We ordered Gyoza, Yellowtail w/ Jalapeño, the Phoenix Roll, and the Christmas Tree. It came up to a little less than $50 which was great for two people because we were full. Next I had the Uni, somewhat rare on availability. Delicious and fresh, you can taste ocean in the creamy smooth texture. I order big, now having the barbecue squid, very tender and cooked perfectly in a sweet and savory sauce. One can taste the caramelization and bbq flavor. The broccoli florets, carrot and onion slivers are a nice compliment. My entree as usual is the Sashimi deluxe. Never disappoints. A few pieces were also cut too large to eat in one bite, so the construction could definitely use some improvement. As a group 5 of us ate sushi, and 4 ate off the regular menu. Please do not let the strip mall exterior deter you away from this place, the sushi and service is excellent. Their menu is pretty extensive with a great variety to choose from. Also they give complimentary samples of sushi and other treats with each visit which is nice, gives you a chance to try something different to order next time. It even included a mushroom, which was a nice treat, and the dipping sauce was sweet and light. The candy cane roll, which is like a seafood salad inside, topped with shrimp and crab stick, was surprising. However, the spicy salmon roll was pretty bland and disappointing. However, they do have several very reasonable lunch specials, they delivered quickly, and the wasabi was actually spicy. The best sushi place I've tried so far in Baltimore! Was craving sushi, so we went here honestly just by chance as this happened to be the closest sushi location to us. The vibes in this place are fantastic: each table has a few fresh flowers on it, with beautiful lighting and a very cozy overall feel. We were seated right next to the place where the chefs were making the sushi, which also lent itself to the atmosphere. They also have the most adorable cups for tea! The menu is wide, with many options for anyone to be satisfied. There are several diverse appetizers, a la carte sushi options where you can order several sets of 2 rolls/nigiri, as well as traditional rolls, specialty rolls, and several non-sushi options as well. We got the seaweed salad appetizer, the sashimi appetizer, the Yankee deep-fried roll, and fried green tea ice cream for dessert. We found all the options to be extremely affordable and very fairly priced. The sashimi appetizer was a personal stand out to me, as it had a variety of very fresh fish options that our waitress described when she gave us our order. The Yankee roll was also delicious and very filling. The fried green tea ice cream was also a wonderful treat and tasted almost like a matcha funnel cake: I would definitely come back just to have that again! The service was also fantastic: even though we went in at a somewhat crowded time, we never felt we were waiting long for our food or for our orders to be taken. Also took a peek at the lunch menu and deals when we went for dinner--it looks like you can get 3 rolls for under $13--a great deal!
