to - the dumplings were completely different looking - she did eat them, but she did not eat the broth as she did not like the flavor. I tasted it, and it was not good. She did enjoy the order of Spicy Tuna Roll she ordered - she did say it was very spicy. Her husband had the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, which he said was very good. I have to say the service was just okay - they certainly did not make you feel very welcome to be there - we probably will never go back.

It came with spring rolls, tempura veggies, fried tofu, shrimp and chicken paired with three different sauces for dipping. I especially enjoyed the cucumber and sweet chili sauces. My favorite from the sampler was the tempura veggies and the spring rolls. The chicken pad Thai was delicious and coooked just right. There are about 8 tables in the dining room. It's a small family owned restaurant with accommodating and attentive customer service. The prices are right and definitely a nice spot for solo dining, family outting of even a date night.
